I visited My Nail Spa today for the first time and it won't be the last! Loc was amazing. I asked for the Deluxe Pedicure and it was more than I expected to receive. First off, the spa was very clean and the pedicure chairs were the most comfortable I've ever been in. The back massage that it provided was very relaxing. Now, for the pedicure, it included the usual exfoliation, polish removal, cuticle trimming, etc. Loc was very gentle and careful with my skin and nails. The extra add ins for the "deluxe" part was, a lavender scrub, skin mask, moisturizer, a long and deep massage of the feet and lower legs, hot wax treatment and warm stones followed by OPI's Cozu-melted in the Sun paint on the toenails. I was there for what seemed like an hour and a half. And it was total bliss! I was sure that it would cost me an arm and a leg for the service that I received but when I checked out, the lady (I believe she's Loc's wife) said $60. I added a tip of over 65% because I was so pleased with their service and care. It's a really nice salon located very conveniently for me right off of 98. I normally get a pedicure right before coming down to the beach but from now on, I will wait until I get here for my beach pedicure! read more

My and Loc have a lovely space and are lovely people! They truly care for their customers and make everyone feel valued. They even give me tips and tricks for at home care in between visits. Their space is pristine and the massage chairs are heavenly! I love coming here for my monthly pedicure and don't hesitate to recommend this spot to friends and family in the area. Lovely nail salon. So happy we chose this one because we will be returning every time we're in Destin! Appointment only gives clients that personal non-rushed touch of service. The owners are great conversationalist and so kind. Most importantly, they do wonderful work! My husband and I came in for a couple's pedicure (mine gel, his regular) and received a lovely massage, fantastic cured nails, and got to learn a-lot from the owners about the area and more. They also have an assortment of nail polish colors! Salon is VERY clean and looks brand new. A must go-to for all your mail services read more

Wow, wow, wow!! We found My Nail Spa through the Yelp app. When we saw they were the only place with 5 stars, we thought we would try them. THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! The owners were so kind and gentle. I have never had a pedicure that I didn't come out with bleeding cuticles. This couple did such a great job that I didn't feel anything except pure relaxation. This is a special gem. My first time here and it is a very quaint and relaxing environment. No TVs so peaceful. Nice spa music playing and great attention to details. All of the special services you want when you get your nails done. Also as I was leaving, there was a huge storm that came up and My insisted on walking me to my car underneath her umbrella. This place is first class. Don't waste time at any other salon. Come see Loc and his wife Mai. They take their time and treat you like family. Many local residents came in while we were there and you can tell they love the owners and the owners love them. They care about their customers and are about the experience and taken care of you and not driven by the high volume like most in and out salons. Thank you Loc and Mai. First time here and it was such an amazing experience! Very long hand and feet/leg massages with the pedicure and manicure. They worked meticulously and my nails turned out perfect. The couple/owners are also very interesting to talk to! They've traveled all over the U.S. and had fun stories to share. They follow precautions for COVID-19 and wore gloves and masks the whole time. Came here during our vacation trip and was beyond impressed. We had the best service ever! We walked in for 3 pedicures and only waited 15 minutes (although they do take appointments)! We had the best foot massages, along with the cutest selection of colors and the best customer service. Also very affordable. I literally loved them!! read more

Traveling this week and picked this place because it had great ratings and was about a mile from our condo. Loc did my pedicure. He took extra time and care massaging feet. He and the woman working there were both friendly and attentive. I was one of only two in the salon and the other lady was a local resident who said this is the only nail salon she comes to. And the price was great! When back in Destin I'll come here again. read more

Wonderful experience. Made a same day Friday afternoon appointment with this husband and wife team, and I was the only customer in the spa at the time. My gel manicure and pedicure were done simultaneously and the full experience was under an hour. Very friendly, very thorough, very clean, great color selection, great massage; overall an excellent mani/pedi. Will definitely return next time I am in the area. read more

My mother and sister-in-law and myself went here for pedicures while on vacation. I picked this place because of the reviews on yelp and the statements about the husband and wife crew and they did an awesome job just like the previous reviews said. They had great massage chairs and the pedicures were wonderful. They also did an awesome job on the polish! They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and had great suggestions for us for things to do and places to eat while in Destin. This nail salon is a hidden gem. You will only find it if a friend (and a local) tells you about it. This small salon is in a commercial strip center on Main Street in Destin. It is brand new and immaculately clean inside. Don't let the exterior influence you. The shop is operated by a husband and wife who work together. Excellent, and did I mention CLEAN, service. You won't be disappointed!! They also do waxing in addition to manicure and pedicure service. read more

My Nail Spa is a gem. We are visiting from out of town and I wanted to take my 6 year old for a special mom daughter day and her first pedicure. I wanted someplace nice and very clean and found it on Yelp. It is a husband wife team. The small spa is very clean and new. They went out of their way to make me and my daughter comfortable. They brought us drinks and pillows for her. Their service was wonderful. I loved that there was no blaring tv. They offered to take pictures for us since they knew it was a special day for us. I had a pedicure and dipped manicure here and they were AMAZING. My hands and feet feels so soft. Loc and My were so sweet and extremely attentive. They greeted me by name when I walked in and were great conversationalists. I'd suggest making an appointment before going so you can have their undivided attention. I was on vacation in Destin and desperately needed my nails done. I googled nail salons near me and My Nail Place popped up. Their online reviews were out of this world so I decided to give them a shot. The reviews didn't lie, the shop is clean, quiet, and cozy. They are the sweetest couple and they made me feel relaxed and welcome. The pedicure was amazing, and my dip nails are beautiful. They are hands down better than my regular nail salon at home! Finally, after drying for at least 15 minutes, I noticed my big toe has like a bubble under it that moves around when touched. She finally comes back after 15 minutes. And I inform her she needs to repaint that toenail. She does. // I wore sandals for the next 3-4 hours to eat dinner that evening in 40° weather so that they would dry completely. Then sleep over night and wore socks & boots all day. My wonderful future daughter-in-law bought me these cute new slippers. That pic is what my nails look like 24 hours later. Then I put closed toe leather flat shoes on and wore for rehearsal dinner. The next picture is the next morning, 36+ hours later. I regret not making an appointment with my normal spa at home for polish that would not get damaged, before coming to Destin and trying this spa. Perhaps it was the inexperienced staff member, I don't know. I picked the China Glaze polish. I think it was the goop.

Definitely recommend adding the scalp and foot enhancements. Spa menu food menu and snacks were adequate and had a good variety. Now for the lack of one star: The space itself feels a little bit like an afterthought of Peter Bos (the developer ). Only two chaises in the tiny women's lounge and railings that are totally unnecessary given you can't get out to the balcony and totally obstruct the awesome view of the east pass (picture is from standing position, over said railing). Both showers give you the option of SCALDING hot or trickle of cool. I mean, I like a HOT shower and this was too much for even me. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are in dispensers on wall, but aren't spa quality. No hooks in the huge shower (probably an 8x8 space) to hang a towel or robe so the only place to put it is in the outer portion of the enclosure, forcing you to walk across tile floor in front of frosted glass door that leads to locker area dripping wet and naked. Fun! There is a long counter with two sinks by the bathrooms but other than that, no place to do your makeup really and no hair dryers etc (this might be due to COVID though). In summation: great for a massage but lacking for an overall girls day spa experience.

My pedicure has lasted about 2 weeks and still looks emaculate - I got a French and am usually really picky about how pink they look but I really loved mine here! My boyfriend enjoyed his pedicure so much that he fell asleep in his chair! He said it was very relaxing and kept raving how smooth his legs and feet were. They play country and 80s music on their smart TV - so that was a little out of place, but luckily I don't mind Luke Bryan and Michael Jackson (haha!) if I'm staying in Destin again, I'd probably visit here for any last minute manis or pedis!

My mother in law came here and got dip on her nails, it's only been four days and and five of her…read morenails are already chipping and peeling. It's not cool when one pays for good quality nails, but end up with cheap quality. I am very surprised because most of the reviews are good, which is why she went in the first place. Please go elsewhere when getting a dip done. Needless to say she won't be back and I will never go. Such a waste of money.

Second half of that week the false ones started to go missing. This is my personal amount of wear time for these (kinda like a fill in for nails). Upon professional removal my lashes were a teeny weenie weenie but shorter for about a week. They have now returned to former glory. Waking up to clean under eyes and not having to apply 4 coats of mascara to my blonde eyelashes was awesome!!! I would ABSOLUTELY do again for a special occasion. I don't really need to be looking that fine all the time anyway. The guys couldn't handle it. Sssssssizzle. Hahahahahaha Mod does amazing pedi's and My pink and white with her husband was perfect. I finally found a permanent place to get my nails done!! Yay!!!

This place is beautiful and the customer service is good; however, the nail technicians were very…read morerough with my hands and feet. Additionally, I found it awkward that I was shuffled between three different nail technicians. They cut into my cuticles on both my hands and feet, drawing blood. After leaving, my cuticles drew back and looked terrible for the next week. Unfortunately, this reminded me of why I started doing my own nails to avoid how rough nail "specialists" are!

This is my first review ever but the service and quality is so amazing that if I didn't share my wonderful experience that it would show a lack of appreciation. I did quite a bit of research from reading reviews to closely examining the photos of the nails posted by customers and owners. I narrowed it down to two. I loved the fact they work according to appointments and thanks to a heads up in a low rating review I had the smarts to call first before coming. The super sweet thing is My- instead of telling me sorry appointments only, she politely informed me she had some time available early that morning to get me in. Unbeknownst to them, after a long night at work I needed this pampering. It is a husband and wife team which is great because you DON'T have to worry about or wonder who will I get every time you come in. The husband did the miracle massage (bc all my legs and feet aches were gone afterwards) and the wife did the actual painting and WOW she totally nailed the picture I showed her which is rarely the outcome. Back up, I forgot to mention my cell phone would only work on charge which I didn't have and they found two chargers for me and asked me where I would like for it to charged.... totally spoiled me...once I got my phone to working I was able to show My the picture only one time at the beginning and she nailed it! She and here husband did a full manicure and pedicure, NO short cuts leaving out cutting around the cuticles and slapping on color- NO, they did it right! After learning I worked all night they suggested I rest even longer in their posh message chairs. I was offered bottled drinks while I was there and even to take with me.One hour and 30 minutes of feeling like royalty from beginning to end. Oh did I mention all the brands she uses, Essie (yes ladies), Opi, Orly and the list goes on to include gel and she buys the ENTIRE COLLECTION so if you're like me forever searching for the perfect color, find the color but only to be broken hearted when you're unable to BUY that color....soul shattering moment. Great news umm My probably has it even if it was a few years back and she takes care of her colors....the colors she used on me flowed like the first day bottled. They have the largest selection in colors that I have ever seen to date. The color goes from the front all the way to the back but tastefully organized and displayed. The place is spotless clean... from the Health Department. The location is in a low profile area. As mentioned earlier they do work on appointments to ensure the highest quality of one on one service which I LOVE. Nothing worse than walking in and a wall of heads turn and stare at you...chills from flashbacks. Oh I almost forgot outside vaildation, the makeup artist at Mac, my Dental Hygienist verbally complimented my nails and the countless secret admires (including my Dentist) I caught following my hands to catch that split second stop for a quick glimpse. My Nails is a perfect retreat for some alone time, girls day out, mommy and daughter time or some sister time. My Nails is MY new and only spot for nails. read more

Hidden Local Gem!! There are lots of nail salons in destin, but if you need somewhere to relax on your vacation that isn't overcrowded or commercialized, this is the place to go! Annie and her husband made us feel at home away from home and made sure we were relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyed the service we were receiving. My husband and I both got spa pedicures with hot stone massage, parafin wax and salt scrub. I also got dipping powder manicure. Since they live here, they also told us all of the other great places to eat that are less crowded/touristy! When we come back to destin we will come back to My Nail Spa! read more

I have been using My for 2 years following her from place to place until they were able to open their own place. I travel from Crestview to Destin just so they can do my nails. My and Loc are the greatest. I have tried many places and never have I ever been as satisfied as I am with them. So if you want a great job for your nails this is the place to go. They give each person individual and undivided attention. It is a clean and neat place where you feel right at home. While on vacation in Destin at the end of May/beginning of June my friend and I decided to get our nails done. This place was beautiful and clean and the owners were beyond nice and accommodating. We walked in and they were able to get us in quickly. If ever returning to Destin I would happily call ahead to make an appointment. Our nails looked fabulous and lasted for nearly 3 weeks! My friend got an awesome design as well. Love when nail technicians can go the extra mile to provide an extra like artwork. They are a hidden gem and will not disappoint. I went once before and when my mom came to town she just had to go with me to get a manicure and pedicure. Best mani/pedi I have ever had! I read the other reviews on this salon and decided to try it out with my sister and friend. The reviews were all completely accurate and I was so pleased with the service we received. The sweet couple that owns and operates this salon are very accommodating and go above and beyond. Owners are wonderful people! Their salon is very different from any I've been to in the past. Very quiet, relaxed and CLEAN! When making the appointment for a couple's pedicure, I explained that my husband had never had this done before. I was reassured that they would take good care of him and that many men come there who have never had a pedicure before, either. What a hidden gem in Destin!... My and Loc were an absolute delight to have done my manicure and pedicure. I have been to another salon here in Destin and there is no comparison to the quality and service they delivered. I chose them because I looked at the Yelp reviews and 26 reviews all giving them 5 stars couldn't be wrong, well I had to see for myself and they didn't disappoint. I've been to several nail salons in my life, but this is by far the best. The owners greeted us at the door with the most friendly service, offered us complimentary drinks, and were patient and helpful while I chose my nail color. I got the $45 pedicure and it was better than any pedicure, massage, or any spa service I've ever received. They were very thorough and even told us some of their favorite places to eat and hang out in the area. We can't wait to go back!! read more

Let me start by saying BEST pedicure massage EVER!! They were so sweet and took great care of my Daughter and I. By them taking two appointments at a time gave them the ability to focus all their skill, time and attention on you. Did I mention how quiet and zen it was without all the noise of typical over crowded spas. It wasn't just a manicure/pedicure, it was pure peace and relaxation squeezed into an hour. Came here with my mom and aunt while on vacation. Immaculate salon, super clean and nicely decorated. Great massage chairs for the pedicures. There was such a calm and serene atmosphere here, which was a wonderful stress relief. We got pedicures here and they did such a great job. I'm an out-of-tower and I chose this location for a pedicure because of its rating. I have never seen a rating of 5 perfect stars with so many reviewers, so it was an obvious choice. I was not disappointed. Everything was great. The salon was neat and clean and very well organized. The background music was lovely and relaxing. Came here while on vacation with family. My mom and daughter had pedicures as well. It was a perfect experience. The salon was super clean and didn't have that strong smell you find at other places. The couple who owns that salon was sweet and kind and gave us local recommendations for where to eat. I think we walked out with the best pedicures we've ever had! We have a place in Destin and are there about once a month. I've been searching for a nail spa that does great gel manicures in Destin and I found it! They gave a great gel mani and I had a regular pedi that was also great. Also great massage chairs n the feet and legs. The place is hidden but it is a great find! It's modern and very clean.
