Hops n Drops is a great local spot! I have never heard of or seen the icy drop drinks they have but, they are so unique and cool! It keeps your drink super cold and they have delicious flavors like the Sour patch and the Rainbow (skittles)! I don't know if these are exclusively a Hops n Drops thing or if other places have cups made of ice but, they should! We were really impressed with their drinks so, we decided to order food and that did not disappoint either! My favorite are their different flavored Mac n cheeses and they have a wide variety of other dishes such as, burgers, salads, sandwiches and wraps. I cannot recommend Hops n Drops enough! We discovered them earlier this year, just before this pandemic shut everything down. We had a great dine-in experience two weeks before they temporarily closed. It was happy hour on a Thursday. Such great service, fun mixed drinks, plenty of beers on tap, and really excellent food. We had no idea what to expect and everyone loved their meals - raved about the flavors and freshness. Boom. Repeat customers. Then the 'Rona hit. Since they've reopened, we've ordered from them FOUR TIMES (it's been two weeks) and we continue to be blown away every time. Definitely would not be my first choice. To start, the ambience is off. They have very bright overhead lights that don't dim and the glare is uncomfortable. We started with the queso, which was just ok. It didn't really impress. The burgers came next and they were pretty good. As far as the drinks go, we didn't try the Drops. They didn't really explain them much. To top it off, the lime on my drink had seen much better days. Came here for lunch with my wife and toddler son. The front staff were very friendly and promptly seated us. They provided a crayons, coloring paper and a high chair for my son. The restaurant was clean and well kept, we did sit for about 10 mins without being greeted by our server which was a little frustrating despite the fact they weren't that busy. However after the initial wait she was very attentive and did a good job. As for the food I really enjoyed the cream cheese stuffed jalapeños burger and my wife was raving about her rise and shine grill cheese. As for another reviewer I agree that this place is a little pricy especially for lunch but in my opinion the food was good enough to justify it. This classic spot is a great convenient spot right off of Wads to get a burger or other American classic comfort foods. The service is very friendly and lots of seating and menu options. They do seem to get pretty busy which is usually a good sign but can sometimes lead to a less than ideal experience. My friends and I met here for brunch and we had no problem getting a table, which really shocked me. After our experience today I would think this place would have a line out the door! Came to this restaurant because we were starving and it has been recommended to us for a while but we are never in this area! I'm quite impressed by the quality and portion sizes! They have a wide variety of items on the menu and the staff is extremely friendly. We had to take the food carry out with recent COVID restrictions, but look forward to eating inside one day. The staff was beyond grateful for our business, and we even found a nice note in the bag. We ordered the Triple Threat Crispy Chicken Sandwhich and Big Tony's BBQ Mac. I honestly don't think I have ever been so full yet still wanted more. The flavor combinations are fantastic, and unique without being weird. We got a side of the garlic tots, and although they were great we couldn't stop tasting garlic for hours haha. Kudos to this place! When you have a hankering for a burger in the middle of a pandemic, it's disappointing when even your favorite places deliver a soggy, kinda warm burger with mushy fries. We gave HopsnDrops a shot and we're so glad we did. The burgers arrived hot and delicious. I had the mushroom burger and hubby had the Black n Bleu. Both burgers were full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and still hot when we opened the bag! I had onion rings, which were crunchy and fresh; hubby had the housemade chips and I could hear the crunch across the room. But maybe the best of all of it was the creamy delicious cheesecake. I'm a purist so I had to try their plain cheesecake (so few places offer it without sauce or fruit). Very good! (if it didn't have a crust, I'd be even happier!) Well done to the folks at HopsnDrops! It's okay. The service and atmosphere are great but the food was forgetful. This is not a knock on the cooks by any means. I believe they cooked it exactly as they are told to. The tempura shrimp was heavily battered and lackluster. For $15 I was expecting more. The French Dip doesn't come with cheese as I'm sure our server gets used to saying by default and asked if I wanted to add some. The prime rib looked pale like the handmade potato chips and tasted ok. My wife ordered the chicken salad which looked like something we half hastily could of prepared at home. The beer on the other hand was delightfully cold. 34 degrees as the menu stated. Ordered the left hand brewed hops n drops amber which was good. Didn't order the drops but saw them go out and looks bigger than the pictures. I will try this place again and order one of their burgers since that is what they are known for.
