When she returned my car to me at work with the receipt I immediately noticed the $28.99 charge for EACH wiper! I replaced the wipers 2 WEEKS ago and they did not need to be replaced. I have used the same brand of wipers for years and I have NEVER been told they needed replaced. They try to say the law doesn't allow there to be a residue ( wipers like Rain-X) which is a ridiculous and inaccurate claim! Another woman was told the same thing while my daughter was there and she heard the woman say that she thought her husband had replaced the wipers recently. This Valvoline has deceptive practices and they take advantage of customers by threatening to fail their inspection if they don't replace items that do NOT need to be replaced. I contacted this Valvoline on Raleigh Road to express my dissatisfaction in their service and deception regarding the wipers. The response I received for every concern I voiced was "I understand." I have used the Valvoline in Goldsboro for years and the service there has been amazing and honest. It was convenient to go to the Wilson location due to my being a teacher in Wilson HOWEVER I will never use this Valvoline again I strongly recommend to others if they need and an inspection and or oil change to choose somewhere else/ANYWHERE else to get it done. What should have cost me under $100 cost me $147 because I was charged almost $60 for wipers that were NOT needed. This is a very deceptive and manipulative business. **My daughter took her car to be inspected the same day in Greenville and passed...her wipers haven't been replaced or needed to be replaced for over a year.

say this reluctantly but: very horrible service recently…read more I brought in my car in to get assessed for a broken handle, they took the door apart w/o even asking my permission to 'assess' it. and if I didn't go with them then its $240+ to reassemble said door. blunder #1. also they originally had quoted $260 and it jumped to $460 on top of which. congradz you already lost yourselves a loyal customer. the professional thing here to do in this situation is ASK the customer to proceed. this misquote is bc one of their mechanics doesn't know what the hell they're even doing. pricing quotes fluctuates at any given moment. thanks for curing me of ever having considered using you guys in the past. hard lessons learned. if you're reading this try Sturdivant's auto in Chapel Hill instead. they're professional + will try to actually save you time + $$. don't use these guys if you have anything slightly serious unless you've got lots of money to burn.

The part arrived within the window he quoted (2-3 hours), was installed without fuss, and the final bill was reasonable. What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage. I ended up needing more work done and while it was expensive as cars are it didn't cost an arm and a leg. Gia the manager was also just pleasant to talk to and very communicative overall. She even offered to let me come around the desk to type in my credit card number for privacy which I felt was a thoughtful gesture. Overall my experience was great and my car feels better!
