Incredible Big Boy (that I learned is a Southfield, Michigan chain and the Bob's Big Boy in LA is a different entity, look both up on Wikipedia) that has a full and nutritious salad and soup bar, a great menu with southern fried chicken and hamburgers, a very cool and spacious interior dining environment and spectacular service that is exceptional, highly attentive and periodically checks in on you. An awesome dining experience all for very reasonable prices, and this particular store is very close to the airport! Highly recommended!

Big Boy's is the business!! Big Boy's Burger is reason there's a Big Mac. The Big Boy Burger is legendary, and it tastes as it did when I was kid. 5-star Burger served with some crinkle fries, so good!! Service is awesome, my burger came out hot from the grill, fries the same hot from the fryer. I never have dessert, but when in Rome(ulus) do as Romans do. This dessert was so-good! I forgot how wonderful Big Boy's Hot Fudge tasted. Do your tastebuds a favor and order desert. ***this place Flight Attendant approved***

Big Boy Restaurants have been around forever. I remember eating at them as a child. This was my first time inside one in a few decades. And I regret the decision I made tonight to try it again. The service was ok. The place was clean. That is the reason for the 2 stars. And that is where it ends for me. I ordered the soup appetizer (chili), and that and the soda were all that I could eat or drink. The turkey dinner was completely inedible. The veggies tasted like they were right from the freezer bag and waved over some warm water. The mashed potatoes and the turkey had a very strange flavor, and were covered in a gravy that was so salty I couldn't stand it. I will not ever go back to this location again. And I doubt I will make the choice to eat at other locations based on this experience.

We were seated immediately upon entering. The shake was quite delicious! Overall, the meal I ordered was not tasty at all. Honestly, it looked really greasy and once I bit into the sandwich, it didn't have any taste whatsoever despite their being spicy Mayo on the sandwich. I also removed the pickles. I ended up having a couple bites of my friend's patty melt which was okay.

I've eaten here twice. The food is ok and the burgers have a lot of bread with thin Pattie's. The salad was iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and cheddar cheese. Salad dressings were limited. This is an ok place to eat not bad but not anything special either.

We ordered the mini breakfast with one egg, two slices of bacon and hash browns $4.95. We also got the corned beef hash with two eggs, toast & jelly $8.50. For the side orders we got a bowl of grits $3.50 and three piece pancakes $6.95. We washed it down with a coffee $3.50 and orange juice $3.95. Everything was good. Honestly, it's kind of hard to mess up breakfast items. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. It was my third time having grits and it's still meh to me. It's kind of like oatmeal, but more grainy. My hubby added butter and sugar to it. They also sell sandwiches, burgers, salads and a whole bunch of dinner entrees.

It was no hello, hi, how are you... just takeout or dining in and when I mentioned dining in, she wasn't too thrilled. So we chose our booth and sat down. The waitress attitude at the beginning was not welcoming at all. To the point where my nephew that is 6yrs old asked, whats wrong with her. We placed our order and when the food arrived, all of us where excited. The food looked and tasted great. Hats off to the chef. We had a table full of pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drinks. By time we were ready to go, the waitress seemed in a better mood. Maybe she was having a rough start to her day. I commented on her earrings to make her smile. Although the experience wasn't the best initially, we all have "off" days and i wont hold it against them. The food is delicious and I will be back.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the Detroit area. First things first,…read morethey do not take reservations and they are always on a wait, that should tell you that they are good. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm on a weekday. It was a Friday though around 11am and, predictably, they had a wait. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. It was totally worth the wait. Their ambiance is cute- the hallway is clean, they have bench seating and they put you on the list to get a text, so you could sit in the car if you really wanted to; we did not. They could use a foyer though. It was 22 degrees and snowing so every time the door opened we were instantly freezing. The menu is massive so if you're trying this for the first time and you're from out of town, honey bring as many friends as you can so that you guys can order everything!! Theeeee must have that I tried were the smoked wings. I have never had wings that were smoked and then fried baby they were crispy. They were seasoned to the bone and were delicious. I almost ate them all and had no room for anything else. We also did the berry pancakes which could feed 3-5 people alone; second of all, they're not overly sweet, which is why I did berries and not the peaches or anything like that; and, third of all, the pancakes are the size of your face, but they are fluffy and melt in your mouth! These were easily top two pancakes I've had in my life. We also tried the shrimp and grits, also a 10/10. A generous portion of shrimp, not overcooked and the sauce was bomb. They do put bacon on it if you're not a bacon eater pay attention. I tasted around it anyways but yes, we also tried a vegetarian omelette with home fries. This was just a 7/10 but probably because we only ever tasted it reheated because we were too full to touch it. It was 3 entrees and an appetizer and was definitely enough food to feed a family of seven. This is a must visit place, so if you are in the area and have never been: make time!!!! And take some friends. Each plate is a day's worth of calories!

I usually don't like to bring a group somewhere that doesn't take reservations but I took a chance on this place and happy I did. I ordered the berry pancakes and they were amazing. I don't like things to be too sweet first thing in am so I ordered without the cream cheese frosting and just added syrup which was perfect amount of sweetness. The portion was so huge I could only eat 1/4 of it. Everything else that was ordered around the table looked amazing and also had very generous portions.

The food was great but didn't have a phenomenal taste for the price point it's at. I ordered the Makanek Sausage Hash and a hot matcha latte. The matcha latte was great and had the right ratio of milk to matcha (also wasn't too sweet). The hash was delicious and the presentation was incredible but unfortunately, it was over spiced for my liking. I could taste freshly crushed black pepper in every bite and it over powered the other flavors of the dish. At a higher price point, I'd expect the dish to have a better combo of flavors.
