It was just ok ... I had the French toast and truly I think it's over priced but that's everywhere now. The service was really attentive and nice, however did not give us the paper receipt so it was shady that it already included a tip and we didn't know. Ambiance was nice however there was two doors and every time both open a rush of cold air came in. Beauty place for beautiful pictures. Mocktails were great In my opinion it's a place for celebrations and a yearly visit and no more.

I love brunch places. Growing up they were not very common unless you went to a high end restaurant or hotel that offered it. In recent years I noticed more places offering brunch menus, and I'm all for it. I recently went to Dearborn one morning to visit my cousin and we both felt like grabbing a bite. After some searching, I found KBH and immediately knew I had to try this menu. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside, so A+ for that. The staff is very nice, but it was not that busy when we came and I felt like it took longer than necessary just to get our water and warm beverages. Beyond that the food we got was amazing!!! They started us out with some flat bread and an assortment that included olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and yogurt. We did not ask for this, so it likely comes standard with most meals I assume. My cousin got the eggplant bruschetta from the American portion of the menu and I got the kebda (lamb liver) from the Yemeni side. We shared everything together and had no complaints whatsoever. This is some of the best prepared liver I've ever had, which is not easy to make because liver can have an off-putting texture if not properly sliced and cooked. The eggplant was also full of flavor with a lovely texture when consumed with the sourdough bread. You are also missing out if you don't get one of their specialty coffees or teas. Two thumbs up from us!

This place has such a nice ambiance for brunch! There was a minor mishap with a different party being seated at the table we were next up to have, but they quickly seated us at another table. Service was efficient and the food came out nice and hot. The food was so delicious and flavorful, my favorite was the lahm soghar. It is served with a tanoor bread that pairs so well together. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered and are looking forward to our next visit here!

The ambience here is really nice, people were in and out, GREAT food, service was fantastic, our server was very helpful in suggesting foods n drinks, the only thing I really had an issue with was there was only 1 young lady making drinks (cocktails) which it took a bit to get our drinks but definitely worth the wait but still! Otherwise, I would definitely come back and there was more than enuff food to take home!! Really enjoyed ourselves

The food was fabulous. They brought a complementary starter which was lovely. We began with the Pressed Caprese which was so flavorful. My husband had the Lamb Soghar and he loved it, and I had the Karam Shakshuka which was amazing!! Their flatbread was a wonderful accompaniment. AND, the Blueberry Mojito Mocktail - I have no words. Best ever. Our server was so precious - brand new and delightful. Didn't miss one thing and answered every questioned we had like an old pro! The decor is perfect. Just right.

The service was really good throughout our entire visit from the host seating is to the sever bringing and recommending great drink suggestions. They did have a couple vegan options I got seasoned potatoes and bread . Most options sound tasty for non vegans go for it .

We all know the ambience of this place is gorgeous. It has a welcoming and bright aesthetic. Customer service was great although it seems as if they are in need of more help to keep things in a timely fashion. Firstly , the mocktail was a hit. This is why we came to try this place out because a friend was celebrating an anniversary of no drinking . We both had the mojito , it was completely alcohol free (some places still have small amounts of alcohol in the mocktails). The mint was great and the garnishes were spot on. The food was perfect. I have an extensive pallet and it's sometimes tough to please me. The food came out fairly quickly and they have a starter bread plate and veggies with a yogurt based sauce and oil that was nice and fresh. We ordered Biscoff French Toast, Foul, and Falafel Bowl. The French toast was perfect ! I'm usually a savory person but the French toast was worth every bit of sweetness. The Foul was my favorite ! It has a bit of a kick but it's loaded with beans and veggies. I love falafels but I'm a tough critic , there was a bit too tough , as if they fried it hard. I have sensitive teeth and it was tough chewing through the whole meal. I loved everything else in the bowl however the falafel preparation made it a bit less enjoyable but it was still good. The checkout process is rather quick and simple and that's always a plus! Also , the restrooms are gorgeous. Perfect for pics ;)

Spent Easter Brunch here for the first time. The entire experience was perfect with the sun shining into the restaurant. The menu is very well thought out with a mix of authentic Yemen dishes and American influenced dishes. The mocktails are good and worth trying. The coffee is great too but the selection is small since the real coffee experience is around the corner. This place lived up to its reviews. Thanks. Also thanks to the manager who stopped by to chat.

First of all VIBES. The interior was beautiful. Next we have the mocktail bar. They were so much fun and super flavorful. A little bitter but hey, they are trying to imitate the real thing. Next up, the food- I had a croissant egg and cheese sandwich wit but all of their menu looked good. The croissant was one of the most flaky and yummy ones I have had in a while. The home fries were a fan favorite at our table with the onions and pepers adding a burst of flavor. They have a whole Yemeni brunch section that looked delish but for us we just snagged some Tandoor bread. Altogether, the food and drink was a 4/5. Only other thing for me to add was that the price is a little steep for brunch, but the experience still merits a 4 Star.

The ambiance was amazing . We went on a Sunday morning and were seated pretty fast. The food took about 20/25 minutes to come out. We were greeted at the door by management and served by Natalie (she was amazing and gave good recommendations). Overall service was amazing! 10/10 recommend.

The kids also remember back in the day just walking through and wishing they could eat here. Then, it finally happened, and they were so excited! Many, many years ago, I remember my oldest child finally liking chicken pot pie due to this place serving it. Well, over the years the menu has chanced, but the kids still love this experience and can't resist coming here for lunch. True, as stated in another review, the menu is super limited, but it has that charm of an old timey diner. The menu also changes from time to time, so go online before you come or look at the menu at the front before entering, because there are other places to eat, especially when the Village is also open. A couple of us opted for the half chicken salad sandwich and the cup of soup. I got broccoli cheddar and my child got the chicken noodle, but she wished she got the broccoli. We also had chips and bottles of pop, I got the Coke and it was so good and refreshing. I do not love sugar Coke unless it is from the glass bottle (this was cane sugar from Mexico, and really good, not too sweet). The other child got pastrami and cheese with mayo, also very tasty. I love a good old fashion sandwich that I do not need to make myself, it tastes like old school elementary school lunch from my childhood. We also got pies a la mode. One got pumpkin and two got mixed berry, all very good. You do not come here just for the food, this is for the atmosphere and the experience, which is worth it at least once, even though my kids will want it almost every visit.

The video surveillance should have also captured the moment I was bear hugged, dragged through a dark hallway, and eventually thrown into a white sign outside. I received bruises and luckily nothing major happened like landing wrong on my head and getting a concussion and possible death (should I have had a bad landing after being tossed by this lady). As she grabbed me and before she threw me to the ground I pled with her that she did not need to do this, but she was very angry (probably because she was working on Halloween and saw me with 3 beautiful girls and she couldn't handle how well the costume looked on me - just speculating here.) I went to this place on Halloween 2025, by the time I was assaulted it was November 1st, 2025 because it was past midnight. I was with 3 other girls (I am a male). We waited in line to get in. I was dressed up as Spider-Man and the girl I was with was Catwoman. I am of Western European descent and maybe that was the issue, I was racially profiled by the woman hostess/bouncer because she was letting in the rest of the people except me and my crew. I proceeded to take my phone out and record her after the assault and take pictures of her so I could later report her. On top of that, there were gunshots nearby so I decided to uber home and report this later instead of right away with the owner. I am going to follow up with this place to make sure we can come to some understanding that assaulting customers is not ok and I will continue to spread the word about my experience if I am not adequately satisfied with their resolution (if there is one). Again, this place is bad news and you should stay away. I am willing to change this review if an apology and some sort of incentive is offered.
