A neon sign with the phrase 'Treat Yo Self' in pink is mounted on a wall. The wall is decorated with various pastel-colored sprinkle shapes, creating a playful and inviting atmosphere. The sign is illuminated, making it stand out against the background.

Great place to get some ice cream!! Many different types and kinds! I can't wait to go back and try something different! This location is a little small but has outdoor seating! They even have a heated area to sit in the cooler months! Nice service, pretty quick and there is also a point system for The Custard Co!

Recently, I tried the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup at the Custard Co. and I must say it was delicious! The combination of frozen custard, fresh strawberries, lots of chocolate and crunchy pistachio knafeh is an interesting but tasty mix of flavors and textures. It was $9+, so not a cheap dessert but also reasonable based on the quality and in comparison with the prices other local places are charging for this type of product. I would buy it again for sure.

Definitely a good amount of flavors and fresh toppings! This icecream shop was different! I never seen or had icecream in a sweet bun! Everything was so flavorful and yummy! The workers there were also very friendly and polite. The inside of the shop does not have seating but there is outdoor seating shaded and unshaded. I'll definitely come back!

hard packed ice cream - Six ice cream tubs are arranged in a freezer, each containing different flavors. The flavors include chocolate, mint, a colorful swirl, and others with varying colors and textures. The tubs are partially filled, and the freezer is surrounded by snow and ice, indicating a cold environment suitable for storing ice cream. The image captures the variety of flavors available at the ice cream shop.

This cute little spot is just what you need on a hot summers day. It is small so pack your patience. The staff is super friendly and work really hard to explain your options. Service was fast and friendly. If you're in the dearborn area try them out. Black cherry hard packed ice cream is my second fav right next to Superman and they had them BOTH!!

I was looking forward to this Yelp Experience and it did not disappoint! You have to enter through the back, but the entrance only allows for one vehicle at a time so I sat on Outer Drive for a minute or two waiting for the other vehicle to pull out. However, once parked and inside, it was a great experience. They have so many options when it comes to types of desserts that I was unsure of what to get. After speaking with the ladies, they mentioned the Wowffle which was a great choice. It was honestly the best ice cream dessert that I've had in a while. I sat in the parking lot and indulged. I bragged about the experience to a few people before making it home. Definitely going back!

I was on my way home and spotted this realizing I missed the Yelp Elite event. Had to stop in to try their custard. OMG! So glad I stopped in. I had the Loaded Reese's Cone. Their custard is so smooth and creamy. This hit the spot. I had a hard time deciding what to choose. I will have to stop here again to try other items. There was quite a crowd but they handled the volume very well. Fast service with a smile. No seating inside but nice space outdoors with plenty of seating. If you're there in the evening, nice casual patio.

A nice little custard shop that features cones that are injected with and rolled in toppings. The service was super friendly and fast. They have a small covered outdoor area you can sit and enjoy your dessert. A little pricey at $6 something a cone, but it's a treat:

Sweet bun with Irish Mint Chip and Detroit Grand Slam custard. Awesome. - Two halves of a sweet bun with a filling of Irish Mint Chip custard and chocolate chips are placed on a foam plate. The buns are sprinkled with powdered sugar and appear to be part of a dessert offering. The image is taken in a setting that suggests a casual environment, possibly a food stand or ice cream shop.

I've got to give it up for the Custard Co. Outstanding ice cream shop. Five stars for: 1.) Amazing, creative ice cream flavors that made it difficult to decide which to choose (Irish Mint Chip & Detroit Grand Slam). 2.) Creative interesting treats, including the sweet bun specialty. 3.) Reasonable prices and decent service. Just an outstanding ice cream experience that I highly recommend.

The Dubai Chocolate - A soft serve ice cream sundae features multiple swirls of vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate syrup and green toppings. It is served in a clear plastic bowl with a white plastic spoon inserted. The dessert is placed on a white marble table, with a background showing people, a blue soda can, and a yellow drink container. The setting appears to be a casual dining or ice cream shop.

I ordered the Dubai Chocolate at the Canteen and wow this is amazing! As someone who is a fan of pistachio flavor, this is one of the best pistachio ice cream I've ever tried. I can see why this is a popular choice, as I love the chocolate hard dip as a compliment to the ice cream. 5/5 stars!

A crumpled receipt from The Custard Co in Dearborn, MI, displays a list of ice cream desserts including Cookie Monster, The Sweet Bun, and Flurry options, along with toppings such as Oreo and Reese's Cups. The receipt includes order details, date, and time, and handwritten notes in blue ink are visible on the paper.

Service was horrible. She made my order wrong and demanded I pay for it to be made again and then when shown the receipt and that she made it wrong she rolled her eyes and walked away. After I asked to speak with a manager she told me to "go to Dairy Queen next time". Horrible atmosphere. And to be clear I ordered cookies and cream and was served Cookie Monster

Place: The place was a small corner spot at the end of neighborhood street. It is super cute that kids and families can go and grab ice cream/custards. It has a dairy queen vibe and there are circle tables for outdoor seating. Service: The service was good. Food $: I tried their famous custard ice cream sandwhich and was good but messy haha. Next time I want to try just a good old ice cream on a cone. My favorite flavor has to be coffee or sorbet! Audience: Solo Trip [X] Family Friendly [X] Friends [X] Recommendations/tips I recommend this place and it is near dearborn downtown so check that out while you are there.

Good service, lots of seating, huge menu (warning:if your kids has a hard time choosing between things do the customers behind you and limit them to 2 or 3 options), and some reservation parking spaces in the back. It is a throw back to the old fashion neighborhood ice cream store. A good place for a quiet visit for a family or for a couple who are out for a walk. It is good to see a place like this surviving this day and age.

Custard Co was SO DELICIOUS! It was within walking distance of my friend's house, so my friends and I (and their mom) walked the 5 minutes on over to Custard Co on a humid, almost-about-to-rain kind of summer evening. You could see Custard Co from a ways away given its all pink exterior and that it's located right on the corner intersection of two main roads - such a cute building! The line was out the door, but moved fast, so we were able to place our orders quickly! My eyes were bigger than my stomach and there were just sooo many great options on their menu that I opted to get two things! I got a cup of the rose custard, which is literally the lightest and fluffiest divine thing I've ever tried! As someone who finds it hard to finish a full cup of ice cream normally because it's so sweet and my sweet tooth has a limit, I really appreciated this and was able to finish the WHOLE THING! Then I also got the black cherry Vernors SHAKE because it was summertime and the black cherry Vernors (limited edition) was all around and one of my favorite drinks is the Boston Cooler (regular Vernors + vanilla ice cream). It was also so delicious and I was drinking it for the next several hours in small sips because I was so sugared out. But I loved everything Custard Co had to offer! There were ice cream SANDWICHES, 'wowffles,' ice cream sundaes, and on and on! There are so many delicious options here and I'll definitely be back to try more SOON! Thanks Custard Co!

Moodith: A Calder Bros. Love Letter A confession from a…read moredairy addict with no plans for recovery When I was little, I lived with my grandparents in a house that still had a milk chute by the side door. Some of my earliest memories are of Gram accidentally locking us out. She'd give me a leg up, and I'd clamber through that tiny door like some pint-sized action hero. Without fail, I'd crash into the brass umbrella stand and send it tumbling down the basement stairs, which sounded like a car crash. But after landing in a heap, I'd pop up, fling the door open, and beam like Fievel finally finding his family and fitting into his giant hat. Now, Calder's might not be sliding bottles through chutes anymore, but they will still deliver to your doorstep: milk, eggs, butter, the whole wholesome package. This is a lifesaver for my 96-year-old Gram, who doesn't exactly "pop into Meijer" the way she used to. Downriver might not be a postcard neighborhood, but Calder's honestly dignifies it just by existing. But let's get real: I'm here to talk about the eggnog. This is not your run-of-the-mill jug. It's eggnog with the viscosity of wet cement and the caloric density of my future regrets. It's one of the main reasons I'll never hit my "target weight," unless that target is simply "rotund." Here's the thing...I have a dairy problem. When I was a teen, I once complained to my doctor about my loud stomach. She suggested I give up dairy. I laughed directly in her face. Given that I'm usually pathologically polite, that was basically the emotional equivalent of slapping her. If my family ever staged an intervention and gave me an ultimatum, dairy would win, and it would be the loss of a pretty good family. My addictions, in rough order, look like this: 1. Dairy. 2. Buying stuff I don't need (but swear I'll use). 3. Caffeine. 4. A practiced devotion to the unattainable (sigh/fml). 5. Hoarding premium gel pens like they're rare Pokémon. So yeah, Calder's doesn't just have a customer for life. They may very well end up as the surprise beneficiary of my estate someday. Picture it: a modest inheritance left not to wayward relatives, but to the cows themselves...my final act of dairy philanthropy.
