    Lavander Latte

One of if not the best breakfast (brunch) spots. If you've never been it is a must. Always get the grits and homemade lattes.

    Makanek Sausage Hash
    Maham S.

I went here after a long time, and the first time since they switched ownership. The restaurant vibe it still the same (which I love) and the staff were very friendly. The food was great but didn't have a phenomenal taste for the price point it's at. I ordered the Makanek Sausage Hash and a hot matcha latte. The matcha latte was great and had the right ratio of milk to matcha (also wasn't too sweet). The hash was delicious and the presentation was incredible but unfortunately, it was over spiced for my liking. I could taste freshly crushed black pepper in every bite and it over powered the other flavors of the dish. At a higher price point, I'd expect the dish to have a better combo of flavors. Definitely still recommend this spot but it's not the same as I remember it!

We spent some time in Downtown Dearborn and decided to end it with delicious brunch! There are so many amazing restaurants in Dearborn but this has been on my list for a while. It's a very cute restaurant and it was busy, but not crazy. I would imagine in a weekend that it probably has a wait though. We decided to split breakfast and it's a darn good thing we did! The portion size was absurdly large. Even with two of us eating we barely made a dent in it. We chose the strawberry Shortcake waffles. They were INCREDIBLE! I bet my blood sugar was in the 300s after this. Haha. They don't serve alcohol but they do have a variety of coffee drinks and smoothies. The service was great and we would definitely go back!

I loved this brunch! Shakshuka was mildly spiced with perfectly cooked eggs, served with sourdough. The Biscoff latte is sweet but a great morning treat. Our server was nice and helpful - she made us feel welcome. Really cute decor, too!

My friends and I were here for a concert and decided to get brunch in the morning and this is where we came. The place is a very, very cute! The staff was nice, but I will admit our server was a little slow to get to us and get items to us. I got the steak and eggs. I don't eat eggs so I got double potatoes. It was tasty but my steak was a little over what I wanted being a little bland. I also was kind of upset because I wanted more chimichurri and I didn't realize until after I got my bill at for a little Ramekin. It was three dollars. I wish my server would have made that known. The strawberry shortcake was delicious my friends and I all shared it . I'm very picky about my coffee, but their coffee is very much to my strength level. Overall, my friends and I are ever back in Detroit. We will definitely visit this place again.

Lovely atmosphere, a menu with high quality and flavorful ingredients, all served up with a slight side of attitude in the best, most efficient way possible. A great option for a relatively quick and healthy lunch, with huge portions and some crowd pleasing options. I will definitely be back.

Large, imaginative menu. Some of the dishes looked a little more exciting on the menu and on the plate than they tasted, but they were creative and they get style points for that. The short rib hash was as delicious as it sounds. The coffee options were wide-ranging and perfectly executed. The prices are comparatively high, just know that going in. Service has been wonderful on both visits, attentive and present but never pushy. A great brunch experience.

We came here today for brunch at 12:50. We originally planned to eat elsewhere, but the wait was over an hour. Popped in here for a coffee, but decided to stay for food because there was plenty of space and instant seating. Awesome! I ordered the Salted Caramel Corn Latte. We waited at least a half hour for that to come (The photo of the latte was taken at 1:36). It was a nice flavor, I did not finish it as the flavor seemed highly concentrated the lower the cup got, may have benefited from a stir up on my part. The waitress didn't care to check in on us, so we could not even place the food order. The couple next to us sat down just after we did, and they were already half done EATING before our waitress (different women than the people next to us) even took our order. I ordered pancakes and the boyfriend ordered the 3 eggs any style. My pancakes arrived with no syrup. I waited twenty(!) minutes before the waitress came to check on us so I could ask for syrup. We never saw her anywhere and had even asked the attentive waitress from the neighboring table for some. The pancakes were ok, but also a tad flavorless, I'd probably go with something else next time. The 3 eggs any style came correctly, though the pile of eggs didn't really seem like 3 eggs worth? We finished up and the bus boy took our dishes and still the waitress didnt come back. The other server ended up saying she'd let ours know we wanted to hit to road. We left at 2:25. The vibe of the restaurant was nice, loved the atmosphere! If we had a more attentive server, I'm sure the review would have been more than a 3!

    Matcha Latte

Went here for brunch and really enjoyed the ambiance -- the interior is beautiful and definitely Instagram-worthy. The service was also great, very friendly and attentive. I ordered the matcha latte, which was just okay. The egg and cheese croissant was also pretty average -- nothing particularly memorable. The potatoes were a bit disappointing, as they were overly oily and felt like they were almost drowning in it. Overall, it's a lovely spot for pictures and catching up with friends. I might come back to try something else on the menu, but I probably wouldn't order the same items again.

went here last month with the fam and everyone loved it!!! it was so hard to choose what to get. there are many great options on the menu. everything is very fresh. I ordered lox toast, it was thebest lox toast i've ever had, i'm drooling thinking about it right now! my bf loved his mushroom french omelette, and we all enjoyed the homemade jam as well. service was quick and friendly! the aesthetic on the inside is beautiful. restaurant is clean. my lucky charms matcha latte was so delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Beet & Arugula Salad with chicken

Came here again recently for lunch after a work meeting. The space is as beautiful as ever, and I appreciate the variety the menu has here. I had a grilled chicken salad and iced coffee - both were very good and filling! Service was a bit slow and parking can be tough in the area, but a great spot for dining when you have some time!

UPDATE: I went back here for brunch and tried the breakfast burrito, it was delicious. However, service was much slower this time and nobody had come to our table to introduce themselves as our server for a good 10-15 minutes. Hopefully this was just a one time mishap! I still enjoyed the lattes, breakfast, and atmosphere but with the price it does stay reserved for a special brunch occasion.

Dellah is located on a mixed residential and commercial street with plenty of parking nearby. We chose to eat lunch here in June 2026 since it wasn't too far from our hotel and we saw that they had outdoor seating - important since we had my little dog with us. The place was very busy but since we were eating outside, we had no wait and we were waited upon promptly. There are a LOT of American choices on here (like sugary pancakes) but a third of the menu consists of Yemeni food. I got a traditional Yemeni tea ($4.50) and my boyfriend sipped on a smooth matcha latte ($6.50). We had a big breakfast that morning, so we chose to just share the lahm sighar ($20), which comes with a piece of khuba bread, and also order an additional khuba bread ($2). About 15 minutes later, our food was ready and after taking the necessary pictures, we dug in! Needless to say, the extra bread was not necessary. I don't know what we were thinking but we assumed a piece of khuba was small. Nope! Each piece is the size of my 17-inch computer. Anyway, we used bits of the khuba as silverware to pick up the deliciously tender lahm sighar, something I saw others do when I went inside to use the bathroom and nosily looked around. I must mention that the BATHROOM HAS A BIDET. I REPEAT. BATHROOM HAS A BIDET!!!! Hehe :) seeing it just made me happy lol. So anyway, I saw that the coffee section of Dellah is set up inside like a traditional coffee shop where you can grab and go some coffee, tea, and pastries if you'd like. I did grab my bf, dog, and I some water from the coffee counter, which is self-service. We didn't leave a crumb behind and loved our food here. I would happily come back again! There is a 3% card surcharge fee so I paid the bill with cash, which came out to about 45 dollars after tax and tip. A little pricey, thanks to our expensive drinks, but so yummy!

This was an awful table to be at in here. We hardly had elbow room or table space, especially after the giant platter sized bread was out with all of the breakfast/ brunch items for half of the table. I ordered the Fazolia. Everyone else got omelets, burgers or wrap items. Yes, a couple of team members weren't keen on ordering Fasolia with scrambled eggs, large Greek salad, 2 lahm sighar (one with potato and one quit eggs), 2 smashed burger, Yemeni scrambled eggs, chicken fajita, Greek skillet, southwest skillet, chicken wrap, coffee, tea without milk, Turkish coffee, mint lemonade refresher. Every team member said their food was good. The scrambled eggs are a tad runny and looked a bit puréed. The fasolia has good flavor and even better with some heat. It came out piping hot. Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.

Better to not sit across a big giant table with a bunch of strangers. Ordered the Mushroom Swiss omelet with hash brown and white toast. I wanted to order the ranchero Benedict, but I am not allowed to swap out the English muffin for GF bread. Ordered the Mexicali burrito with turkey sausage and turkey bacon instead of brisket and 4 orders of beignet. $77.38 Had to ask for the toast part way into our meal. The hash browns were cold. Burrito fell apart instantly. Too hard to pick up. Tasted okay overall. Sauce on the top of burritos, made the tortilla wilted and unmanageable to pick-up. The mushroom Swiss was decent, white toast too. Potatoes slices and hash browns were okay. Service and food is average, needs some improvements for sure. The to go beignets were definitely not out in 5 minutes, took over 10 minutes. The beignets were by far the best part of the meal. Dough was light, airy, outside was crispy, yet chewy. The cream cheese dip was such a good pair.

For example, I get the "Hearty" breakfast most of the time and it comes with eggs, meat, pancakes, potatoes and toast, and it really highlights what is this place's strength. Eggs: I get mine scrambled and have a nice selection of hot sauce to choose from. Meat: I appreciate that they offer turkey sausage since I don't eat beef or pork, but my wife loves their bacon if that's your thing. Pancakes: quality varies the most here as they are sometimes a little pale (but still good) but more often the idyllic golden one expects when ordering. Potatoes: lots of variety here, too, as my home fries come in different sized cuts with seasoning ranging from none to "no need for salt or pepper?" Toast: Again, wide variety of choices, I go with sourdough most often If this sounds like a lot of food, there are lots of other options that make it appealing to smaller appetites.
