Bring back that lovin' feelin' HC Auto Sales!…read more We had a love, a love, a love you don't find everyday... When I found this dealer online I fell in love. Indeed, the car was attractive, very competitively priced, and clean. The shop had an excellent of making her look lovely. They performed an alignment, put on new tires, and replaced an indicator light. I thought Amir, the salesman, was polite and did a good job answering my questions on Messenger. It promised to be the beginning of a beautiful relationship. There's no tenderness like before in your fingertips... After I arrived at the dealership the love began to slip away. Amir was simply too busy for me. Over the course of 2 hours, I only got about 20 minutes of his time, and half of that was signing paperwork. I was left to do the research, test drive, and inspect the car on my own. You're trying hard not to show it but baby, baby I know it... When we sat down Amir got stone-faced when I tried to get a lower price (he wouldn't even lower the $599 documentation fee). I would normally appreciate the "no haggle" approach but he also wouldn't deliver on my most basic requests (like ordering a second key or floor mats). You lost that lovin' feelin' now it's gone, gone, gone, whoa-oh... the gas that is. I drove away with a 1/4 of a tank! Amir was friendly and assured us that the car had been thoroughly checked out at their body shop. Ten days after purchase, the battery was no good. Long drive from FV to Raleigh, left the car overnight, borrowed a car from a friend to get to work. Long drive to get the car back. A few days later the engine warning light comes on. Back we go. They keep the car overnight and replace a sensor. Long drive back the next day to get the car. Both repairs covered under their warranty but both had $100 deductibles. Very expensive car when you add all the gas and extra expenses for a car that was supposedly checked out completely. I'd recommend using a different mechanic to test one of their cars before you buy it. I have sent two emails to them beofre I posted this comment but they both came back with a message saying 'undeliverable'.

My car, the first and probably only brand new car I'll ever have was vandalized as I ran into a…read morerestaurant to retrieve an order I had called in. As I was returning to my car, I could see it from a distance, someone had "keyed " scratch, the entire length of the driver's side of my vehicle. It was severe. Rule of thump: put water on a scratch on your auto finish, if the scratch disappears it can be buffed out. When I got home I ran the hose, wet the car, the scratch remained completely visible. As I'm new to Raleigh, and new to NC I didn't know who to call. I opened the Yelp app and contacted several repair shops based on reviews. They all responded promptly and gave a quote except one. The first one to respond didn't give me a quote, he set a time for the next day when he could come see it in person. The day Travis arrived a few minutes early and I was ready. He inspected the scratch and gave me a quote, best by several hundred $$ I was skeptical, I told Travis I was awaiting to hear from a couple more shops but I would let him know either way within a couple hours. I had a good feeling about Travis so even though his very much lower price gave me a "too good to be true" vibe, I needed my car fixed so I texted Travis. We set a time for two days later as I had to work around my schedule. Travis' two helpers arrived early, before Travis. They explained they would prep the car and could start immediately. I left them to get started as I had a project had had to attend. When I looked outside maybe 20 mins later Travis was there his truck unloaded, equipment set up. All three seemed very busy. What they had to do to get that scratch out was unreal. The scratch wasn't just to the metal, the metal was scratched as well. It was a lot of work many steps in the process and it took some time. As they neared completion of the project, one of the guys found me in my backyard and filled me in. I started towards my car, already close enough where the scratch was previously visible, I saw shiny pint. I continued to close the distance, scrutinizing with increased intensity. I was at the car, scanning the previously damaged area with my eyes. I saw no sign of any damage, no residual of the scratch whatsoever. My nightmare was over, Travis and his guys made my car look like brand new. I can once again drive my car with pride. I recommend Same Day Bumper and Grill all day every day and twice on Sunday Than you Travis !!
