As much as they do have a lot of stuff in their menu, the food is just mid and when it came to the pizza, the texture just felt very weird and it's like they used fake cheese or something but the wings were all right but they weren't the best, and when it came to inside the restaurant when I came in it was very very small and the tables were not clean and when they had the cheese pizza for display it did not look good and it just looked cold and days old and they were about to serve me that one until I told them no (I wish I had pictures) and I don't understand why it costed $16 for six chicken wings and one pizza it makes no sense and it felt very overpriced. read more

Came here today to get takeout. Parking lot is a mess. It is kind of a sketchy looking area with small parking spaces and a lot of businesses tightly packed together. When you walk inside of this place it has some interesting decor. Right now they have Christmas decorations up which are cool, however they have not removed the every day decor, just added onto it (see pictures below). The service is kind of slow, we waited over 30 minutes for a takeout order of two pizzas even though no one else was there. The pizza was nothing spectacular, just regular plain tasting pizza with average sauce. Not bad, but there are so many pizza places around there is no need to settle. The olive pizza did not have that many olives. I will insert a picture below. read more

First time I ate there was December 2022 for lunch. I ordered online which was great got this very professional receipt which I took with me but didn't need. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs tat was enough for dinner too and was good needed a little more sauce. Great price at $5.00 and the breadsticks were amazing! I feel like their pizza used to be better. Not sure if they changed ownership or recipes, but they used to be the best pizza place in town, and now they're kind of middle of the road. Still worth checking out, they have great hours too. But their pizza was amazing, now it's good. Speedy Pizza has been around a long time. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is surprisingly good. I play pool at Joe's 507 in the same shopping plaza. Because of that I gave Speedy's a try. I have had their Chicken Parm grinder a few times. This is one of my favorite sandwiches and they do it just how I prefer. The bread is hot and crispy and the chicken cutlets are seasoned and sauced well. And awesome sandwich for 7$! The best deal on their menu is probably the fried dough. For about 4$ you get a large amount. Enough to share with a couple of people with a side of marinara sauce. Its delicious! I have actually not tried their pizza myself yet. But from others recommendations the chicken cutlet sandwich, meatball parm sandwich and their pizza is done very well. I will absolutely eat here again and recommend it to others. read more

Default pizza place for my boyfriend and I. We've tried a few pizza places in the area and this is the only one we like enough to keep going back to. They have online ordering on their website with a minimum of $15, but you can bypass the minimum by calling on the phone. I've been by the store front and it's a little small. We ordered delivery with a medium-sized group. You can order pizza by the slice which is nice. I got pizza and garlic bread. The pizza comes in multiple styles, including pan, NY style, and thin crust. The NY style is a bit thick but pretty good, and the sauce is a bit sweet but again okay. The garlic bread was good, not overdone and they used real garlic. Not the best pizza place in the area but a good one. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place was DISGUSTING. Ordered on Uber Eats bc it was one of the quicker delivery times. Never again. Ordered a hot oil pizza- there was 1 pepper on it and no hot oil and was undercooked. Ordered clams casino pizza and almost vomited. Bad smelly clams, and random pieces of green peppers. A salad with Gorgonzola where the Gorgonzola had actually gone bad and was a dark grey and smelled terrible. Honestly the most disgusting food I've ever eaten. Ordered a pizza for delivery and it's definitely not the best. May be one of the worst I've ever tasted. The sauce was so bland like they took an old bottle of Ragu and sopped it all over. The toppings weren't even fresh. I ordered ricotta and sausage. The cheese was dried out and the sausage really had no flavor. (This is a review for their pizza and delivery service only.) Don't be deceived by the name -- Hot and Speedy actually serves up some really good pizza. And even better, they deliver during lunchtime via Seamless to Wilton -- one of only two places I found on Seamless that does that. I tried their La Madonna pizza, which contains prosciutto, fresh arugula, figs, ricotta and basil. The figs give the pizza some savory sweetness that was addicting. I've almost scarfed down a medium pizza all by myself today. Overall, I enjoyed the pizza, and I was even happier that I finally found a good lunch place that comes to Wilton, especially since the food selection in town is rather sparse compared to other towns around here. OMG never again, they don't even know what they are doing. The guy we ordered from didn't even know how to make chix parm hero, he was putting american cheese (from the plastic wrappers might I add) with lettuce and tomato...stupid. They used the same tongs to use on the raw chicken and well as the fryer, didn't even have 2 different ones. We asked for sauce and he was giving us ketchup...I could go on but for heavens sake put someone in there that know how to cook and how things are suppose to be. We will never go back there again. Awful service!!! I order for pickup at 12:00 and when I went there they were closed!!! I went there 5 hours later to complain and the women that worked there lied and claimed they were open. I was about to consider this one of the places my co-workers could order from, but after this experience I will not be ordering their. My advise is to try Crosswords Pizza or Davinci's. Inexpensive, but not Speedy, and not very good. Ordered online through Eat24. Estimated delivery time was 45-60 minutes. An update confirmed delivery in 48 minutes. Food arrived 80 minutes later. Pizza was okay. One of the chicken cutlets on the chicken parm grinder was as tough as shoe leather. Meatball parm grinder was okay - small meatballs that tasted suspiciously like the frozen ones you can buy at the supermarket. Mozzarella salad was good, but the accompanying breadsticks were inedible. Burger was okay, fries were limp. Overall - blaah. Good value but not very good service and the food is okay, at best. read more
