    Sheraton Cobb salad
    Don J.

I've eaten food from Cultivate on several stays, although I never eaten in their claustrophobic dining room. Everything on the menu can be ordered in the open and spacious bar area, which features granite countertops and several television screens. One of my favorite dishes is the Sheraton Cobb salad, crowned with a generous assortment of toppings such as bacon, eggs, avocado and tomatoes. The Michigan field greens salad is also very good, with plenty of sweet goodies mixed in, although the raspberry dressing is almost too sweet. The bruschetta, topped with ripe tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, never fails to satisfy as a hearty appetizer. There's usually a local craft beer on tap alongside some familiar offerings from Sam Adams. If you're in the mood for a splurge, the filet mignon is usually tender and flavorful, although sometimes a notch more well done than what you ordered. Overall, a decent hotel restaurant with excellent people watching.

    Best shrimp I have had!
    Zeina A.

Food was delicious I got the steak with the veggies and mash. It was probably one of the better steaks that I have had in a while. Chef Carter did a great job with our meals! The shrimp appetizer was also great, it was full of flavor and had such a unique twist with the bananas and some sort of citrusy pepper. Overall we really enjoyed our meal! The evening ended with a decadent chocolate cake with fresh raspberries. I would recommend stopping by if your in the mood for a good steak! The waiter on the other hand wasn't very attentive with clearing the table or refreshing our drinks but that's a hit or miss at any restaurant

good healthy choices.1appetizers and 2entrees. We ordered the blackened shrimp w Brussels sprouts &polenta. Iordered the Alaskan halibut

The salmon I got wasn't good at all, the mustard they decided to put on top of it was a bad idea and messed up the taste

Amazing to say the least, looked like not a lot of food but we are both so full with food left over! The restaurant itself is super cute and everyone is extremely friendly. The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

No choking was done here (thank god) but there were some things that jumped out to us. First is the setup, it looked like a place trying to be fancy when you walk in only to realize they give up on that when you get to the tables. Plain white walls with no seats at the high top tables near the bar and chairs in a disheveled manner, it looked like someone made a half-effort to clean the aftermath of a house party gone crazy for their parents about to arrive. Fortunately they sat us at a booth near the bar which thankfully was set up with silverware and such. As for service, we had an attentive server but she was handling the tables at the bar plus the bar itself and had to make all the drinks for people. Made me realize why I'm glad I'm no longer in the service industry with all the running around. My first glass of wine came quickly as did my dad's iced tea but refills took some time so yes, getting beverages or quick items took patience. I will give her an 'A' for effort as she ran faster than the Lions defenders trying to recover a fumble. Now the eats, we started with buffalo & sesame soy wings which my Dad loved but I thought eh, maybe it was the size of them and how some were crispy and some were tender. Afterwards, we got entrees: Me: Memphis BBQ Burger w/ Baked Potato and side of Broccoli Dad: Detroit Sliders w/ Onion Rings and side of Broccoli The burger was surprisingly tender and a perfect Medium and the BBQ sauce and crispy onions with bacon was a nice touch. Dad thought the sliders were ok; a bit bland. But he loved the onion rings as did I. The Broccoli was also tasty too; who says veggies have to be boring!? After dinner, we got a pecan pie for dessert (free dessert with check-in) and I added an irish coffee to help wash things down. The pie was excellent; the best part of the meal in my opinion. So the food is hit/miss but the food/drink prices are favorable. Plus the free dessert upon check-in is dope. Should I stay in this area again, I would probably pop back in for some cheap drinks and a quick bite.

We ordered the mini breakfast with one egg, two slices of bacon and hash browns $4.95. We also got the corned beef hash with two eggs, toast & jelly $8.50. For the side orders we got a bowl of grits $3.50 and three piece pancakes $6.95. We washed it down with a coffee $3.50 and orange juice $3.95. Everything was good. Honestly, it's kind of hard to mess up breakfast items. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. It was my third time having grits and it's still meh to me. It's kind of like oatmeal, but more grainy. My hubby added butter and sugar to it. They also sell sandwiches, burgers, salads and a whole bunch of dinner entrees.

It was no hello, hi, how are you... just takeout or dining in and when I mentioned dining in, she wasn't too thrilled. So we chose our booth and sat down. The waitress attitude at the beginning was not welcoming at all. To the point where my nephew that is 6yrs old asked, whats wrong with her. We placed our order and when the food arrived, all of us where excited. The food looked and tasted great. Hats off to the chef. We had a table full of pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drinks. By time we were ready to go, the waitress seemed in a better mood. Maybe she was having a rough start to her day. I commented on her earrings to make her smile. Although the experience wasn't the best initially, we all have "off" days and i wont hold it against them. The food is delicious and I will be back.
