One of the most recent additions has been Cafe Europe. It's hard to classify it but the best description I would say is cosmopolitan casual. Their specialty is Belgian waffles, both sweet and savory. The also have BEAUTIFUL pastries and chocolates. The menu isn't unusually large but there is something for everybody. Influences are Middle Eastern, French, Italian and American. The decor is modern but comfortable. Prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and efficient. This is nice place for a lunch date or to get a sweet for your sweetie. For me it was worth it just for the coffee. It's hard to find a restaurant, even a coffee shop, that makes a decaf that actually tastes like coffee but Cafe Europe got it. I'll be back.

The inside had two countertops for seating near the front windows and some small round tables in an area around the corner from the service counter. Baked goods were on display in a glass case at the counter. I placed an order for a Strawberry Muffin, which was not a common flavor, and a Mango Refresher. The muffin was moist while the refresher was made up using a base of coconut milk blended with natural mango flavor infused with coconut water, electrolytes, essential vitamins, minerals, and green coffee extract. I think in hindsight a base of lemonade would have tasted more refreshing as the coconut milk didn't have the same effect. While waiting for my items, I sat at a countertop and did some laptop work using their free WiFi signal. The place was fairly cozy for a coffee shop although its location was not prominent like near a major intersection. The ladies who staffed the counter were very pleasant.
