Beyond upset with Discount Tire in Wilson,NC…read more I went today to have my new rims and tires installed and was turned away empty handed . I placed my order on 9/6/25 and payed my bill in full $1991.00 and was assured my new rims would be here in a week . It is now 9/29/25 and their counter person couldn't even find my order in their system. When I produced the paid receipt he went and looked finding nothing . Finally I see Quinn the counter person I placed the order with he tried to con me into a different set of rims . I stated I want what I ordered in the first place . I requested that they have them overnighted because it was totally their screw up . I was told they can't do that . So now I have to wait until they come in MAYBE Friday but probably Monday or Tuesday of next week . That timeframe is bad since I fly out Sunday for a 3 week work trip . I used Yelp to find the nearest tire shop who might be able to help me. I called Lugos tire & Road Service in Kenly NC and told him about the incident. He told me that he had a pair of similar size trailer tires that should work for me. I limped the trailer a few miles and arrived at the shop. A mechanic directed me to the area where they wanted to perform the work. They informed me of the price and that they only take cash or Zelle. The price was very fair and within seconds of my approval the trailer was lifted on a pair of jacks and both wheels were off. They mounted brand new tires and heavy duty valve stems, balanced the wheels and had them on the trailer. I was shocked to see them take the extra care to measure the lug pressure with a torque wrench. Lugos Tire sells new and used tires, repairs tires and offers road service. They were a godsend when I was in need. Amazing service and great people. I highly recommend you buy your next tires from Lugos.

On 15 December 2017 (Friday), my Jeep's transmission failed while driving north on I-95. USAA had…read moremy vehicle towed to Grayson's--being from out of town, I didn't know if this was good or bad, or what kind of service to expect. On top of that, I was 3 hours from home, so all of the coordination was over the phone. Fortunately, my transmission was under warranty. On Monday, 18 December, I called and explained to Brian why my Jeep was parked in their back lot. After taking my info and the Jasper case number, Brian did a lot of leg work working with Jasper to get the new transmission (plus, Jasper was relatively easy to work with). Despite being a week before Christmas, and letting me know they wouldn't likely have the Jeep ready until after Christmas, Brian and the guys a Grayson's had my Jeep ready to go Thursday afternoon. On top of that, when I contacted Jasper regarding reimbursement for labor cost (per the Jasper warranty), they told me Grayson's already sent them a copy of the work order, and there was nothing more for me to do. This was above and beyond what I expected--Grayson's was already paid in full before I left, but to go the extra step was greatly appreciated. Great work by Brian and the team. Thank you very much!
