Roni 2.0 pizza was crispy and so tasty. Had 4 of those in 1 week. Lol. Highly recommend it.

Got the summer corn pizza! Seasonal one and really good if you like elote or corn in general. They make it super quick and it was a good portion for 1 person with some leftover or sharing as an app. The service was good, but minimal seating, bow market gets pretty busy at night when the weather is good.

Heard about this place through tiktok and got takeout the other day. We got a Spicy Pickle Pizza and added Pepperoni as well as a Jr. Beef. We really enjoyed the pizza, it was spicy and loaded toppings. As a newbie to south shore pizza, this seemed to be a good representation and I look forward to getting it again. The beef was like any other north shore roast beef sandwich. I love a good roast beef sandwich and this was good but there's nothing different about this one compared to others around.

Best roast beef sandwich ever. Got the junior 3 way, and it was fantastic ! Too bad I forgot to take a pic. Just trust me and get one. I'm sure I'll be craving this long before I'm able to return to the area. The pizza was good. Pickle is very spicy. The pepperonis have that nice "cupped" shape. The pizzas are 10" so you might need one per person if you are big eaters. This is a walk up window. No inside seating but there is a small outdoor seating area and lots of ppl came out of the bar next door to get food. It's in a little market place looking shopping center.

I've always heard of Mike and Patty's so I was quite excited to try them out at the Bow Market location. And I get to also try Hot Box also. The atmosphere is filled with energy and the service was amazing! Foodwise, it was decent. The strawberry cheesecake egg roll was quite innovative. The pizza and burger were alright. Nothing extravagant but gets the job done.

Had the roast beef and its soo good. Thinly sliced and tender and full of flavor. The American cheese is gooey, the onion roll is soft and pillowy, and the hot sauce is flavorful, but not too spicy. The cashier will forget about your order the second you make it so you'll def want to hover. He will forget to call your name. Not really talking points off that though. 5/5 food

North shore style pizza that is soooo yum. It's not typically my type of pizza but I absolutely loved it. Their staff is friendly and their storefront is small but there is seating outside and it's good for takeout. The Buffalo chicken pizza was my fav but the squash pizza and spicy pickle pizza were also so good

This review is based on Take out only. Our first thought was that the pizzas were really small. The crust is nice and the toppings ratio felt right. I'd get the pizza again from there but I do think it is a bit expensive for what it is.

I've seen so many posts of hotbox on social media and was really excited to try it, however it didn't really live up to the hype. I tried the pickles, classic cheese, and barbecue chicken pizzas. They are known for their charred edges, and it can be quite crispy and delicious when it's not 100% charred on a slice's crust, but it can be overwhelmingly charred and bitter sometimes. They were thin pizzas, but also kind of wet. The chicken on the barbecue chicken pizza tasted kind of old/dried out. The classic cheese, or overall base cheese/sauce tasted pretty decent. The pickle pizza didn't really taste like pickles, but more of the pepper topping. If you are nearby and craving pizza, this will do the job, but if you are looking for something REALLY delicious, I'd look elsewhere. But, it's still worth a try.

Among so many different types of pizza, sometimes you just want a good ol' pub pizza. fluffy and cheesy all around, hot box offers the perfect comfort pizza. Each single pizza is personal-sized, but can also be shared - just get some dessert at one of the many spots in bow market.

Going it Bow Market, I was not craving pizza at all, but was convinced it would be better to get pizza than a sandwich here....so I got the pizza and I don't regret it. It leans more towards thin crust. It's pricier for a small pizza, but this is more of a pizza to snack on while you get other things to eat/drink here. It was a little messy to eat and the pizza didn't hold well, and there could've been some more chicken pieces, but overall a good pizza. AND the crust was nice and crispy with the melted cheese around it. I would get again amongst getting other things at Bow Market!!

Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave good food and wine recommendations from the menu. Our party really enjoyed the octopus as it was a tender bite with freshness coming from the peas/mint/cilantro. We also enjoyed the juicy meatballs with tomato sauce and again a hint of freshness and nuttiness coming from the pine nut pesto. We were not crazy about the striped bass crudo. It just seemed to fall flat flavor wise for me maybe not enough salt or acid to really counter balance the other fresh clean flavors in the dish. That being said it was not bad just underwhelming. The pizzas were great value price wise and the flavor combinations were unique but also worked well with one another. I liked how they didn't shy away from using spicy peppers on the Nduja pizza. The Fennel Sausage pizza had that fattiness from the sausage mixed with acidity from the cherry peppers and some creaminess/extra layer of flavor with the green garlic cream sauce. I somewhat wish the pizza bottom was baked slightly longer for a less floppy center but that's just personal preference. They clearly put a lot of effort into this pizza recipe. The only critique we would have is the service seemed a bit rushed. We would have enjoyed a bit more time between appetizers and the mains. Even the check came pretty shortly after we finished which would be understandable on a busy weekend night but this was a Tuesday evening and there seemed to be plenty of empty tables around us. Other than that would recommend for an elevated night out!

I got the after school snack cocktail which was very refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. We split the Bucatini Verde and it was so delicious. I couldn't even pinpoint the flavors I was eating but it was amazing. Fresh pasta and just really good flavor. We saw a dish online we wanted, but the server explained they use that pasta for different dishes and change out the sauce, so I'm glad I got to try it. We then split the Pepperoni + Vodka Sauce pizza which was good. I'll be honest I was a tad disappointed in the pizza. It was flavorful but I think I was expecting the same feeling I got when I had the pasta. It was good, but just that, good. Crust was a little burnt. I did love the vibes and pasta and it's definitely known in Cambridge for a good reason. I'd recommend a reservation if you'd like a table as it does fill up fast.

My go-tos are the mushroom pie and clam pie, both of which are super flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients. The service was poor from the start. The waitress told us we would be seated at the bar. She rolled her eyes and appeared visibly annoyed when I asked if it was okay that my sister was under 21. She said it was fine as long as we didn't order drinks, then seated us at the bar. We were only given drink menus. When the bartender came over to take our order, I had to ask for a food menu myself. Our seating was also uncomfortable. We were placed right next to the bar/server station. My sister got splashed when drinks were being opened, and servers repeatedly bumped into her chair while passing. We ordered the Carnivore pizza. The pizza itself was quite salty. The dough was decent, but not impressive. I kept trying to convince myself it was good, but it fell short. Pizza: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Would I return? No. Overall, I was surprised by the 4.4 rating. My expectations were much higher based on the reviews.

As with any good restaurant, its menu is well curated. While there is a nice outdoor dining area, given the heat of the day, we dined inside. Without reservations, we were accommodated at the bar. Reservations are a must. Bar seating is fine, there is ample space, not at all crowded. The bartender doubled as our waiter. He was very knowledge about the menu and personable. As an appetizer, my son and I split the chicken cutlet - which for some could be a meal. Delicious as always. As an entree, I ordered my favorite, the pizza margherita. My son ordered the same topped with sausage and prosciutto. There is no skimping on toppings here! The pizzas at "Si Cara", are a treat, very highly recommended. The pizza had barely any ricotta though we paid up for it, and the toppings were so scarce that it was mostly crust (more than usual Neapolitan). The garlic bread was the same price but half the size. It was cafe style seating, not restaurant, and just a weak version of the South End location that I do not recommend.
