Great place and service! Visiting from out of town and found them on yelp. I have tried a place in Crestview before (didn't look at reviews before I went) and had a horrible experience so I'm always nervous trying a new place but I had great service here and would definitely recommend this place. Took about 40 minutes for my pedicure and let me hang out to dry. I felt very comfortable and they were very detailed. Also kept asking if I wanted anything to drink or if I needed anything. I went on a Friday morning so it wasn't as busy as it probably gets. Parking was easy. Will be back when I come to visit again! read more

My experience at this salon was unbelieveable, it took me awhile to process what actually happened. If I could give them negative stars I would. I HIGHLY recommend people to avoid this VERY RUDE salon, and take their money where they'll get friendly and good quality service! So what happened? A few days ago I was in the area and needed to get a new set of 'dip' nails. I walked in and there wasn't that many people in there, maybe 3. I asked the lady if she had time to do my dip nails, and she said 'yes' and then looked away from me. I awkwardly stood there until she finally gestured to a station and told me to sit down. I sat down and asked for the dip powder color swatches so that I could pick the color while I waited. I finally picked a color and a man came to sit down and do my nails. Now, I've been getting dip nails for a year now and am very familiar with the whole routine of how it's done. So the Male technician begins by wrapping my fingers in foil with cotton balls drenched in acetone, so that the old dip comes off. So I sit and wait, and the male tech never came back. 25 minutes have passed now, and I still don't see him. Knowing that acetone can really eat at your nail beds, I decided to check a few fingers. I see that the old dip has melted off now so I go ahead and take all of them off my fingers and wait. The male tech finally comes back with another customer and starts doing her nails immediately. I'm fine, I'm not in a hurry, so I watch TV as I wait. He then notices that I took the foil off my fingers. He is clearly upset that I did that, and so I explained to him that I didn't want to leave acetone on my nails unnecessarily. I explain that I am used to how every other salon keeps checking on my fingers until the dip is dissolved and mushy, then they dremel the goo off. Well, I have clearly ruined his entire day when I explained myself. He gets arrogant with me and barks at me "that's not how I do it here". He jumps up and starts angrily talking to the woman tech in their language and she comes over to me. She sits down and asks me "do you want dip nails?". She must have asked me this question atleast 10 times, and she already knows that's what I came in here for... she begins shaping my nails. She and the angry male technician both start to lecture me again about how "that's not how we do it here". The male technician goes on to tell me "I can't do your nails because you're RUSHING ME, and this is MY BROTHER'S SALON!!!". I am totally baffled and confused and I try to sincerely apologize for taking the foil off my nails, and that it was just a misunderstanding. That wasnt good enough. They're both now saying that I still have dip on my nails (which I didn't and have attached a picture). The female technician starts buffing at my nails very aggressively and tells me she will file my nails, then I needed to wash my hands and LEAVE because "they don't have time to do my nails". What?!? So I left. Luckily I found a different salon who treated me wonderfully and had no issue doing my nails for me. The Male tech really needs to go through some anger management courses because he doesn't know how to treat or speak to people. I have been getting my nails done for about 25 or so years ( acrylics). In my experience, I would go to salons varying from the walmart "salons" to high end high dollar salons. Ive also lived all over the country although Im from the FWB area. In all my years of getting acrylics and pedicures, salons have been few and far between that I would ever return to let alone consistently and happily. This husband wife team have not only been a joy to sit across from and be pampered by but it is the only place I have ever felt confident enough to persuade my very masculine husband to come into for a pedicure. He was over the top pleased and ended up asking about a manicure!! It was such fun!! The salon is immaculate, well decorated, peaceful, warm and super welcoming. As well, I no longer even get acrylics thanks to them, I get my nails "dipped" and now have my own nails. I love love LOVE this salon and the owners! After reading some of the nasty negative reviews I cant help but wonder what kind of people wrote them because these folks are downright sweet as can be and I have never seen them ever treat anyone badly ever. I went here after work June 30th. I paid for the deluxe pedicure, which was offered for particularly tough heels. I had to tell the person repeatedly that my right heel was not smooth. Then I paid for a gel manicure and when the woman (whose name I don't remember) finished, it looked like my nails had already grown out from the manicure. Additionally, she used an LED cure light that I repeatedly noted was not on much of the time. She kept reassuring me. Well, 5 days later and the gel polish on my left hand came up in one sheet and my index finger on my right hand has peeled up partially. This all happened less than a week after. Today, 8 days later and my hands look A MESS. I travel for work, so I am nowhere near there to either get my nails redone (on them) or get my money back, which would be my preference. Overall great gel/mani. Staying in the area for 30 days and was in and out 38 min. They ask for refreshments while you sit and let you change the channel to your liking. Giving it 4 stars because even though my gel nails turned out great and the color was fantastic, my manicure was a bit painful. The tech seemed rushed although there were no other customers and I was not on a time crunch. 3 days later my cuticles are still a bit sensitive to hot water. WORST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Dirty salon, Dirty Towels, Dirty, Dirty Dirty!!! The polish on my toes is literally an inch thick!!!!! Took over an hour for a pedicure. I don't get a pedicure to have lotion rubbed on my legs and feet. I get a pedicure to clean away all the dead skin on my feet and UNDER my toe nails. Had to ask him to scraped away toe jam. Sought this place out while on vacation because of high Yelp reviews. A bonus is that they open at 9am on weekdays, instead of 10am so we could get a jumpstart on our day in the sun. My daughter and I arrived shortly after they opened. As the first customers of the day, we were greeted and seated in spa chairs right away. There were two people working, a man and a woman. My seven year old got a "spa" pedicure (minus cuticle trimming - basically water soak, lotion and massage), just polish on her nails for $15, which is a great price. Her nails looked great and she was done quickly but not rushed. Here is the story behind my three star rating ... I asked for a spa pedicure and manicure, priced at $40. Part way through another customer entered and was seated in a spa chair. It's not unusual to get another customer started soaking in the spa chair while the first is finished. However, the man left me mid-pedicure to start on the new customer without a word. I wasn't sure if he'd be coming back or if the lady would take over when she was finished with my daughter, but the lady also started working on the new customer's manicure, because the woman had asked for something to take off her gel polish. So strange. My manicure had not started yet. The lady came back to finish my pedicure, which included uneven nail trimming, poor cuticle trimming, and sloppy polish application. I opted to skip the manicure, so the pedicure ended up being priced at $25. To top it all off, both the man and woman kept sniffing and coughing, so they may have had either allergies or a cold. Speaking of allergies, they were burning incense, so beware, if you're allergic to that sort of thing. read more
