Food: I went for the build your own cookie cup: note, this is not a cup made out of cookies, but rather a parfait style treat that goes cookie, ice cream, cookie, ice cream. I'll say they were awesome gourmet cookies, however there were only four options. Of those, they were out of chocolate chip. Who runs out of chocolate chip? Especially with a limited menu, and it wasn't that late in the night. The s'mores cookies were very good though- a little salty, sweet, chewy. You could definitely detect the marshmallow and chocolate. I paired this with turtle ice cream- a good match! Big salty sweet caramel flavor, and the vanilla portions tasted like a rich vanilla. There were also mini peanut butter cups inside! Yum!! If you got ice cream bites without cookie, you were still happy. I think the price was fair. Ambiance: very clean and white, kinda boring. Looked a little cookie cutter... no pun intended. Still, there was plenty of indoor seating. I think this would be a great spot to grab a coffee or treat and walk around downtown Dearborn. Service: excellent. Warm, kind, helpful, patient. These guys were good. Selection: there aren't a million options on the menu, but several solid choices. My guess is you can't go wrong with anything you pick. I'll be back!

I came right when they opened at 12pm on a Saturday. They had to unlock the door for me. They seem to be remodeling because they had half the space covered by a black plastic tarp. I was looking to see what flavors were available but they were not listed or on display. After being let in the staff went to the back for a few minutes before coming to take my order. He told me the flavors available (s'mores, kinder, chocolate chip and biscoff) I got one of each, they were $2.50 per cookie so my total was $10. I believe if you order more than 12 the price per cookies is lower. He said the order would be a minute as the cookies had to be warmed up. It was really dark inside also, not sure if it was because they had just opened for the day or if that's how it always is. They offer various coffee drinks and ice cream also but I was hesitant to get a coffee as it seemed like they weren't really prepared for customers. My cookies were ready probably less than 5 minutes after ordering. The cookies were incredibly soft and delicious with the standouts being the s'mores and kinder(my fav). I love that the graham cracker flavor in the s'mores was just as prominent in the cookie as the chocolate and marshmallow and the kinder was unlike anything I've had, in the best way . I would def return to try any other flavors they may have.

Stopped in here for a quick treat. Really nice store with an elegant ambiance. My partner and I shared a cookie cup which was 3 cookies and 2 large scoops of ice cream which was perfect for 2 people. Ice cream itself was delicious. The selection is a small handful of custom flavors. There were 4 choices for cookies but delicious as well. We would definitely recommend and come back again.

After watching an Instagram video about the best cookies in Michigan, I decided to take a quick trip up Michigan Avenue to see if the hype was real. It was easy to find the location, and I was lucky to find a street parking spot for just a couple of quarters. Alternatively, there is a parking lot around the corner for convenience. After a short wait and being greeted by a friendly smile, I quickly inquired about the best latte on the menu. Despite my initial recommendation of a caramel latte I selected the tiramisu latte due to it being a limited-time flavor and the last one available, I opted for the tiramisu latte along with one of each cookie. The place had minimal decor, but the standout feature for me was the presence of delicious local ice cream from Guernsey's Dairy, known for being the best in town. In less than 5 minutes, my order was ready, and I was out the door, eagerly waiting to indulge in my treats. When I got home, I couldn't resist trying the tiramisu latte in the car immediately. It was not overly sweet but had just the right balance of flavors and creaminess. I made a mental note to try the suggested caramel latte on my next visit. As for the cookies, they reminded me of Toll House half-baked cookies, which happen to be my favorite. While they were tasty, I couldn't confidently say they were the best in Michigan; perhaps the best in Dearborn.

I've been wanting to check out Treat You Batter and finally found the opportunity. I like the location. It's in between a bunch of different eateries so it seems perfect for a quick treat after lunch or dinner. They had coffee drinks, cookies and cookie ice cream sandwiches. I was a bit disappointed in the cookie assortment. They looked like four variations of chocolate chip cookies but with different toppings or fillings - s'mores, Lotus/Biscoff and another variation. I would love to see more cookie varieties and different types. The cookies were average sized, not overly large and not too small. The plus is that the cookies are served warm and meaty as they should be. They were tasty but not addictive. Sometime I'd like to try the ice cream sandwich.

I got the iced lavender matcha latte and it was pretty good for what I was expecting. Only 1 worker at the front but he made my drink pretty quickly . This was my first time trying and I would go again. The drink was around $6 after tax

I hate that we drove all the way over here on a Tuesday around 6:30PM, only for them to tell us they don't have any cookies!

Moodith: A Calder Bros. Love Letter A confession from a…read moredairy addict with no plans for recovery When I was little, I lived with my grandparents in a house that still had a milk chute by the side door. Some of my earliest memories are of Gram accidentally locking us out. She'd give me a leg up, and I'd clamber through that tiny door like some pint-sized action hero. Without fail, I'd crash into the brass umbrella stand and send it tumbling down the basement stairs, which sounded like a car crash. But after landing in a heap, I'd pop up, fling the door open, and beam like Fievel finally finding his family and fitting into his giant hat. Now, Calder's might not be sliding bottles through chutes anymore, but they will still deliver to your doorstep: milk, eggs, butter, the whole wholesome package. This is a lifesaver for my 96-year-old Gram, who doesn't exactly "pop into Meijer" the way she used to. Downriver might not be a postcard neighborhood, but Calder's honestly dignifies it just by existing. But let's get real: I'm here to talk about the eggnog. This is not your run-of-the-mill jug. It's eggnog with the viscosity of wet cement and the caloric density of my future regrets. It's one of the main reasons I'll never hit my "target weight," unless that target is simply "rotund." Here's the thing...I have a dairy problem. When I was a teen, I once complained to my doctor about my loud stomach. She suggested I give up dairy. I laughed directly in her face. Given that I'm usually pathologically polite, that was basically the emotional equivalent of slapping her. If my family ever staged an intervention and gave me an ultimatum, dairy would win, and it would be the loss of a pretty good family. My addictions, in rough order, look like this: 1. Dairy. 2. Buying stuff I don't need (but swear I'll use). 3. Caffeine. 4. A practiced devotion to the unattainable (sigh/fml). 5. Hoarding premium gel pens like they're rare Pokémon. So yeah, Calder's doesn't just have a customer for life. They may very well end up as the surprise beneficiary of my estate someday. Picture it: a modest inheritance left not to wayward relatives, but to the cows themselves...my final act of dairy philanthropy.
