Just a terrible experience. Do not order ever from Door dash. They cannot get it right. Incorrect food and a staff that couldn't care less. This is a multiple time mistake that I called to confirm order directly after placing. Funny how they want to claim local pride but could not care less when they mess up. Waitress that "helped" was just the worst and escalated a poor experience. I have been here over 20 years and ate at this restaurant over 45 times. Never again. Ordered a Mexican. Omelette from Zorbas in flat rock. It's my go to. Today it was brought out covered in chili n shredded cheese all on top. Never ever ever had it served like this before out of the many times I've ordered it. I asked waitress she stated it did. Zorba's has decent food however their service is terrible. Last order I placed, they somehow lost the ticket so I had to wait 40 minutes for a veggie omelet. Today, I decided to give them another try. I sat down and the waitress asked what I wanted to drink. She then proceeded to take care of another customer who came in after me. She got their beverages and took their order and ignored me. I sat for a couple more minutes before leaving. Terrible service. Will never spend my money there. read more

Very disappointing!! The only thing I can say is that I will not be going back for a carry out or dining in. Our food was very subpar and the server had no interest in anything other than watching her male co-worker talk and clean the counters. Wanted to go to Leo's Coney Island but it was closed so we ended up down the street at Zorba's. We could sit where we wanted and picked a booth against the wall. As soon as we sat down, 4 large gnats came out from behind the ketchup and started circling the table so we got up and moved to another booth across the room. Several flies were landing on our table and food the entire time. The floor hadn't been swept all day and it wasn't even close to clean in there. Lost our appetite but still paid for our food. When I arrived there were approximately 20 customers on a Friday morning around 8:30. Service was great; I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I was told to sit wherever I chose. There were two waitresses on hand. Staff was very attentive and all neat in appearance. Both wait staff had on Santa hats and there were stocking hung up on one of the walls to reflect the Christmas season. My meal arrived in around 10 minutes. During my visit my coffee was offered to be refilled four times. The food was nicely arranged on my plate. The eggs came cooked as ordered (over-medium) Whites thoroughly cooked, yolks still runny when the outside is pierced. Fried Potatoes were properly browned on the outside and fully cooked through the middle. My four pieces of mahogany colored bacon was crisp, and crust-like that crumbles when you bite into it. The buttered wheat toast was brown on the edges with perfect toaster lines branded across the middle. Coffee was average but plentiful. Restroom was clean & stocked properly. I will return for other meals Atmosphere Zorbas is located at end of the Telview Plaza mall on the corner of Telegraph and Matilda. There are an adequate number of tables and booths. There seems an overall 50s style theme photos with of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis which worked with the overall black & white palette of the floor, walls and furnishings. You are greeted at the door and given a choice of seating. Noise Level Fairly quiet at this time for a neighborhood place Meal Breakfast Special: Early Bird Special. Typically this place is good. Today July 4th not so much. Food was good but the server should be careful what she says in a Family restaurant. Server "raspy voice" asked my husband and I if we liked golf we said yes. She proceeded to tell us a disgusting joke, don't get me wrong we like jokes but this was totally inappropriate Especially when we don't know her. She also was counting her dollar bills right next to full food plates and stuck her fingers in the lemons..wash your hands lady. Also women's restroom completely out of toilet paper. You can easily see into the kitchen from the front desk and I could see that not a single cook was wearing a mask either. I have been going there for AT LEAST 13 years and my deceased girlfriend Katy (RIP 2015) and I used to be regulars here all the time. We loved smoking a bunch of weed and coming to Zorba's to indulge in the munchies. My top two items on the menu are the bacon cheeseburger w/ chili cheese fries and the chicken wrap. I honestly can't even say one bad thing about Zorba's. They're also incredibly cheap for the amount of food you get. I am originally from the metro Detroit area and the coney dog was good enough to scratch the nostalgic itch, but it was not spectacular. My wife got breakfast and it was pretty good, though they did cook the bacon perfectly crispy for her which can be a challenge. My only real complain is the length of time to get served. We were one of only 3 tables in the restaurant but it still took at least 15 minutes until someone came over to take out order. My family and I order from this Coney Island all the time and this is probably the worst experience I've had with them. My mom had ordered for a pickup order and she ordered a veggie pita and fries for myself...I got to my parents and they forgot my fries and had burnt my moms bacon. I called back to see if I could come and get my fries and they said I had never ordered them and the woman on the phone gave me a hard time. I spoke with a manager and she offered to give me the fries for free and was very respectful and nice. I then go back up there and there were a few women standing around and didn't offer to help me until a man came up and helped me and he apologized and was very nice. I paid for the fries and left but when I got home..I went to eat my pita and I'm a vegetarian and there was meat in the pita. I was unsatisfied with my food this time around. read more

A lot nicer than the other Zorba's on Fort St. Staff is pretty good, food is a bit better than the average coney. The breakfasts are good and cheap as a coney should be. The only gripe is they don't have the spinach pie they have at the other one. I love that stuff but not enough to go to the Fort St. dive. read more
