I had backed into a sign that bent my exhaust pipe and caused it to rattle against the undercarriage. After going to the Meineke on South Saunders Street and getting a quote of over $500 to replace my entire exhaust pipe, I went to Bob's for a second opinion. He was very kind when it was clear that I was nervous and took me into the garage to show me the problem. He told me exactly how he was going to cut out the bent part and replace it. Originally told me $100, but rung me up for $80. Really fair and reasonable. And fixed the problem with great workmanship! A few other customers came through while I was waiting and they all seemed to have a similarly positive experience. These people are really down-to-earth and care about their customers. Highly recommend and will come back in the future.

I came to this location because I was told they had 3.5-inch piping--simple enough, right? I…read morebrought my own performance muffler and clearly explained what I wanted: cut off at the flapper valve, extend with 3.5-inch pipe, weld in my muffler with a turn-down, and use the existing hangers. The goal? A clean dumped exhaust just before the rear axle, well past the cab. Instead, I got a hack job: no pipe extension, the dump sitting directly under the cab, and the exhaust hangers welded straight to my subframe like that was a good idea. So not only did they ignore the plan, they made sure I definitely won't pass inspection now--because it doesn't even clear the cab. Impressive.
