Coffee was great, would return. Very clean and unique interior. Friendly and attentive staff.
All the drinks I've tried here have been excellent, especially the adeni tea and my favorite, the iced caramel latte. Love the decor as well. It does get very busy on weekends with a long wait sometimes
Well i think they got me - i'm never the person who really order coffee at the shop but let me just say Qahwah house iced latta (w/sugar).... YES PLEASE! Oh don't forget your straw because the GOOD stuff is at the bottom and oh yeah with whip cream on top -- YUMMY!!! **It's the spices that does it for me** Not sure how crowded it gets - it's semi-spacey but with limited sitting, so i wouldn't suggest a big group unless you call a head and maybe they can make some type of arrangement. The employees were super nice and greeted me while assisting others. Well i be back - yes because i think i would like to try some other things that i can't get a my local store. Happy drinking!
The coffee shop was absolutely beautiful inside. It would be such a nice place to go in and just relax. The feel was older and vintage with wooden decorations, huge glass windows and glass paneling where you can see the workers directly working on your cup of coffee. The pistachio cake was so light and fluffy. The drink was also very interesting and strong. I'm not used to the middle eastern flavors. It felt like a coffee with strong hints of cinnamon and spices. It hit very much in the back of the throat. Service was fast also!
Never dull moment here. I love this place reminds me of my deployments to the Middle East. Around this time perfect to have an oak nog latte. Humbling customer service along with great Yemeni coffee. Along with Oak Nog latte I love my favorite fluffy 3 layer red velvet blast cake. I love sitting down here the music is meditating and suing wish I could understand the language. It doesn't feel like a coffee house nor a pastry shop. I am not Arabic but when I come here I forget about the troubles in the world. This is just a great place to find peace too. That is all. Chief The self control of oneself begins with respect.
Great service and great coffee! The coffee was full of favor and the gentleman who puts in orders was very helpful in finding the right coffee for your own personal preference. The ambience of the coffee shop is beautiful as well!
This is my absolute favorite place to get chai. You can share a pot with people (small or large) and the small pot is plenty for two people, maybe even too much! It is so authentic and flavorful and the pastries are also very good especially the cloud cake. The interior is very well decorated and plenty of room, as well as a large outdoor patio. The employees are also very friendly and fast.
I've been to the location in downtown Dearborn and that one is much better as far as sitting down and the aesthetic as it's much bigger. But I got a to go cup of the adeni chai and it's just so perfect and comforting. It's hot, it has the perfect blend of spice, and overall great. The service is good here they ask you if you need sugar and everything and will put it in for you.
Having tried the expansion that they wisely placed near the Ford museum complex, I thought why not try the original; it must be even better. It was not. The second location is actually bigger and nicer and both have a similar wood-accented aesthetic. However, they are both substantively the same and both very good. Even as a non-coffee-drinker, I find their interpretation of chai quite intoxicating, with an aromatic spice blend that hits the senses. I asked for mine lightly sweetened, which was just right. The place also houses a sneaky good display of pastries. I'm not the hugest fan of Middle Eastern desserts, in part because the traditional ones don't have any chocolate (a Central American plant). But the triple chocolate cake they had on offer shows that they know what to do with chocolate when they're given the chance. The food and drink are a great representation of the local community, but I wish this taste was more widespread in the U.S. There is a parking lot out back which confused me, so I parked in the neighborhood, which was one of the more distinct ethnic enclaves I've ever seen in the U.S. I was then asked nicely to move my car in anticipation of someone's house party, which I did. It's an interesting neighborhood, and visitors will likely be very happy they searched out this cafe.
The ambiance is of this Qawah House is different than the other location but it has the same great taste. This location has two floors. There is map depicting the coffee trading around the world. There are unique pieces of art around the place. Definitely worth visiting. I ordered a small pot of Adeni Chai and it was delicious. The honeycomb bread was also very good and pairs so well with the chai. The service was alright. I had to repeatedly ask for the same items.

Very friendly service. The place was very clean. I had a yemeni latte which had so many layers of flavors and was really tasty.
Went to a fun Yelp Exploration Society Event here and discovered a wonderful place to get amazing coffee! The staff was so kind and patient with a newbie to coffee (me).
I ended up going with a caramel macchiato, and it was seriously one of the best I've had -- perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a rich espresso flavor that didn't get lost under the caramel. You could tell it was made with care rather than just rushed out. The owner even walked me through a few menu options without making me feel rushed, even though I was the one in a hurry! The whole spot has such a warm, welcoming vibe, and everything smells and tastes fresh. I'll definitely be back to try that Redbull-infused Refresher and grab one of those pastries next time. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Perfect stop whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or want to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. 5 stars! read more
Quality coffee shop right off Schaefer in Dearborn. I tried the jubani coffee which was delicious. Jubani is a light roast coffee with cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon giving it a nice rich flavor and the ginger leaving an everlasting taste on your tongue. I opted for a small pot of coffee dining in instead of a cup. I was pretty happy with the amount of coffee and the quality of the experience. Good amount of seating for a small coffee shop, it wasn't very busy but the service the fast. It was very relaxing and refreshing. I even decided to get some dark roast for my French press at home and that coffee has been phenomenal! read more

This Tea House is always packed, a great sign showing how much everyone enjoys it. That being said coming with a large group might be difficult. The Khaliat Al Nahl, or honeycomb bread, is absolutely divine. Soft, fluffy, cheesy, and covered in amazing honey, this is a must have and pairs well with any of the drinks coffee or tea. The Adeni Chai is a Yemeni classic and you can ask them to adjust sweetness levels for your liking. The beef samosa is crispy but nothing too special or significant. They are open late and the service is ok, mostly just asking for your order at the counter. read more

This place has some of the best coffee I've had since my time living in Costa Rica. Though the atmosphere may be noisy, it has a real family feel to it. The Adeni chai with sugar is a MUST HAVE with the honeycomb combo. I've been here one to many times that the staff knows my order by face and have gotten to know the owner of this establishment. He genuinely cares for his customers and creates all the drinks with compassion-haha kind of corny. The drinks are a fairly priced and you will not be disappointed from your first to last sip as they are made fresh. The only issue is that if you bring a large party, you may not find seating for everyone and they do not offer you more cups upon request. They only have one unisex bathroom as well. You cannot bring in food from other establishments and studying here is hard later in the day. read more
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! This cafe is truly where taste and culture explode and the history of this style of coffee preparation is crazy. Love how you can watch each drink being made. Customer service was impeccable! Everyone was so knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Although this is primarily a coffee place, the Yemeni tea was a stand out for me. Black tea with no bitterness and super smooth, even without sugar. The pastries.... still dreaming about them. Will be back! read more
Don't go here without trying their khaliat alnahl - it's cheesy, sweet, and delicious. Their tea is really good too. However the carrot cake was practically inedible and hard. We couldn't even finish it. There is a parking lot to the side and behind the cafe. The rear door looks a bit sketch, but it's nice inside. read more
I loved this place! It's pretty busy in there, but fairly quick service. The Yemeni iced latte is amazing!!! I will definitely bring my friends here when they visit MI. I wish there was a Qahwah House in MD! Overall great place and can't wait to come back and try something else! - Latte 11/10 - Experience 10/10 - Price point pretty good! $7.00 for a Yemeni lced latte pretty affordable (according to a Marylander) - I highly recommend this place!! read more

Loved this so much I came back a few hours later. The Yemeni Latte is heaven. It's sweet and strong and just perfect. The honeycomb bread recommended by the guy at the front desk was some of the best pastry I have ever had When I returned I tried the chai which was strong but I found myself wanting another latte because it was just so good. read more
Adeni Chai, absolutely out of this world! We sat watching the non-stop action of boiling water, brewing the tea and coffee, spoons scooping out spices and sugar, milk bubbling over and the cans of evaporated milk slides across the counter as they empty in to the trash can. Here I am sipping on Jubani - coffee that tastes like tea, made with coffee beans, spices and husk. The atmosphere is bright, warm and cozy. The staff behind is kind and welcoming. In fact, my friend made a small comment about the beautiful color of the chai that was poured in the pot made for another customer. The guy gave us a complimentary cup and after one sip, we are coming back. This place is a wonderful discovery to Yemen and felt like I had traveled far to get this awesome drink. They have Yemeni and Saudi Arabian coffee beans. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention busy too with so many takeout orders. It's like that for a reason. Definitely a worthy stop! read more

We ordered a small pot of coffee (can't remember which name). They then gave us a buzzer to let us know when our order was ready. The coffee was sweet but not too sweet which we loved! The coffeehouse is beautiful and inviting. Next time I would love to study here with a delicious hot pot of their coffee!!! They even had a magician showing tables his magic tricks which I thought was interesting for a coffeehouse but very entertaining! read more
I would probably rate 4.5 but I'll be nice and round up to 5 :) I had a small pot of adeni tea and the honey comb bread (both the sweet and savory one -- sorry i can't remember the name!). The tea was so cute. It came in a glass pot and metal strainer (LOVE that there was no plastic to be seen). I split it 3 ways and got it without sugar. The honey comb bread was great too. It was stuffed with a rich cream cheese. I had a similar bread at another yemeni bakery (Roti Max Bakery) but they no longer sell this bread so once I saw Qahwah House sold it, I had to run there. The inside is very large. There's a cool map of the history of coffee trading. I agree with someone else who says it's a much cooler place to hang out than Starbucks. The workers were all very nice. I am actually not a coffee drinker, so I can't comment on that ;P although one worker told me his favorite is the choclate drink, so I'll have to try that next time! read more
The best coffee in town. I am happy they're opening more, this is as authentic as it gets. I wish they would open one up for strictly drive thru because there are times i want to just grab a cup and go! Regardless, this coffee shop is the place you must stop at, or the one on the other side of town. I bring all my family to it! read more
The teas and coffees are top notch! A much cooler place to hang out than Starbucks, because there's a true sense of history and culture - from the large map of trade routes on the wall to the great music playing overhead. The place brings with energy and good vibes, which may be because of the caffeine? The teas are all delicious! Definitely want to try to the coffee next time...shame on me for not doing so since it's the name of the place The Khaliat Alnahl is a fun pastry to try. It's basically a bagel with cream cheese and honey poured on top. Delicious, but I think I'll try the Sabaya next time. They also have an assortment of European pastries that for sure will go well with any drink you get! Everything is clearly baked fresh and of a higher standard than other coffee houses. With these decent prices too, why would you wanna go to any old coffee shop? read more

I rarely give a business 5 but today at Qahwah House my cappuccino was perfection and the cream cheese bread was simply great. I want more! And the service was fantastic as well. See for yourself:) read more
