My granddaughter and I got doordash from this restaurant. I wanted to start my review with that information because I think our experience would have been different had we actually ate in. My granddaughter enjoyed her pancakes. I ordered the Western omelette and it was decent. I was not a fan of the hash browns. The food was still warm when in a ride so I don't think it's that they had gotten cold on the way over. We live right down the street. They were bland and undercooked. As we got takeout. I cannot speak to the service or the ambience of the place. However, if you're going to try this Coney Island, I recommend eating in. read more

I was really disappointed with my experience at Zorba's. The wait time was extremely long i waited over 1 hour for my food which is extremely long considering we only ordered two breakfast meals and drinks. On top of that, our total came to around $40 for what should have been about $22 worth of food and drinks, which felt overpriced for the amount and quality we received. To make matters worse, I believe I got food poisoning after eating there. I started feeling sick shortly after which has happened everytime i have ate there recently, which made the experience even more frustrating. They have great coneys and I was pumped to make it back. The place was GROSS this time. I sat near the entrance by a window and there were multiple dead flies, junk on the floor, sticky tables, and grime all over. Not good. The waitress we had was very nice but she was either bad at her job or strung out on something. She comes up to take our order with her notepad... one of the people at our table goes "I'll get a coney with no mustard" and she replies "what do you want on it?" So I ordered carryout and picked up in drive thru window signed for order which was $23.59 for 2 chicken strip dinners for the kids .didn't think anything of it the next morning I get a update on my Venmo which was $6 higher than what I thought I was paying . Seems someone at Zorba's decided to change my receipt because they thought it was a 6 not a zero so they took it up on themselves to add themselves a $6.00 tip . So I called when I found out about and manager said to text her , she would look into it ,she text me back and sent me a copy of my receipt which you can clearly see is altered with 2 different colored inks but she says is that your signature ?? Dragged myself out of bed for breakfast lunch special on Memorial Day. Had to repeat order twice, got tbt number two. Eggs tasted like meat Grits were beyond disgusting. Zero flavor. This isn't the Zorba's it used to be. The new staff is rude. I was overcharged by $3. When I brought it to the manager's attention, it was fixed but with attitude. Give your bill a good look over before you pay. They write them very sloppy and they aren't itemized well. Watch the price. It's a shame they lost a customer. read more

Our company (Grosse Ile Lawn Sprinkler & Fertilizing) ordered breakfast to go from Zorba's and impressed is an understatement. We ordered the full breakfast smorgasbord for about 15 people and they went above and beyond. Food was ready on time, piping hot, and everything tasted delicious. They even went as far as to put all the dishes in family style serving trays and supplied all of the condiments. We didn't know that Zorba's was even an option for catering services and we cannot describe how happy we were. Definitely will recommend as well as return in the future. Great job! read more

Friendly staff. Very Inexpensive. Great food! The Mexican omelette topped with chili is on pointThe coffee is also decent, not as water-downed as you'd expect from a restaurant. My only complaint is that I wish the floors were vacuumed/swept more often. I realize it gets pretty busy and the foot traffic may make it difficult to sweep at times but there is nothing pleasant about feeling crumbs under your shoes. But over all a great place. The Coney sauce was pretty good, maybe best I've had besides Lafayette but the chili was put on so sloppy I couldn't pick it up to eat it, had to use knife and fork. The loose meat was ok, not a big fan of the seasoning they used, but it wasn't bad. The chili cheese fries were good, the fries were actually cooked long enough to hold up to the chili and cheese. I love this Coney Island. They have the best chicken Greek salad you can find. My boyfriend orders a chili cheese omelet and pancakes every time we visit. It's his favorite meal. Nothing like coming here between the hours of 1-5am and stuffing your face til you can't anymore lol. Took some pics of the menu because I noticed there weren't any on here. Only been here twice so far but servers have always been really sweet and attentive and food comes out hot and delicious. The cook does an amazing job (and he's usually by himself as far as I know!!) Service was great I loved our waitress and even the other people in the restaurant were friendly and sociable. I ordered a breakfast combo with French toast, eggs and bacon. The bacon came overly cooked, borderline burnt which I was unhappy about. But the French toast and eggs were tasty. Soon after eating here I experienced the worst food poisoning ever. You will probably see alot of people from the area since they all know that this is the place to go. They have drive thru take out which is so convenient. This place doesn't try to be anything that it is not. Here's my take on Zorba's: late-night nourishment. I've been here at strange hours of the day/night and the food is consistently good.
