This is an adorable neighborhood coffee house that serves a very delicious egg Sammich. It's got a nice house made sauce with fresh chives with a nice light flavor not strong at all. Your gonna love the texture of this egg Demi soufflé texture with a nice slice of melty cheese and that SAUCE

I loved stopping here on sat morning for their egg sandwich and a latte. The food was delicious, the coffee is great and service was pleasant. Overall an awesome place in corktown. The inside is small but has cozy vibes. We also had the sweet roll and the carrot cake.

Drink: I went with a cortado and the cafe de olla. I asked for the cafe de olla to be iced and the barista kindly made it in a cold brew for me. Cortado was excellent. This was great coffee; I could use the typical words like "rich" and "full bodied" but I honestly don't think I know what that means. It was delicious coffee, let's leave it at that. The cold brew was great as well, not my favorite flavor but it was my first time ever trying flavors like piloncillo and canela. I also got a carrot cake, very good, felt "healthier" than the average one. Cool spot on the same strip as Slows bbq.

A very cute coffee shop right across the street from the famous Grandma Bob's Pizza. The interior design and decor are cozy and inviting, with a La Marzocco machine shining behind the plants. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, which added to the vibe. I tried the hot Café de Olla Latte (an oat milk latte with housemade spice), which was unique, nutty, and perfect for a colder day. The matcha was refreshing, though not the best we've had.

    Excited!

Got the Sammie to go! Went home and put some Jelly on it heavenly. Great service from behind the bar and the ambiance is I may have found my next Saturday coffee treat myself and work on my laptop vibe! Look at the DVDs!

Cute little coffee shop with plenty of seating. Grabbed a latte and a matcha to try. Coffee had good flavour (had a bit more citrus taste to it) but the matcha wasn't as good as I expected (although I am a bit more picky with my matcha). Other than that, the experience was great and they close a bit later than the usual coffee shops I go to which is great. Service was quick too so I was in and out right away. Not a bad spot to check out if you're ever around the area.

Alba is a new coffee shop in Corktown and they've made it such a quaint space to be in. The latte was DIVINE -- I got the cafe de olla. and they brought all the best parts of the olla into this latte. It was cozy and smooth, making it a perfect sip. They have breakfast burritos from local vendors (which are pretty good). It was the perfect spot to chill and get some work done.

Enjoyed the vibes - great place to work. They make their nut milks and syrups in house.

Came in because I had found this cafe on here and thought the food and drinks looked good, particularly the egg sandwich. My goodness - better than I could have even imagined. The soufflé egg sandwich ... they blew it out of the water. I am usually underwhelmed when it comes to food items like that at most places. However, this was beyond perfect: texture, flavors, portion, everything. Ironically I vocalized that it changed my life and I somehow echoed what was already on the poster (I now am "someone" lolll). I also got the pandan latte iced, it was delicious. To top it off, the staff were very warm and sweet. Excited to come back!

    They sell ground coffee.

Super cute coffee place, with all the usual coffee drinks. I ordered a mocha, and loved its complexity. The barista made a pretty heart on top. I love it when they do that! I also tried a Malted Rye Chocolate Chip cookie. I wasn't sure what to except, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cookie was buttery and had caramelly notes. It had just the right amount of chocolate and I loved its chew. They had some pistachio cake which looked really good. Next time...

Cute coffee shop in Corktown. I enjoyed the relaxed and cozy ambience. It was pretty quiet and would be a good place to study/work. Their alba egg sandie was delicious.

This coffee shop is so cute. I love the flowers on the tables. It's a great place to get some work done. They have really good coffee, I just got a house blend without milk or sweetener. They also have some vegan sweets. I got the vegan plum cake and it was so good.

If you're looking for a place to work, it's great for solo productivity, reading, writing, or answering emails. However, it can get a bit lively and loud, so I wouldn't recommend it for virtual meetings or calls. For focused work without meetings, though, it's a perfect spot. Overall, Cafe Sous Terre offers great food, excellent coffee, and one of the most charming atmospheres in Detroit. I'll definitely be back! Oh and the service epic -

Cozy, well thought out decor and seating. The service was fabulous. My one complaint is that they were completely out of baked goods and desserts when we came in for a coffee after dinner! Also, cortados could be paired with the customary cup of soda water for a more serious coffee experience. A few small tweaks and this place is over the moon. Oh! Another epic part of the experience is the live music we were privy to Sunday night. When the gentlemen weren't playing, we were treated to some really nice jazz through the speakers.

Located near Michigan & Trumbull in Corktown, it's a great spot for both social gatherings or solo visits. The staff is friendly and efficient. The affogato lives up to the hype. Not only does it satisfy a sweet tooth, it's also a nice pick-me-up. The gelato flight is a great option for sharing. $17 may seem steep, but it's cheaper than ordering multiple individual cups. Of the five flavors I've tried, the pistachio is my favorite. Momento also offers baked goods and sorbet. I've had the lemon and raspberry sorbets, and personally prefer the lemon. While the baked goods are outsourced, the croissant I had was delicious. I've also tried the lemonade. It was too sour for my liking, though I'm hoping it was just an off batch. There are also some savory options, like breakfast sandwiches and paninis, I plan on trying one day. In the few times my family and I have been to Momento, we've always left happy. Gelato isn't especially common in the Metro Detroit area, so having a solid spot like this in one of the city's most happening neighborhoods shouldn't be taken for granted.
