This is our first visit to this location but have been many times to the one in Shohomish and Smokey Point on the west side of the state. We are typically never disappointed and the Spokane location might just be our favorite (lucky us since we just moved back). The staff as super friendly. If I could give zero stars I would! Informed after 45 minutes they had no fries. My sons plate had hair in it. The manager, some female was very unprofessional and condescending. We sat for over an hr and a half and my husband was served a cold plate with tomatoes and he may have cursed in discussing his frustration to our family at our table and this very unprofessional lady came over and basically asked my husband is he going to shut his mouth so they can remake his plate or not? However, the restaurant was not well kept...floors and bathrooms were quite dirty, menus were sticky and greasy, the booth and table were sticky and hadn't been wiped well. We made a mistake and didn't realize that the nachos came with corn (which I'm allergic to), and then there was a mix up on my brothers order, and they ended up comping both of the items. I've driven through the area many many times it I didn't get a chance to try this place. It looked like a sports bar with TVs and bar area. There were Happy Hour and food was pretty reasonable. We loved their garlic fries and ribs. We'll go again to try other menu for sure:) read more

Wow, was that ever Flippin' Great!! disclaimer : while arranging a lunch with friends on the north end, I suggested McKenzie River Pizza, however, that located is still closed. Scott suggested Hops n Drop, half-a-block away . . . . Their house lager and porter are very good! Ordered my standard order, fish and chips, but had them make the fries into 'garlic fries'. The fish was great, four thin cut pieces in a very light batter . . . perfect! The fries, oy, I shouldn't have finished all of them but they were soooo good! Perfect, guys! Call headquarters and tell them to put one in on the south end of town!!! read more

Just finished a business lunch at this restaurant, we chose this place due to location to office and due it knowing the company history. I ordered the chicken strips, and was immediately disappointed. The strips were rubbery and overcooked. I told the waiter and he was nice as took them away. He came back after walking around the restaurant holding my plate and then returned to tell me the manager said that 9 out of 10 chicken breasts have tough pieces..... I have had chicken before as I wasn't born yesterday so yeah I get that. The problem wasn't that issue, the strips tasted as if they were frozen and then cooked in oil not to temperature. He offered to refute a new plate or I could eat what I was given.... I refused and opted to not have anything. I don't blame the waiter as he was professional and sweet. I blame this manager who by the way looked like a slob. He had long greasy hair and he should of stopped by our table to apologize. Instead he interacted with his cronies that were sitting also in the bar with their dreadlocks. Sad to say I won't ever bring my business associates to this place nor will I return. read more

I had been here before during lunch and ordered a salad which was very good. Tonight though, it was a completely different experience. They were busy on a Friday night which is to be expected. We were greeted right away by a very friendly and helpful greeter who told us it would be a 25 minute wait. We were seated within 15 minutes. Our waitress though, was definitely not on her "A"game. She seemed flustered and hurried and didn't even recognize my husband's order until we showed her it was on the seasonal menu. We waited quite a while for our food. When it did arrive my burger was completely overdone and my husband didn't even get what he had ordered but kept it anyway as he didn't want to wait any longer for his meal. We waited 15 minutes to get out check because our waitress was caught up with a large table of guests. From what I could tell she was having a difficult time getting the right checks to the appropriate people and it took several attempts. Finally another waitress brought us our check and took care of us. I was very disappointed as I specifically talked highly of the restaurant to my husband and was excited to have a great meal and service which it was not. My fiancé and I went here for dinner last night because we had a gift card. Wasn't the biggest fan, just another casual burger place. I understand that food is getting expensive especially because of COVID, but I think $7.50 for a small bowl of French onion soup is a bit steep. The cheese was layered about a 1/2 inch and was too thick for my taste and a bit difficult to cut through with a spoon. I don't know how other restaurants or eating establishments are dealing with this, but my wife and I went to "Hops n Drops" at the corner of Nevada St & Horner Av in the northern part of Spokane last Tuesday (Mar 10, 2020). This was our 2nd visit since its opening and the food was plentiful and delish. Unlike our last visit, we noticed the had an employee opening the door for guests when they arrived and left - so the customers wouldn't have to touch the door (to combat the spread of the coronavirus I would assume). They had a booth set up closest to the door with two stacks of menus - one was used by the customers (dirty) and one was clean and disinfected for incoming guests. When a guest was done ordering, their menu was picked up, sprayed with disinfectant and wiped with a disinfectant wipe before placing it on the "clean" stack. It was not busy when we were in the restaurant, but I did notice they had seated their guests in booths as far away as practical from other guests. The server was friendly and attentive. At this time, it looks like "Hops n Drops" is doing everything to prevent the spread of diseases. We would have NO problem going there again. In fact, we WILL be returning on a regular basis. read more

It was my first time in today and the food was really good and so was our experience! We were greeted and seated by our server Russ. He was very knowledgeable about their beers so we ordered two in house brews. Super yummy! Then we told him it was our first trip in so he got us some house made chips to sample with our beers-which we really appreciated :) He recommended different dishes that were his favorite and said they are known for their burgers. My boyfriend got the steakhouse burger and I got the triple chicken sandwich and we really liked them. The GM Larry came by to check on how we were enjoying things so we gave rave reviews on the meal and service. They have a decent happy hour that has a number of food items on it and deals on drinks. I got a the melon margarita and it was a little too sugary for me but still very good! The service was amazing. Our server made sure to get our order in before HH ended, gave us all the sauces for our fries, checked in on us multiple times, and gave us recommendations for food and drinks as well as what the best deals are. The food came out pretty fast too. We were very happy with our experience! We got the French onion soup, fries, the avocado chicken salad, BLT, and a burger.
