This is a good Hops and Drops location. The food met my expectations and the service was good.

Chicken fried steak, eggs and smash potatoes.

We came in for breakfast and had the chicken fried steak, eggs and potatoes. It was delicious! Server was attentive and came back several times to make sure we didn't need anything else. The ambiance was great too.

Our neighborhood all around family friendly, dog friendly go to. The food is always great. I get the bbq chicken wrap with the buffalo sauce and the tots. The tots are the best! Service is speedy and friendly. What else can I say? It's the hoppiest droppiest good time.

Nachos with lots of toppings, just not much cheese.

Came to share an order of nachos. You expect ooey gooey cheesy goodness. What we got was very tasty but not cheesy at all. The little bit of shredded cheese wasn't even melted. When I asked for a side of queso, was told couldn't have it because it is pre-portioned for the chips. Who pre-portions queso? If you don't want dry nachos without much cheese, then you'll like these. Stick with the burgers! They're fabulous!

CHICKEN SANDWICH lettuce wrapped and added crispy onions.

Our server was super friendly, and the tater tots and fruit-flavored lemonade are the highlights. The burgers and sandwiches are pretty good, but not as good as the tater tots

We have a great time at work! I love Hop Jacks

My goodness was all the food absolutely delicious. I can't recommend this place more. The pretzels there are so unique and delicious. Best pretzels ever. Had there shrimp tacos that was a flavor melody I wasn't expecting and it left me wanting more. Finally the strawberry oat bar was simply the best tasting thing I've had in a while and it melted in your mouth. Soooooo amazing! The ambience was a bit loud as it is a small space but I wouldn't want it to be any bigger other wise you would be able to see the amazing chef's in the kitchen whipping up your food. Over all this place is definitely worth checking out and I will be back soon!

We went to Cascadia Public House on a Sunday with pretty high expectations after reading so many…read moregood reviews, but unfortunately it was a letdown from start to finish. The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Honestly, Wooden City really lives up to its hype. It's an upscale spot right in downtown Spokane,…read morebut still feels warm and lively instead of overly formal. Definitely one of the best-quality restaurants in the city, where every dish was thoughtfully made and packed with flavor. What we ordered: Starters: - Spring Salad: Super fresh and well-balanced. The snap peas were crisp, with strawberries added for sweetness, and the goat cheese + pistachios gave it a creamy, nutty contrast. The lemon & tarragon vinaigrette tied everything together with a light, herby flavor. - Jerk Cauliflower: Crunchy cauliflower with Caribbean spices with a creamy jerk sauce, good as a side Appetizers: - Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp: Really juicy and spicy from the Cajun spice. There's butter to dip in but I found it too greasy and prefer lemon instead. - Blistered Hungarian Peppers: Smoky pepper with some sweetness and savory from the sausage and cheddar. Served with a toasted focaccia that soak up all the sauce. Main dishes: - Chicken Schnitzel: One of the must-orders. Crispy, golden breading, super tender inside. The lemon & caper butter sauce added acidity and richness that elevated the whole dish. Yoy have to order extra because it's never enough for the table. Yes, it's that good. - Marbled Duroc Pork Chop: Another favorite . Juicy and tender, with 'nduja salsa brava bringing a spicy depth, while lemon tahini and marcona almonds added creaminess and crunch. I always missed tasting this dish like my first time - Beet Ravioli: Earthy and slightly sweet flavor, nice texture but I hate goat cheese so I'm not really a fan of this dish - Pesto Bacon Pizza: Delicious crunch, loved the combo of mozzarella and gorgonzola, kind of creamy with a bit of funk. Balsamic do help balance and gave it a sweet tangy flavor, or else it would be too heavy for me (yes, not a pizza fan) Drinks & Dessert - Not Mai Tai mocktail: very aesthetically looking drink, but a bit too sweet to my liking - Apple crisp: cozy and warm, with baked apple & pecan crumble and served with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious ice cream. - Pumpkin cheesecake: My 3rd favorite of the night, I still dream about it!! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, you shouldn't skip this!!! That said, I do have to take away a couple points for timing. Our foods took 45 mins to come out even though I had reservations and note the menu items via the email, and the wait time between each dish was also... very confusing. It broke the flow of our meal. But once the food hit the table, it was hard to stay mad, so I forgave them.

I feel like I just went to a dress rehearsal about a play about a group of friends who got together…read moreand said "How about we open a restaurant? That would be fun!" Tonight was just so strange. First, I had no idea who was an employee. There were two girls that were going around together over and over, they kept stopping at tables so I think they worked there...but they never had anything in their hands. Our server seemed to keep forgetting we were there. Or just forgetting she was employed in general. Seriously just not with it. She was very nice...when she remembered we were there. I will say the pizza crust tasted amazing. So many places that serve pizza think of the crust as just something to put toppings on, but this had great flavor. Sadly, it was rolled too thin and said toppings made it somewhat soggy. Caesar salad was ok. Romaine was really fresh and crisp and the homemade croutons were still a little warm. Very good. However, the dressing was rather bland. And when I asked for pepper for it, our waitress first had it in her head that I expected some kind of peppers on my salad. When she finally understood I meant black pepper, she went away. Eventually she returned. Not with a pepper grinder or a shaker, but a sauce bowl that had about 3 tablespoons of black pepper in it. I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. I think if a grown up showed up and brought the kids into line, this place would be amazing. Also, for what we paid, I expected to be wowed, not left wondering what I just experienced.

This flavorful dish was beautifully presented with ample prawns. It was extra saucy and a on the sweet side, which I didn't expect for phad thai but was glad I tried . I'm not sure I'd call it phad thai and that's probably the disconnect. It's more of a veggie and prawn noodle dish with a small Asian flair, definitely not a glamorous name , haha!
