I ordered a beautiful vase for the flowers for my mom's 95th birthday a couple of days ago. I asked for something tall and with white roses and pastel colors, preferably pink which my mom loves. The arrangement I received was approximately 28 inches tall in a lovely bubble vase. The photos I posted doesn't do the arrangement justice because it is absolutely lovely. I told the woman I wanted a taller vase and something pretty and different. It's hard to tell in the photograph but the bubble vase is beautiful. The arrangement was packed with beautiful flowers and greenery. The quality of the flowers was great. The roses were really beautiful and fresh and so were the hydrangeas and other items in the arrangement. Because this was a large and heavy arrangement, they carefully packaged it in a box to contain the vase so I could more easily get it in my car and transport it over to my mom. That worked out great. This flower shop is beautiful to walk around inside as well. They have so many options to choose from and a variety of accessories as well as other plants for summertime. When I called to place my order the woman I spoke to explained different options for me according to my budget and she help me decide what would be the best option for me given what I had in mind for my mom. The only glitch was I was supposed to pick my order up after 3 PM on Friday and they had it marked for Saturday so it wasn't ready when I got there around 4 PM. That said, the woman who was there handled it professionally and put together the arrangement on the spot for me. I'm not discounting any stars in my rating for this just mentioning to be sure if you're placing an order that you confirm the date and time pick up that's all. My mom was so surprised and thrilled to see this big beautiful arrangement come through the door when I brought them to her. I haven't bought her flowers in a long time and my dad used to purchase them for her before he passed away a few years ago. I was so happy my mom was happy. I will definitely shop here again given the good experience I had for this special occasion. read more

I was introduced to Vanessa's when my girlfriend sent the most beautiful bouquet of flowers. They were so bright and fresh! I couldn't stop smiling! To top that off, these beauties lasted for 1 month. Now this is my favorite small business flower shop! I had the opportunity to go back to shop for a girlfriend's birthday. The shop is sooo cute! I selected what my friend ordered for me since they brought me so much joy. I was able to add special touches which include green tissue paper and ribbon, her favorite colors! I called several florists for a floral arrangement to be sent to a friend who has been in an accident, I needed the arrangement delivered the same day. I called by 11:15, Vanessa's flowers stated they would be able to deliver within a few hours. It was a special order item, but they had all the flowers and vase needed. I've used Vanessa's Flowers, in the past, for my Sister who lives in Plymouth - always happy with service and Sister always loves the floral. My 92 year old Mom was to move to Assisted Living in Plymouth on Friday. I ordered a beautiful arrangement for the family to assist in welcoming her to her new apartment there. Look no further. My Sister and I sought out a florist over 10 mos ago to handle our Mother's funeral flowers. My Sister and I are researchers and very picky about choosing anything, especially when it involves our Mother. Vanessa's was the first stop and became our first choice after meeting with two other florists, including the one recommended by the funeral home. We met with Katrina and we both came away knowing she was our floral Gal. Katrina had compassion and patience as she listened to my Sister and I describe our Mother's taste in floral design and what we envisioned for Mom. As we looked through the standard book designs and further discussed the colors and types of flowers Mom liked, Katrina made detailed notes and kindly acknowledged us as we verbalized our ideas to change the typical book designs. Well, needless to say, although the hospital predicted Mom's passing imminently, Mom bounced back and stayed with us another 10 months! Fast forward, upon Mom passing last week, we called Vanessa's, spoke with Katrina, and she not only remembered us but still had her notes saved from our meeting 10 mos ago, as well as saving a memorial plaque we had wanted but not paid for! When we met with Katrina for the second time to review our previous choices we told her we had the utmost confidence and trust in her choosing and making Mom's flowers tastefully and to our liking. Wow! We were overwhelmed with the freshness and beauty of all Mom's arrangements, they were beyond our expectations! Finally a winner!!! After years of ordering online or by phone from various flower vendors around the country (only to be sadly disappointed by the quality of product or delivery) I've found someplace I will make my "go to" for all occasions. A few short days before Valentine's Day I did the unthinkable. I hopped on my computer to search for any random local shop that would deliver a bouquet to my much deserving wife. I accidentally happened upon Vanessa's Flowers and clicked on photos of Valentines arrangements. Reluctantly I chose one that looked great with no hopes of receiving anything even close in quality. I set up delivery day and time, again with no hopes of the goods getting to me anywhere near on time. Well... not only did a smiling and courteous driver show up at our door right on schedule but the bouquet was even more beautiful than pictured. Yes, more beautiful. I happened to get my nails done next door and ventured in to see the most beautiful flowers on display , Kinda a pick and make your own bouquet although the staff does it for you . I asked for what I needed with out much instruction and holy mother was it delivered . Stunning , gorgeous , breathtaking . I had only been in there one time but my second time inside they all said hello and remembered me by name . Pricing is on par with other flower shops , i would even argue it's a slight better value for the quality here . They went out of their way to deliver Mother's Day flowers that were specific to her tastes and did it so eloquently . If you live near by and need an arrangement for anyone or anything I highly suggest you stop in and let them create something gorgeous .
