Campfire S'mores French toast

I wish we lived in the area because we would definitely be regulars! Coffee was great, food was great, service was great, and it's clean and very aesthetically pleasing. The lemon blueberry pancakes were the best pancakes I've had in quite awhile.

I was looking for a brunch spot around Dearborn Heights to meet up with some friends and heard a lot of good things about other locations of The Jagged Fork. This location, for some reason, has very low ratings in comparison, but we decided to give it a chance anyways. The eating area is quite large and spacious and even at prime brunch hours, the restaurant didn't get very crowded. Unlike other reviewers, we had no issues with the service at all - they were prompt and friendly. To be honest, I think they might actually have too much waitstaff, given that there were a couple of people just standing around and chatting. But maybe that's the restaurant trying to improve after reading all the reviews talking about the bad service. House Made Corned Beef Hash ($16) - This dish comes with two eggs, a small pile of corned beef, hashbrowns or fruit, and toast or pancakes. My two eggs over medium were pretty much cooked over easy since they were still completely gooey. Between pancakes or toast - the choice for pancakes is pretty obvious. You get two pancakes, which are fluffy and quite vanilla-ey in flavor. The hashbrowns are pretty good - they fry on the flat top until the outside develops a nice crisp, and the interior still remains fluffy. The corned beef is salty and meaty and is mixed with tender potato chunks. The description of the dish in the menu makes it sound like you will get a huge pile of meat, but it's actually pretty modest. Still, with all of the carbs on the plate, you'll get more than enough to fill you up. (4/5) Voodoo ($14) - My first impression as I bit in: woah is this unexpectedly quite spicy, both the salsa verde and the chorizo add quite a bit of heat. I feel like they should label this on the menu as being spicy because it's not obvious from reading the description. The spice level and tanginess from the salsa verde kind of overwhelm the other flavors in the dish. After eating this, I kind of regretted not ordering the classic benedict. (3/5) As other reviews state, they charge an automatic 18% gratuity and they default an extra 20% tip on top of that. Very scummy. I didn't see anything in the menu stating this, so I'm pretty sure this is illegal as well. Overall, I don't think this restaurant deserves being rated so low, but there are some definite issues. I can see that the automatic 18% gratuity can put people off, especially because I couldn't find a notice anywhere in the menu or posted in the restaurant. Still, if you're looking for a more modern brunch (rather than a Coney Island or classic diner style), you could do worse. Bathrooms: Two larger restrooms. Overall rating of the food this visit: 3.5/5

Good food at a decent price. Plenty of seating space in this renovated Rams Horn restaurant. Our waitress was great and very friendly. The food came out quick and was tasty.

I've seen a lot of reviews for The Jagged Fork in other locations so was excited to try the new one in Dearborn Heights. There are many pros to the restaurant, it's clean, service is excellent, portion sizes are enormous. However, there are also some cons - it's a little pricey ( most entrees are around $15) and none of the dishes we had were particularly tasty - they were simply not craveable. They were ok but not worth the expense or calories. There are better local breakfast places. I tried the Jagged Fork crepe - a savory crepe with ham, eggs, a variety of veggies, etc. It was definitely big enough to serve two people and was well prepared except for the fact that it definitely needed a sauce to add flavor. A little hollandaise or chipotle sauce would have done wonders. Another person in my party ordered the traditional eggs Benedict. He regularly orders eggs Benedict everywhere so has a good basis for comparison. He rated these a 5 of 6 out of 10, which is pretty low for his standards. So bottom line, it will do if you need breakfast, but we personally won't be back.

Amazing food and options! I got the chorizo skillet that came with either toast or pancakes on the side, and a dragonfruit lemonade. It arrived and I was shocked at how much food there was. It could easily feed 2 people. The skillet potatoes and the chorizo are both so good! Dragonfruit lemonade wasn't my favorite, but it was decent. I went with a friend for brunch on Friday and we got seated immediately. It's very clean inside, appears to have been renovated or updated when they moved in. Cute modern feel. I will definitely be back to try out some other things on the menu!

Food was AMAZING! They bring you fresh, hot syrup for the pancakes and French toast. The lemon vinaigrette they use on the greens is a house recipe and is so good. The iced coffee was not bad but I prefer stronger coffee, will try the espresso next time. Came in at noon on a Saturday, was sat immediately, and food was served with 15 minutes of placing our order. I do not remember the waitresses name but she was so sweet and attentive. Cute restaurant. Will be returning!

Clean open concept establishment! Food came in a timely manner; so much in the menus to choose from. Everything I tried tasted delicious! I probably won't get the French toast again, it wasn't bad though. I'll try the pancakes next time. Avo toast was good also. The nachos were a hit! I'm am definitely ordering for myself next time. The service was cool.

Great breakfast place. Used to be a Ram's Horn, but I think they did a good job of cleaning up the dining area and the whole room feels less cluttered. Service was excellent, food came out within a reasonable amount of time, and portions were generous. The chicken in my tamales was a little dry and the fruits could have been more ripe, but it's not a bad place as long as you know that the food can be a little expensive. It appears that there is a subtle Mexican theme to the menu, so if you like Tex Mex then you will be satisfied here.

The inside seating is very spacious. The inside ambiance is very welcoming. The food was very presentable and picture perfect. The portions were well sized. The food overall was pretty good. The pancakes were the highlight of the show. Everything had flavor & you couldn't go wrong with anything that we ordered. When we entered, there was an issue with our seating; however, our server, Yasmin, worked hard to make up for the issue. Her service was amazing. The only issue that we had were a few issues with the kitchen missing some of our items; however, Yasmin worked quickly to make sure we had what we ordered.

So I'm here at the Jagged Fork in Dearborn Heights...And I'm gonna be honest (like always) this place is nice!!! I got here a 8:30am... and it was empty but the employees were very nice and inviting!! I sat at the counter and Ordered CINCO DE MAYO EGG WHITE OMELETTE. It came with Arugula salad and Sergio was my the guy assisting me. He was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and food. Even the chef ‍ let me try one of his special dishes as he was having his co-workers try it out!! A lot of the food has a Spanish/Latino theme, but because it's located in Dearborn Heights all the meat is Halal !!! So it caters to everyone!! I definitely will be back and bring the family

This place is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in the Detroit area. First things first,…read morethey do not take reservations and they are always on a wait, that should tell you that they are good. We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm on a weekday. It was a Friday though around 11am and, predictably, they had a wait. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. It was totally worth the wait. Their ambiance is cute- the hallway is clean, they have bench seating and they put you on the list to get a text, so you could sit in the car if you really wanted to; we did not. They could use a foyer though. It was 22 degrees and snowing so every time the door opened we were instantly freezing. The menu is massive so if you're trying this for the first time and you're from out of town, honey bring as many friends as you can so that you guys can order everything!! Theeeee must have that I tried were the smoked wings. I have never had wings that were smoked and then fried baby they were crispy. They were seasoned to the bone and were delicious. I almost ate them all and had no room for anything else. We also did the berry pancakes which could feed 3-5 people alone; second of all, they're not overly sweet, which is why I did berries and not the peaches or anything like that; and, third of all, the pancakes are the size of your face, but they are fluffy and melt in your mouth! These were easily top two pancakes I've had in my life. We also tried the shrimp and grits, also a 10/10. A generous portion of shrimp, not overcooked and the sauce was bomb. They do put bacon on it if you're not a bacon eater pay attention. I tasted around it anyways but yes, we also tried a vegetarian omelette with home fries. This was just a 7/10 but probably because we only ever tasted it reheated because we were too full to touch it. It was 3 entrees and an appetizer and was definitely enough food to feed a family of seven. This is a must visit place, so if you are in the area and have never been: make time!!!! And take some friends. Each plate is a day's worth of calories!

If you enter through front door, walk to back. We were immediately seated. Waitress was super friendly and fast service. I ordered the Za'atar avocado toast and they allowed me to sub in scrambled eggs instead of sunny side up. It was listed a starter and so I appreciated the smaller size. It was served with a side salad with yummy picked onions. I LOVED it. Although I would have taken even a little more Za'atar in the cream cheese. My cousin ordered the chicken and waffles. She thought the chicken had a little too much seasoning and didn't love it. But the portion was huge and could have just been a personal preference. Her son orders the huevos rancheros and he enjoyed it! Also ordered but no photos were the standard breakfast with beef bacon. I tried it and was quite delicious. Tasted more like pastrami than traditional pork bacon. Very unique. Would definitely come back if in the area. Super great vibe to walk around downtown.

This was an awful table to be at in here. We hardly had elbow room or table space, especially after the giant platter sized bread was out with all of the breakfast/ brunch items for half of the table. I ordered the Fazolia. Everyone else got omelets, burgers or wrap items. Yes, a couple of team members weren't keen on ordering Fasolia with scrambled eggs, large Greek salad, 2 lahm sighar (one with potato and one quit eggs), 2 smashed burger, Yemeni scrambled eggs, chicken fajita, Greek skillet, southwest skillet, chicken wrap, coffee, tea without milk, Turkish coffee, mint lemonade refresher. Every team member said their food was good. The scrambled eggs are a tad runny and looked a bit puréed. The fasolia has good flavor and even better with some heat. It came out piping hot. Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.
