Well, I don't mean to keep writing updates around loss but here we are! Last weekend would have been my grandma's birthday so my mom and I wanted to bring some fresh flowers to her gravesite which is near this Thrifty. It was the first birthday without her since she passed so stopping in was hard but the staff here was very kind. We picked out a lovely bouquet and they trimmed the flowers and gave us the cone for the site. The flowers were in beautiful condition and priced really reasonably. They also have a large selection of artificial flowers, too, plus decorative pieces for home and garden, and lovely gifts for special occasions like baptism, communions, weddings, birthdays, etc. I definitely will be regularly stopping in for some fresh blooms when going to spend some time at the cemetery. read more

The delivery was made as requested. However, I paid for a premium bouquet for my nieces 30th birthday and what was delivered to her barely qualifies as a standard arrangement. I had her send a pic to me upon delivery and was highly disappointed in the final product. I immediately sent an email using the "contact us" link on their website and received a notification the next day that the link was invalid. I tried again and the same thing happened. I live in Chicago but my 90 something year old Granny lives in Dearborn. I don't think I have ever physically been to their store but I did find them on Yelp. When I can't make it home to see my Granny for important occasions like mothers day, birthdays, ect ect I almost always order from these guys. Since my Grandma is home alone most of the day, I have always been concerned about her being able to receive the deliveries- with Thirty, we have never had a problem. Orders always arrive when they say they will and my Grandma always love the bouquets. They honestly have the best selection for each occasion and they're prices are extremely fair. With the exception of big holidays like mother days, they can always accommodate same day delivery. Also their website is on point making it easy to see their inventory and place your order with out ever have to call or talk to a person, which I personally love. Did I mention their prices? Recently we sadly lost my mother and my sister heard about Thrifty Florists in Dearborn. Knowing that I prefer to call a local florist and avoid the 1 800 BigBucks chain, I contacted Thrifty for a floral arrangement. Remembering that my mother liked to watch the birds with me at our house in El Cerrito, California, I was so happy to see their birdbath arrangement with two birds and lovely living plants and some flowers. Ordering online was very very easy and their site was user friendly. My family confirmed that the delivery occurred as assigned to the funeral home and my sister in Dearborn Heights has now placed the birdbath in her garden in memory of our Mom. I too had purchased the bird bath planter on more than one ocassion and will only order this centerpiece when available..When possible I give advice on how to use it when the plants die or just get tired of having a planter..Clean it out and use it for a table setting for fruits, or breads at a party or change arrangement for Holiday Table settings..This planter has 9 lives and it is only your imagination that can keep it going..The owner and his wife put in the extra effort always and the shopping experience is always interesting and cordial.
