The teachers are so loving and clearly care deeply for the kids. My baby bursts into a big smile each morning when we drop him off with his teachers. We get daily updates on bottles/food and diaper changes, plus photos of him solo and him interacting with the other babies in the classroom. From the time you step in the (secure) door, until the time you come to retrieve your child, you can trust that they are in great hands. KRK offers live video feed for you to check-in at any time during normal operating hours, as a perk. The teachers/staff here are highly rated. The amount of care, enrichment, and level of details offered can't be beat!! I have witnessed the amount of attention paid to kids from the infant room and above. To see them have a conversation with an infant using sign language was a true highlight. One of the things I love most is that they have several ways to be a part of their growing family, even if you are not currently a daily visitor. They offer after-school and summer camps, before school care, and monthly parents-night-out (PNO) activities. The PNO's are amazing! KRK is like the coolest party in town on these nights. The kids are welcomed and loaded with tons of fun and learning activities. From movies to bounce houses, the kids LOVE it all. Dinner is included with the PNO fee and they typically offer about five (5) hours of care. If that isn't enough, Kids R Kids have the cutest little boo-boo room should your little one fall ill, etc. It's a temporary spot that's set up to care for a sick child. Private bed, initial medical equip (bandages, etc.), and trained staff. This is still a child-care facility, so if you think 'things' will not happen, you are wrong. Kids are kids. They push, they bite, they bicker, they scream, and they kick. The difference is having staff and leadership who will act promptly and appropriately when these things happen. I can attest to being able to address issues to staff and teachers directly. One must be understanding that although their ratios of students:teachers suffice, eyes can not be everywhere at every minute. If you see something, say something. KRK staff offers a REAL open door policy. Talk to them at any time...even if you are just a 'visiting' family. If you are looking for child-care, camps, before/after school care, date night supervision, or private kindergarten, KRK is what you want! Leadership seems to be trying to scam parents to recover losses due to their business risk of staying open during COVID-19 after LCPS had closed. Ultimately the facility was closed for two weeks in March 2020 due to an exposure to COVID-19. I have been in contact with the executive director, Debbie Davis on trying to receive a refund for an overpayment I made back in April. I received two different reasons as why a refund would not be issued; both of which did not make any sense. Reason #1: "We are not able to issue refunds for April as our company has suffered a great loss in enrollment. We can howerver, offer you a credit should you choose to use it. The credit is good for an entire year. " Reason #2: "Item 5 says NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN." I asked for further clarification on this statement and Debbie has stopped all communication. Item 5 clearly states the scenarios on when refunds will not be issued. However, she somehow twisted the clause into no refunds will be given under any circumstances.

If you don't have patience to work with children, then it's in the community's best interest if you find a different profession. I don't know a single healthy parent who supports teachers yelling at their child. Having a firm tone is one thing, but an emotionally charged scream is more than just disrespectful. My daughters taekwondo master is in the business of building confidence... not destroying a kids self esteem.

This is my review from my son: : I liked your indoor camp a lot. It was exciting for all ages, and I met a lot of new friends there who were a lot of fun! There's science experiments and many rooms to explore to do activities in. There are groups in the camp: yellow, red, blue, and purple. The groups all represent different age groups, so you can play with people your age. It's a fun place with everything a child would dream of doing, and the staff are really nice too. There's educational classes for reading and art. The camp also tires out all the children by making lots of play which tires them to sleep extra early. It's a big place with a lot of running around space and do activities inside the building! There are a lot of board games to play such as Monopoly, Bingo, Uno, and Connect 4! A lot of children go there, and plat time, I hope to be there again soon.

The Masters are really encouraging (and sarcastic). I have friends that go there and (I think) they would sleep there sometimes. It's really fun. It's great that they wear uniforms and have names on eir black belts. When there's belt testing, there's a belt ceremony (although you don't have to go and it takes... too long). It's one of the two (maybe three) activities that make me want to exercise, practice, etc.

They duped me into paying a non-refundable registration fee BEFORE allowing me to have a tour of the facility. But that's not the part that stinks..... Their idea of 'outside time' is letting kids play along a concrete alleyway that leads to oncoming traffic (accident waiting to happen). I didn't see ONE staff member outside supervising. The classrooms are filthy. The floors were heavily stained, and the room is over crowded with junk. Small children are forced to use the public/main restroom while the older kids have restrooms inside the classroom (seems backwards) You can't differentiate between staff/teachers and random people off the street because no one wears a uniform -- I wasn't sure who to address upon walking into the building. The issue I struggled with the most is their lack of organization. Parents are forced to put their credit card information on a sheet of paper (for weekly account withdraws) that is kept in a folder out in the open at the front desk. (shouldn't that be under lock and key?) Lastly, I voiced my concern with the office manager and she gave me nothing but attitude. I returned the next day to make sure I wasn't over exaggerating about my initial visit, and the manager looked at me and said 'it's the same as it was yesterday.' That was all the confirmation I needed to ask for my paperwork back and enroll my son elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money.
