Best Yemen Coffee Shop in the area. Adeni Tea is perfect. Baked goods and desserts always hit.
Cozy spot in Dearborn with big window views and plenty of seating. The Yemeni coffee and Adeni chai were both really good, full of flavor and different from the usual coffee shop drinks. We also tried the honeycomb, which was fresh, sweet, and went perfectly with the tea. Service was a little slow since it was busy, but overall it's a great place to relax, work, or just hang out. Definitely worth a visit.
The lattes here are sweet but not over powering. They have a good drink menu selection. I always get the lemon cake when I come here. The staff are friendly and it's a large area. If you have work to do it's a great space you can focus in.
It's at the Fairlane Mall circle. Located at this food hall. There are some inside eateries inside the hall. Private area for parties. 4-6 food trucks in the parking lot and seating outside as well as an outside tented area. There is an app to order from any spot in here, that works for a group to order and pay. The app wasn't working for our team today. Had to use Apple Pay. Grabbed some lunch with my colleagues. Ordered a Turkish black coffee. It's cooked on their electric stove top. It's piping hot and strong. We thought about getting one of the honey comb cheese treat, but it didn't look as good as some of the pics.
I've been to several Yemen coffee shops and this has been one of the best ones! The coffee here is absolutely amazing!! The pastries, unbelievably delicious! The store is clean and tidy. Customer service was very nice! Overall a great experience! Definitely recommend! Would come here again if I'm visiting Michigan!
I enjoyed the adeni tea a lot and would order it again. A staff member described the hazelnut or pistachio dream dessert as similar to a cheesecake but with denser texture and lighter mouthfeel and she was exactly spot on. I would order the hazelnut dream dessert again. Pistachio milk cake was good, but need to be in a mood for heavier sweets to fully enjoy. It's an order and self service set up, and the staff at the register processed my order correctly. I like the ambiance and lighting of this location compared to others.
Not much can be said except that this is my favorite tea/coffee shops in Michigan. I live in Chicago and also go all the time. Food 10/10 music 10/10 ambiance 10/10. Quality is everything!
Always a delight. The treats and tea are of excellent quality. Very clean interior with beautiful restrooms. The setting is open, yet somehow intimate. The aromas inside are intoxicating- you are immediately welcomed by a rainbow of spices that soothe and uplift. The decor is worldly, and reminiscent of a bygone era. The mosaics are modern, the maps are historic. I try and try but the adeni chai always wins in my book. You can't go wrong with your choice of pastry, and lucky for us their menu is always expanding. Qahwah House oozes hospitality.
This place is a vibe! Very cute decor and setting. Husband and I had the vanilla latte and it was amazing! We also had their spinach feta pastry, yummmmm. I will literally go back just for the pastry. Service was fast and friendly. It's definitely a place you can study at, or meet up with friends. Parking located in the back and the entrance in the back is kind of hidden.

The service was super fast, as well as great staff. Such an amazing experience as well as aesthetically pleasing. Such a beautiful spot to study or to hang out. Definitely come here, and try this place.
Lovely place with outdoor seating as well. Had a try at some Yemeni inspired drinks. Very Aromatic interesting flavors. We we're given the wrong dessert by mistake. Felt bad for the employee who did it as he was reprimanded for it. We weren't upset and they replaced it right away.. They treat their customers fine at least, and I can recommend this place for a different kind of coffee experience. And a good assortment of treats.
This place is very cool and pretty. Looks like a nice patio out back along with some other restaurants, but I'm here in January and that's not gonna happen. My mocha was very good.

I'm new to this particular style of coffee but really enjoyed it. The Yemeni latte was just sweet enough with a warm, pleasing blend of spices. Not quite chai, not quite pumpkin spice, but a spiced, lightly floral blend. Paired with the honeycomb pastry and enjoyed on the patio out back, it was an incredible afternoon snack! Order at the counter and pick up when it's ready. For the honeycomb pastry you'll have the option of getting the honey on the side or having them drizzle it over. I opted to have it on the side in case we didn't finish the pastry--which was a rookie mistake, we housed it with no regrets. Just get the drizzle. read more

Wow I wish we had a coffee house like this in north Jersey! Loved the atmosphere of the place and it had endless options- we tried the honeycomb bread with honey which was delicious at the yemini coffee- can't wait to go back to Dearborn to try it! read more
Walking in here felt like I got teleported straight to Yemen or Jordan, minus the jet lag and my uncle yelling at me to get married. The smell of cardamom and coffee wasn't just good, it was like getting a spiritual hug from an angel with perfect skin. The Arabic calligraphy on the wall? Gorgeous... but reading it made me realize I'm now functionally illiterate. Looked like a sacred riddle from God and I failed the test. Then came the pastry. Bro... that pastry was so good it activated fight-or-flight. I legit considered writing it into my will. Halfway through, my stomach did a drum solo and I almost had to change my pants, completely worth it. The coffee? Strong enough to make me text my ex in three different languages. And Kareem... Kareem was nicer than customer service in heaven. If this man ran for president, I'd vote twice. read more

Place: This place is in downtown dearborn and wow a hidden gem. My roommate introduced this to me and the coffee and desserts are A plus. The ambience is perfect to study or just read. The space is huge and so you stay inside or they have a huge courtyard as well. I was shocked and even though the line is long it moves fast. Service: The service was good and I tried the cheese with honey dessert so good. I tried their chai tea and wow was really authentic. Food $: So good worth trying again. It is one of the places I saved on my gps to go again. I promised my roommate we would drive together. Recommendations/tips I recommend trying something new! read more
Came here after dinner with some friends, so glad it wasn't super busy and we could actually sit down and enjoy our time. Adeni tea was perfect, khaliat al nahl could have been more fresh but was still good. Would love to come back again read more

I am addicted to Qahwah House! If you're not from Yemen, and maybe even if you are, this is the best chai latte of my life; others don't even compare. If you love bold teas and coffee, you must come to here. They have the cutest glass pots and cups if you dine in with your group - there's lots of great seating inside and out on the patio. Just lovely on a Sunday or any day. I could happily drink tea here all afternoon. read more

Just gotta stop by and have some caffeine! We shared one of the teas in a teapot, not sure which one. But it was good to share with 4 people. Since it was just me and my sister sharing it, we were able to get 2 cups each. Another friend ordered the same exact tea but got her own cup so she could also drink it on the go. My other sister got a latte to try. We also shared the honeycomb bread. Light and really delicious! Not sure what the cheese is but it was nice!! It had a slight sourness to it that paired well with the honey. They had a handful of other desserts to try, but I didn't know what the other stuff was. There are a number of tables outside and inside. Lots of families came around and groups of friends. It wasn't overly busy, but it got noisy since there were kids. Not a problem though! Parking lot wasn't my fave. We found a spot, but the parking lot fills up fast. The building is attached to another restaurant. Really cool place to check out! read more
Apparently there is a significant Yemeni community in the Detroit area, and this coffeehouse was my introduction to it. They claim Yemen as the origin of coffee, and the store is highlighted by a rather impressive map of trade routes carrying it around the world. However, I am not much of a coffee drinker, and preferred to sample their chai. I was glad I got it with sugar, as the herbal content had an astringent note, but the end result was certainly tasty. Their online menu undersells the variety of sweet and savory pastries they ended up having, and I ended up getting sucked into a Za'atar croissant, which delivered some savory, spicy paste inside, and a caramel cake which was every bit as delicious as it looked. The people there were a mix of hipsters (including one unfortunate soul studying for the US Medical Licensing Exam), and it was a very substantial and well-decorated space to sit in and talk for a while. read more
Delicious coffee and teas!! Using premium organic coffee grown in Yemen, this cafe offers a high quality coffee experience. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our Yemeni Lattes, as well as our pot of Adeni Chai tea. The cardamom was so aromatic and wonderful. I also enjoyed my fresh and flaky chocolate croissant. Excellent, friendly, and fast customer service. Beautiful interior, with beautiful art, and a large map, showing the distribution of coffee arabica. Very spacious and plenty of seating inside, and some outside seating as well. Free public parking lot behind the building. read more

Such a cute cafe. Lots of tables and chairs. Great study spot. Got the adeni chai and the honey comb pastry(Khaliat alnahl). My friends got a matcha latte and mocha latte and loved it. The chai was semi sweet but not very spice dependent 6.5/10. The honeycomb pastry was warm and tasted like cream cheese pastry with honey on the side for you to dip or drizzle 5-6$ 10/10. Loved that the honey container is also reusable in case you'd like to bring the pastry and honey home. Would come again. read more
Out of the country visitors and we were instantly drawn to this place. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the different blend of spices in the air, the walls are covered in art that is not only cultural but very family oriented. They have pictures up of the different family members. It truly felt as though i was visiting my Yemini's friends house. Its the perfect place to gather with friends and family to enjoy warm cup of Adani chai. Ambiance 5/5 Adani Chai - very flavorful, comes brewed to perfection & temperature Khallat Alnahl - cheesy puffy bread with honey drizzled on top is the perfect way to example it. Accompanies the cha very well Sambosa - tried the meat option and was pleased as well. Overall, will definitely return to this location when visiting again. read more
ADENI CHAI & HONEYCOMB BREAD! ..... thats what we always get and crave for! This place reminds me of the Irani Cafes in Pune! We have visited this atleast 5-6 times now and enjoy the ADENI CHAI & HONEYCOMB bread here. The atmosphere is so lively and its always packed with people ; be it a weekday at 1am in the night or a Sunday afternoon. The type of crowd is classy and service is fast, even with a busy crowd. The interior decor is unique and one of a kind ; the outside seating area during the warmer months is a relaxing hangout place too. There is lots of parking at the back of the building on the other side of Michigan Avenue and it is located at a perfect spot within Dearborn. I would love to visit this place often and enjoy the Adeni chai & Honey comb bread! Did I mention - my favorite things to get here are ADENI CHAI & HONEYCOMB bread? read more
I went for a yelp tasting event. This was a fun experience and I loved the chance to try all the different things. We tried a variety of the teas and coffees and I recommend the Adeni chai tea. It was a nice flavor with the perfect blend of spices. The coffee I preferred was the Mofawar. This has condensed milk and cardamom. This gives a warming flavor. I'd recommend with a little bit of sugar. Both pastries, Sabaya and Khaliat alnahi were great. The khaliat is a fluffier dough with pockets of cream cheese. This is better to take home but my preference leads to the sabaya. The flaky dough with a nice layer of honey. Yum! read more
Arabic coffee and tea . I tried both of yamanni tea and Adani tea. Adani tea is bitter and has strong flavor and spices. Yamanni tea is my favorite. It is sweet and just right flavors of cardamom and clove spices. They are Famous for thier pastry . It called Khalyatnahl . It is slice of cream cheese balls covered with honey syrup. Very soft and delicious. The decorations and the vibes are arab culture inspired. The walls are covered with nice Arabic fonts. I like this place. read more

Due to covid, I try to get here early to get a seat near the plug. 90 minutes suggestion per party. They do sanitizer between guest. Drinks: the Yemen latte wasn't caffeinated enough for me. I tried both warm and iced and it did not do it for me. I would avoid this drink if you're an avid coffee drinker The adeni coffee, the entire pot was kept warm by a candle which was adorable. However, this drink was way more caffeinated and I enjoyed it much more and would suggest it. Compared to the other location: for the purposes of studying or meeting a friend I suggest this location. I find that the other location is extremely loud and it's hard to hear others. I think it's the way the chairs are set up here that makes it more intimate. Mask are required but not everyone follows the rules so I make sure I find a space away from others. Service: The service is super friendly and nice. The speed really depends on who's working though. read more
Best place for yemeni coffee/chai. This location is pretty big and has a nice cozy ambiance. It can get very busy on weekends and hard to get a table. They usually open the outside area in back for extra seating. My go to order is the Adeni chai. I like that the cardamom flavor isnt so overwhelming. The sabaya and honeycomb bread is a must and pairs perfectly with chai. read more
This is a great place to meet a friend and have a chat. I LOVE the honey comb bread (sorry I feel bad I don't know the yemini name). But wow it's so good. The only issue is last time I had it at this location, the bread was hard and almost crunchy. I happened to be in Lombard, Illinois and to my surprise, I saw a Qahwah house there. I showed my cousin this place and the honey comb bread was so fresh and soft. I'm not a big caffeine person because I'm too sensitive to it. But the adeni chai tea is so good and a nice way to share a drink with a friend! The inside is super cute and the service is fine. read more
