I wanted a certain tire, so I called around just to check prices. Wendell Tire beat the closest competitor by $135. Made an appointment. Installation was about an hour. When paying, it was about $20 cheaper than my quote. I was surprised because they could have charged the higher amount and I wouldn't have known the difference. I recommend calling them before you go anywhere else. Thanks for the great service.

After researching the issue, I discovered mobile mechanics and found James Wilson of Wilson's Mobile Mechanic. James immediately identified the problem over the phone and proved to be professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. As former HVAC business owners, my husband and I have worked with many contractors, and James is truly exceptional. He's also a veteran and father of three, and even recommended a better warranty that will save us money. He can come to your home, tow your vehicle, or work from his shop in Spring Hope, NC. He explains everything clearly and never makes you feel rushed. I highly recommend James to anyone looking for an honest, reliable mechanic who genuinely cares about his customers.

So after a bit of research we chose CarFix. Glad we did! We had to get the car towed as we knew it did not have any oil in it..we thought, great, this is going to cost a fortune so they towed it in looked at the car and gave us a call with what was wrong and the cost to fix. Very reasonable based on the research I did..they told us that it would be ready on Monday (they towed it on Friday) we asked that since it was there could they please give the a/c a charge, no problem. They called Friday evening and told me I need new rear brakes which we knew about so we decided to get that done too. Everyone there was so nice and very friendly I felt as though they were honest but most of all my car runs great! We will use these guys for all our future car needs. Highly recommend Thank you for a pleasant experience!!

My wife dropped the truck off at 8:00 AM while I was at work, yet I still found myself waiting past closing time to pick it up. The final bill exceeded what I would have expected to pay at a Chevrolet dealership for the same maintenance. While I understand quality work comes at a price, the value simply was not there for the amount charged. What left the strongest impression was sitting in the waiting area listening to the manager/owner conduct business calls that did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from a company handling expensive vehicles. Between the excessive cost, the lengthy turnaround time, and the overall customer experience, this is not a shop I would choose to use again. Read the comments!

Review of Affordable Auto Repair, LLC - U-Haul Experience…read more My daughter and I walked in to rent a U-Haul and as soon as we entered the doorbell dinged. We stood there waiting -- and waiting -- while we could literally see employees working inside the garage, yet we were completely ignored. After many minutes of being treated like we didn't exist, I knocked on the garage door. Still nothing. Eventually I opened the door myself and a man working on a car finally looked at us. When I mentioned that I wasn't sure if he knew we were out front, he tersely replied, "Yes, I knew. What can I do for you?" When I said we wanted to rent a U-Haul, he looked annoyed and said we would have to wait 30 minutes -- no apology, no explanation, just blatant irritation that we even asked for help. We left and went to another U-Haul location where we were treated respectfully and professionally. This experience was rude, unwelcoming, and completely unacceptable. I will never give my business to a place that treats customers like an inconvenience.
