Several friends recommended this caffe! I stopped in before 8 a.m. and was serviced immediately! The interior has a warm feel- I wanted a caramel macchiato, but they were out of caramel, so I tried the cinnamon honey option. The barista was very pleasant and helpful. They use recyclable materials, which is great! They had coffee options and croissants available this morning. They have street parking.

Wonderful little hidden gem of a cafe! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful space,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] great coffee, great service, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a charming patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely worth a visit!

Cute lil place, good sized menu considering how small it is. Barista was super chill! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just FYI there isn't any seating so this place is more of a brief stop for commuters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Makes me wonder how it survives considering it's a few blocks off Woodward. Would recommend to anyone passing by!

I love this place SO much. Always a great latte and delicious house made syrups. Can't wait for it to warm up to chill outside! Keep up the good work.

Beautiful vibe on a close to perfect Sunday morning during Memorial Day weekend. Staff was welcoming, courteous, and personable. There is seating outside during this season which was where their customers were sitting. The counter/ordering area inside is a bit tight however w/that limitation it seems to encourage staff to be efficient w/orders coming in. I ordered a dirty chai latte w/oat milk. Very delicious. If you're in the area or wanna check out a new cafe this one is it.

We stopped in for a quick cup of excellent coffee just after 7 am, before beginning a pre-dawn walk in the city. What a find! Our barista was kind, efficient and knew her beans! I had an exquisite cup of hot, smooth as silk, freshly brewed coffee. My companion enjoyed his rich Mocha with a local favorite: Calder's milk in the glass container. Prices are entirely reasonable. And BONUS - if you get there before 8 AM, coffee is a dollar off! We took seats at one of the small, sidewalk tables, sipped and watched patrons as they came in to quickly grab online orders before starting their day. It was delightful experience that we will repeat!

Absolutely amazing little walk up coffee spot! The staff here are so friendly and the coffee and drinks handmade and outstanding. My recommendations: The cortado Pour over coffee Flavored lattes I also highly recommend their simply syrup vs sugar in your coffee. So good! Expect to pay between $3-$5 per drink. They also have a great selection of cocktails and pastries to go! 10/10 would come here anytime

Cute but we didn't really enjoy the taste of the drinks we had (latte & hot chocolate) & nowhere to sit

Finding this cute, modern cafe on a whim was a pleasant surprise. Located in the up and coming New Center area of Detroit, the walk-up window is right next to the Kiesling bar. The cafe offers patio seating along the street providing a great atmosphere to enjoy a coffee date in Detroit. The inside of the cafe is chic and airy, while offering a variety of coffee and baked goods to enjoy. The prices were as expected for specialty coffees in the Detroit area. The mocha I ordered was good, and the staff was friendly. Visiting during COVID, mask wearing and social distancing were appropriately adhered to and coffee lids were even handed to you via tongs (so employees did not touch the top)--a nice touch in my opinion. A quaint local cafe to check out and see the growth of businesses in Detroit.

Cute walk up window! Perfect for grab and go coffee in any season.

What an adorable little hidden gem! I was driving by and saw two people sitting in their cute pastel minty green seats outside. I had to make a u-turn to give the place a try, even though I already had my coffee for the day. I'm so glad I did! Nothing like a caffe that can make you feel like you just took a trip abroad. Adorable decor, and most importantly quality tasting menu items. I enjoyed a honey + cinnamon latte with macadamia nut milk and a cinnamon + sweet potato scone. Will definitely return, and have already begun spreading the word about this new find. I highly recommend.

Iced matcha latte was basically just a cup of milk. Chai is also store bought from a carton so not worth getting.

We were there for a late lunch and we had to wait maybe 20 minutes for a table. I got the passion fruit drink which was good. We also got the chips with the dipping sauce. That was a lovely way to start the meal. I love plantains so I was very excited to see it was part of most of the dishes. I got the kumuhama chicken. It comes with your choice of rice, beans, plantains and corn salad. It is flavorful without being spicy. I tried my friends' dishes and they were good too. The serving size is good and I think most people have enough to take some leftover home. We tried 2 of the desserts. The Tamu is very interesting and not too sweet if you aren't into overly sweet treat. The coco mango is more traditional "parfait " but still lovely. If I lived around, I would definitely hang there a bunch!

The food was delicious overall. The Intore was definitely the highlight--flavorful, well-seasoned, and with just the right amount of spice. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. My only disappointment was the value of some of the sides. The beans were good, but $7 felt steep for a portion that was around half a cup. The shokola was also quite small for $9. That said, I would absolutely recommend Baobab. I plan to go back and next time I'll stick with the main courses.

From their cakes and cookies, to their parfaits and macaroons, everything just hits. On a most recent visit, I tried their biscoff parfait and it was a show stopper. It was hard for me to enjoy my Matilda chocolate cake (though I managed) knowing that I had more biscoff parfait to eat. They do coffee and other assorted beverages as well, but those are just support for the real stars of the show here, their desserts. I cannot say one bad thing I have had here (though a friend of mine says their cinnamon rolls were underwhelming). OVERALL - a great ending to an evening, or a destination unto itself. Get some, now! The cake looked great and had the graham (I might have imagined it), marshmallow, and chocolate flavor elements in each bite, but it ran a bit dry and sweeter than I prefer. I'm in the "less sugar is more" minority, so most people might be fine with it. I guess I should have expected it given the name. The iced matcha latte used decent matcha and tasted light and pleasant, no grit. Inside, it is all pastels and cake themed accents, with the general vibe of "yeah, there are macarons here." The real plus is being near Little Caesars Arena in the newer development area, which makes it convenient for grabbing a treat and a drink while downtown.
