Good service at the bar. Decent, but overpriced Pinot Grigio and nice Brisket Nachos. The real advantage is the internet service is better than at the airport: "camping" here is good..

Union Steak. Avoid, too narrow, not cooked properly, etc.

Underwhelmed and disappointed because this place has potential to be good. HopUnion is located inside the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. Best thing we had were the Brisket Nachos. Unfortunately, there was hardly any brisket on them. The brisket was good. Tell them not to skimp on the brisket. The Pub Pasta with Cajun cream sauce was the next best thing. Decent, nothing special though. Crack Sprouts with bacon, balsamic vinegar, side of sriracha aioli were okay. The sriracha aioli was good. The most disappointing thing we had was the Union Steak. Too narrow of a cut, not cooked properly, too expensive. If you go, just stick with the Brisket Nachos and some drinks.

    Everything on tap

There isn't much in this area, I had to stay close by and I was surprised at the lack of options outside of the airport! I found somewhere decent in this place. It's a hotel restaurant that has some decent selections. I got the pretzels and chicken wings. The pretzels were delicious and had a nice cheese sauce. The wings were served with sauce in the side, they were decent overall.

Hands down to Ms. Margie!!! SHE IS THE BEST!!!!

This place is great with reasonable prices. It's a true mom and pop diner. I miss places like this…read morein Hawaii. It's my second time dining here. We ordered the mini breakfast with one egg, two slices of bacon and hash browns $4.95. We also got the corned beef hash with two eggs, toast & jelly $8.50. For the side orders we got a bowl of grits $3.50 and three piece pancakes $6.95. We washed it down with a coffee $3.50 and orange juice $3.95. Everything was good. Honestly, it's kind of hard to mess up breakfast items. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. It was my third time having grits and it's still meh to me. It's kind of like oatmeal, but more grainy. My hubby added butter and sugar to it. They also sell sandwiches, burgers, salads and a whole bunch of dinner entrees.

It was no hello, hi, how are you... just takeout or dining in and when I mentioned dining in, she wasn't too thrilled. So we chose our booth and sat down. The waitress attitude at the beginning was not welcoming at all. To the point where my nephew that is 6yrs old asked, whats wrong with her. We placed our order and when the food arrived, all of us where excited. The food looked and tasted great. Hats off to the chef. We had a table full of pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drinks. By time we were ready to go, the waitress seemed in a better mood. Maybe she was having a rough start to her day. I commented on her earrings to make her smile. Although the experience wasn't the best initially, we all have "off" days and i wont hold it against them. The food is delicious and I will be back.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the Detroit area. First things first,…read morethey do not take reservations and they are always on a wait, that should tell you that they are good. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm on a weekday. It was a Friday though around 11am and, predictably, they had a wait. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. It was totally worth the wait. Their ambiance is cute- the hallway is clean, they have bench seating and they put you on the list to get a text, so you could sit in the car if you really wanted to; we did not. They could use a foyer though. It was 22 degrees and snowing so every time the door opened we were instantly freezing. The menu is massive so if you're trying this for the first time and you're from out of town, honey bring as many friends as you can so that you guys can order everything!! Theeeee must have that I tried were the smoked wings. I have never had wings that were smoked and then fried baby they were crispy. They were seasoned to the bone and were delicious. I almost ate them all and had no room for anything else. We also did the berry pancakes which could feed 3-5 people alone; second of all, they're not overly sweet, which is why I did berries and not the peaches or anything like that; and, third of all, the pancakes are the size of your face, but they are fluffy and melt in your mouth! These were easily top two pancakes I've had in my life. We also tried the shrimp and grits, also a 10/10. A generous portion of shrimp, not overcooked and the sauce was bomb. They do put bacon on it if you're not a bacon eater pay attention. I tasted around it anyways but yes, we also tried a vegetarian omelette with home fries. This was just a 7/10 but probably because we only ever tasted it reheated because we were too full to touch it. It was 3 entrees and an appetizer and was definitely enough food to feed a family of seven. This is a must visit place, so if you are in the area and have never been: make time!!!! And take some friends. Each plate is a day's worth of calories!

I was finally able to try this place and was very pleased!…read more This place is very unique and has some really delicious selections. Started with their version of beignets. Theirs are more like a fried croissant, which isn't bad at all. Theirs flavors added with the dipping sauce was great. Their breakfast portions are no complaint. They are most definitely shareable sizes. I ordered a southwest skillet (just some things out) and I loved it. The shrimp and grits were really good too. Service was nice and everyone in the restaurant worked as a team. It was also very clean in the inside. Prices were very reasonable as well. I will gladly give them my business again.

I knew that I had the biggest craving for a classic American cheeseburger and I ordered one with a salad on the side. It was juicy and greasy and had the best sauce. It was everything that I ever hoped for in a burger and more. I live in New York City and no matter where I have gone, the burgers seriously don't compare. I also love the classic 50's look that they have going on in the restaurant to give it the perfect classic throwback vibe. Our service was also quick, and the host was awesome too. I wish that I could have gone back for another cheeseburger but there just wasn't enough time. I know that when I'm back in Michigan that I would try really hard to make it here again.
