They over charge and were not polite to me. If you are visiting the area, DO NOT GO THERE. They obviously treat their regulars differently. I overpaid for regular polish because they did not have the color I wanted in Gel. Instead of $20 listed on their menu, they charged me $30. The polish didn't dry after over an hour and was all messed up. I went back the next day and they told me they didn't guarantee regular polish, so I went with a gel in basic white. The nail tech asked me why I wasn't getting a manicure because I had a lot of skin. I told him I was just there the day before so I guess they didn't do a good job. The price difference between gel and regular, but he charged me $25 for the gel. Make it make sense. What they don't know is that we will be visiting this area often, but they won't EVER get another dime for me. You never know who you're mistreating. Nail technician VERY painfully pulled/pried off my existing acrylic nails with some makeshift tool stating that soaking them would take 25 minutes and that was too long. Hours later my fingertips are still throbbing. The damage to my natural nails is yet to be fully known. Unprofessional, unethical and painfully dangerous. I made an appointment and still waited a while. I got a mani and pedi. The polish was bubbled and tacky after drying for an hour. I went back 20 minutes after leaving to have the polish fixed. They said it was old polish and opened a new bottle. The "fixed" Polish is still bubbled and looks awful. My cuticles look horrible. I asked if they would change the old polish on my toes to the new polish and I was told, "no you're fine". I went here with a gift card for Valentines Day. I asked for the remaining money on the gift card back as I would not be coming back. I was told no, and I could give it to someone who would come there and use it. read more

I got a mani/pedi and it's only taken 2 days for my nails to chip off. I got a regular polish manicure, as I do not like what gel does to my natural nail, and I'm aware it does not last as long. But 2 days and they are already bad enough to remove at home. One nail has peeled completely off. I think the brand of polish used is very poor. Wow, I am blown away! I chose this place simply because i could book an appt online, but I had a fantastic experience! I made an appt for a regular manicure but the morning of I decided I wanted to try a gel manicure, so when I got there I asked if they had time for that, and they were incredibly accommodating. This was my first time getting a gel manicure and I just love my nails! I can't stop looking at them. I was in and out in 30 minutes with dry nails ready for life. I'm never using normal nail polish again. I am now a believer in gel manicures and I will keep coming here to get them! I included a picture with my review to share what they looked like, but I want to note that i am very hard on my hands/cuticles due to my job as a barista. They may look a bit rough in the picture, but for me, this is a vast improvement to what they looked like when I came in. I'm not usually one to make reviews or comment on a businesses bad work, but when it comes to Best Nail Bar I cannot help myself. I've been here twice and to be fair, my first visit was quite nice. My nails looked gorgeous but everything is a bit overpriced. Now my second visit is where my mind has been completely changed about the business and I'm confident I will never be back. I went in for a fill, and upon sitting down I was told I was "too overdue for a fill". In all my years of getting my nails done I have NEVER heard that before. If I ask for a fill, I receive a fill. I'm not sure what the technicians name was, but I truly believed she conned me into paying for a new full set at full price when all I wanted was a fill. Throughout my manicure, she cut my nails too short to the point of where they hurt, and filed my SKIN so hard. By the end of everything, I left this place crying because I paid close to $100 for something SO basic and I truly believe my nails look terrible. Not to mention, I've spent over an hour there! Half of the nails are crooked, some of them have dents in them, and the paint looks like it was done carelessly. I've been going here for about a year. I've only used a couple of the technicians and they were really great. However I do have to single out John. I've never had French manicure and I asked him if he could do it. I absolutely LOVE them. They are the dip powder and they are so thin and natural looking. I have tried 3 different nail salons that said they could do Ombré dip, with results varying from bad to worse. Today I found John because of another Yelp review that had a pic of a beautiful Ombré dip by him. Made my appt on-line, which was awesome, and saw him today. Ombré dip mani AND a beautiful pedi in a just a little more than an hour. I almost didn't want to leave this review because I do not want to have to compete with other people for an appt. After calling a number of nail salons with no availability for 3 pedicures and 2 manicures, I stumbled upon Best Nail Bar, I called to see if they had availability and they were nice enough to squeeze us in. The staff was friendly and provided fast service (without feeling rushed). I'm happy to have found them since we were Hurricane Ida evacuees (which they were unaware of). My family and I often visit the Santa Rosa/Destin area and whenever we visit again I'll be sure to take the hour drive out to visit this nail salon again. read more

I had just scheduled with a particular someone based on the reviews. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the cash policy. I did not see it when I booked on website. I needed a quick fix for my nails before a bachelorette trip. I called and asked for availability in the next 45 minutes at 4:30 , and they were available. I got in right at 5:15, and my nail tech was waiting just for me. I told her I wanted an acrylic full set and she suggested instead tips with dip powder. She brought me to the Dip color chart. Initially I chose a neutral pink but when I saw the sparkles she had another perfect suggestion for which sparkle dip powder to go with. After sitting I told her I wanted to go a little longer with a rounded tip, she said what about almond, which I was a little apprehensive about, but after she needs such good suggestions thus far, I just decided to trust her and said yes. She got started and worked a complete hour on my nails shaping them perfectly, buffing, filing, and making sure each one was shaped and the same length as the opposite hand. I am Super happy with the results, and I will be back! read more

They say $40. for a fill then John who is the owner and the nail technician for my daughter and I charged us double after doing nail art that we never gave him permission to do.
