I just wanted to make this review to post their menu on the maps app and Yelp. Decent place, always pretty clean, workers need more pay IMO so they can work better. 3.8/5

Blueberry pancakes, sausage and bacon, side of hash and cheesy scrambled eggs

Solid breakfast spot right by the airport. Stopped here with my sister after my flight into the city. We got there fairly early, a little after 8 am and it wasn't busy at all. We could sit where we wanted and our waitress brought out the menus shortly after. They have an extensive menu with lots of breakfast staples. My sister and I both had the blueberry pancakes with a side of meat and we got a plate of their hash browns to share. The portions were huge!! I couldn't even finish my pancakes. They were fluffy and full of blueberries. The sausage and bacon we had was crisp and the hash browns were good. It was my first time eating them in the style they made them. They seemed more like scalloped potatoes. The only reason I knocked off a star was I used the bathroom and there was no soap in the dispenser. Thank God I had my hand sanitizer with me, but not a bad option for breakfast.

    Big Breakfast.

This restaurant is a pretty good breakfast joint very close to the airport. I flew into Detroit on a red eye flight and was starving. After waiting for my parents to arrive 2 hours after me, we agreed that we were all hungry and wanted to eat ASAP. I did a quick search on Yelp and found this place just outside of the airport. We parked, walked inside, and got seated immediately. After looking at the menu for a short period of time, we all decided to order the same thing -- the Big Breakfast. The deets: - Big Breakfast: It's actually a lot of food, hence the name Big Breakfast. It was 3 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pieces of ham, 2 sausage links, hashbrowns, and 2 pieces of toast. Everything was good and tasted as it should. The hashbrowns were the biggest part of the meal. Service was alright, not bad but not amazing. There was plenty of parking and the place was easy to find. This place is a perfect pit stop for those flying in/out!

    Big breakfast!

Great, no frills breakfast spot! Service is ok but if you are looking for a warm meal either coming or leaving the airport, this definitely hits the spot!

Stopped in to blow some time because I was way too early to get to the airport yet but had already checked out of the hotel. Clean and the staff was very friendly. I had the coney with no onions and added cheese. Tons of chili on it. I enjoyed and may stop by here again when I'm in town.

Awesome thank you We loved the food . Want to come back. Already miss the hot dog. Service is good too.

    Day old re-cooked bacon

Service was horrible. Order for a group of 5 and everything was horrible..they gave us day old bacon and sausage that were reheated

Ate here for the first time. Myself and my two friends all ordered food that included scrambled eggs. Two of us opted for American cheese. We received our food and immediately stated that the cheese smelled... different. I tried my eggs & the smell coming from the cheese was so nauseating that I didn't touch the eggs (I posted a picture and from that photo I had less than one bite). My friend complained that his cheese smelled weird, too. He figured maybe it was just what they cooked on and proceeded to finish his breakfast. Later on that evening he complained of stomach pain. Besides an iced tea, we hadn't had anything else to eat. He spent the next 5 hours in the bathroom throwing up/experiencing diarrhea. The next day was the same for me. My other friend who did not have cheese on her eggs has not experienced any ill effects. As I write this I'm literally sitting on my bathroom floor. If you have food in your establishment that's going bad, toss it out. Don't serve it to customers. I would recommend to anyone eating here in the future to ask for expiration dates. Or to just avoid this place altogether.

¡Muy bien! I have been here before, but today was my 1st check-in. After a long work day, I didn't feel like fighting traffic during rush hour, so I stopped for supper. A Mexican Omelette supper. Service was excellent, the food was excellent, the prices were excellent. I walked out the door totally satisfied. My Mexican Omelette was oh-so-good! The hash browns were delicious. People come from all over the USA to eat here, some even come from foreign countries! That's how good the food is! I highly recommend this Mom-n-Pop diner!

This is hands down one the best coney islands in the area. Food is on point the people are friendly and the service is amazing. Will definitely be back!

I'll eat here, but not as often as i would if they polished up their menu/execution. The chicken dishes, all of them, are terrible. They advertise "tender chicken cut into slices," but if you look at any of the pics on here, it's all the same - tiny, little chicken bits, dry and overcooked. The more obscure dishes are the way to go. They fail hard on the basics, but hit home runs on their more unheard of menu items. If you've never heard of something, but it sounds good - that's what you should order here. Chicken lemon rice: 3/10 Not enough chicken, lemon tastes artificial and weird, soup is bland. I've had better CLR at most any coney island. Chicken Gyro: 3/10 Chicken was dry, the orzo was dry and overcooked, tziki sauce was thick and lacked flavor. Plenty of chicken... I would have rather had less chicken, cooked better. I haven't seen their chicken kabob, but it seems like this place uses the thick part of their breast for the kabobs, and uses the scraps bits for all of their other dishes. Grape Leaves: 7/10 Good flavor, good sauce... wish the CLR soup tasted as good as the sauce from the grape leaves. Stifado: 9/10 Excellent dish. Good amount of beef, great flavor, nice stew. This is the dish that I would come back for. Bread basket: Bread: 4/10 - they serve the bread ice cold. Olive oil: 9/10 - excellent flavor, super light, nice lemon zest Service: 8.5/10 - good job. They had one guy for all 8 or so tables, but did he did a good job covering them. The busser/assistant did a good job at keeping our waters and bread full, but he tries to carry too much, and it causes a big distraction (glasses clunking, nearly falling over, re-stacking)... sometimes two trips is better than one... He also says "of course" (pet peeve) when someone says "thank you." Perhaps I'm weird, but I find that terribly dismissive, and off-putting.

When we walked in, I was impressed by how clean, well lit, modern, and airy the place was. Large windows and cute green tabletop plants really warm up the place but the neutral gray tone made it all super chic! This sounds silly but I knew I loved this place the moment I took a sip of my ginger ale. It tasted like it had a splash of vanilla in it. It was super refreshing and delicious. The menu has so much I wanted to try it all. Everything was very reasonably priced! Wraps for under $10! My husband and I opted for the mezza plate for two so we could try everything. Again, super reasonably priced meal. It would definitely feed three people, we took leftovers home. I love how they brought out the cold plate first before the hot plate so that we could munch quickly bc we were so hungry. The tabbouli was delicious. So was the chicken. The pickled vegetables were a great palette cleanser. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend everyone to come here. Even the music was fun! We are definitely coming back.

I lived in Astoria for a couple of years, and could walk to some great Greek restaurants. But I've never had anything like this. First, the dolmas were hard and dry. I've always had them quite wet, basically marinated, and these were bone dry. No ground meat was detectable. The taramousalata was just...flavorless pink fluff. It wasn't even salty! And we were served a basket of bread that was probably the highlight of the meal, in that it was actually pretty good bread -- but it wasn't pita! I've never not been served pita bread with mezze dips. They were out of the grilled octopus, but suggested the cold octopus instead?? I'm not sure why, but at least that was also edible. The retsina I was brought not only had an off chemical taste (and I love a good, piney, resin-y retsina), but it tasted very watered down. My friend said his spanakotiropeta was OK, at least, although he agreed with me on the rest, which is a shame, because I LOVE taramousalata, and I was excited for him to try it.
