This place is so much fun! We had a ladies night of aerial silks and parkour. The staff here was very friendly, fun and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back and soon! Great adult fun and exercise

I took their Intro to Aerial Silks class and was NOT prepared for the workout I would get. I have been looking for new activities to help get me in shape that isn't as monotonous as running or going to a traditional gym, and this is a great solution. Upon arrival, the front desk was helpful, and I was whisked away to the Aerial room quickly. There my teacher, Lauren, guided me through some basic strengthening activities before we started learning skills. Immediately I could tell I was in terrible shape for an activity like this, but Lauren was patient and encouraging. She demonstrated all of the skills for me and helped me when I was struggling or doing something incorrectly. I started getting light headed and shaky at one point and was able to take breaks to ensure I didn't collapse. The class was structured perfectly so that we started with strength building, learned some of the harder techniques and ended with some simpler/less strenuous fun skills (like cocooning)! The best part of trying something like Aerial Silks is that while it is a workout and you're sore/exhausted after, it doesn't feel like a traditional workout. I left feeling like I had learned/accomplished something and I'm ready to go back to my next lesson so I can continue improving and building upon this new skill!

The white wristband for beginner level reminds us that "there is no easy way" - but that doesn't mean it can't be fun learning!

They have pole classes and Lyra and fabric - super fun! They may have more, but those are the ones I've seen and considered. Since I'm relatively new to aerial arts, I've only taken a few classes here for Lyra and fabrics, but I have loved the classes. The class size is 6 or fewer, so your instructor has plenty of time to help you if you're lost, confused or, you know, stuck in the air. The instructors are talented individuals who take the time to model the skills and are adept at figuring out how to help you see the skills from different perspectives. They change cues and point out different muscles, movements and positions to cater to the student. There are mirrors in the front of the aerial studio, so, you can see what you're doing. It is helpful, but it can be a little daunting. I've never had a problem finding parking here. The cost is affordable as far as aerials arts classes are priced. There are options for class packages if you are interested in going regularly. Have fun, it's a blast!

Love this wonderful establishment for the joy, community, fitness, challenges, artistry,…read moreaccessibility and flexibility! While it may be a little strange to get to the location from the strange turn off Carlin Springs Road, then winding your way towards the back in between a church and some other fitness establishment, it is there, so go! They have recently changed the outside decor to have a welcoming, vibrant blue along the wall, so it is easier to find. What can one do here if you've never thought about any of the things they do here? That's up to you. I can only comment on what I've tried out, so far! The studio has plenty of evening classes during the week and a bunch on the weekends during the day and afternoon. Classes vary from stretching and flexibility to conditioning, including focusing on splits, backbends and handstands. They also of course focus on skills like dance trapeze, aerial trapeze, Lyra, silks, handstands, and rope. I'm sure there are more, but I can't remember. I like that the classes complement each other - so maybe go to a stretching/ flexibility class like splits and then go to a Lyra or aerial trapeze class. The classes have different levels, but you first would need to start at an introduction to ... class. There are 2 basic intro. classes - the introduction to hard apparatus (aerial trapeze and Lyra) and the introduction to soft apparatus (silks). They are 2 very different classes, but I guarantee you will feel all the physical demands of fitness by completing one of these classes. Once you complete one of those, you are free to sign up for level 1 classes of those respective apparatuses. Wondering how much stretching you should do before a class? Don't wonder, every class instructor builds in stretching to the class. So, if the class is 1 hour and 30 minutes, at least 10 minutes will help your body get ready for the class, and at least 5 minutes at the end to stretch out as well. For every class I've attended, the instructors are patient, knowledgeable, talented and creative. That means, for someone like me, who is challenged in knowing how to move body parts when I'm hanging upside down or what's forward vs backwards left vs right, they are super helpful to guide you. They are all also very respectful and will interact with you with your pronouns and your level of comfort in how you like to receive instruction. I am super impressed with how the instructors can reevaluate your abilities and needs and help you figure out how to do the things. It looks easy for the instructors/ coaches, but... it's definitely not easy for me, and they never hesitate to help and encourage me. I first started here because I was interested in aerial trapeze, but then I took a few Lyra classes and some silks. Then there were handstand classes, too. I am still most interested in aerial trapeze, but there is only 1 of those level 1 classes a week, and it books up! They do have open studio times for your practicing needs, so that's awesome. I love the silks classes, and there are more of the level 1 classes - they go up to level 3, wow! Handstands are currently once a week, but I've never seen all of the spots taken. It's a great class though! The parking is super easy, and it's free, so that's awesome. However, sometimes, it gets really busy - especially the weekends, but you can generally still find a spot. Try this out if you have any interest in aerial arts. You will love it and be challenged and will go back! See you at Monarca!

The instructor, Kat, was knowledgeable, engaging, welcoming and patient with everyone in the class! We started class with a 20-minute warm-up and then started with basic moves on the silks. We definitely enjoyed the class with Kat, but wanted to try the intro to hard apparatus class which includes working with the lyra and trapeze. Unfortunately, the studio has a 60 day policy to take your second class after taking your first class. This was not made clear to my two friends and I. We asked specifically after our first class if there was a time restriction to take our next class and was told there was no expiration for our second class. However, this was not the same message I received from the staff when I tried to email them to sign up for the second class. This policy is not listed on their website nor on the Groupon, making it very disappointing because we were excited to take another class. I would have highly recommended this studio if this problem was resolved, but the lack of customer service and ability to be flexible with their customers was disheartening.

They only see you as a cash cow, not as a customer (and the membership is twice as expensive as the fanciest gym) and if you complain about anything, they have zero accountability or interest to resolve it. The gym has no limit of people there, they accept everyone, making the experience crowded and not personalized. And yet they don't renovate the facilities nor upgrade their employees. For example, competitions time are scheduled with less than 24h of information. This is unacceptable. They make you drive your child 3h ahead to a far place which is chaotic from an organization standpoint, they put the teams waiting in hallways for to perform less than 2 mins with a team of about 30 people at a time. They don't communicate that they don't want parents in certain areas. There's a woman, Coach Jessica, who treats athletes and parents in a bully and rude way. Both me and my daughter experienced this from her. She doesn't ask, she yells at you, she undermines girls self-esteem and when you complain, the owner's response is unprofessional and protective, instead of acknowledging that there's a recurring issue with this person who works for him. Repost from Google for people that use yelp instead:…read more Here is a long review since I feel there is a lot of things to say. Started off is that for ME this is a five star experience from the first day that I stepped foot in this gym. I am someone who treats the gym like a second home; lift for a couple hours, cardio after, and stretching and recovery. I was tired of all the overcrowded commercial gyms and this place really fit the bill. This gym, in my opinion, is not for everyone though. The $199 price tag per month is over triple the amount of over any other commercial gym in the area, so unless you have more disposable income or really take the gym fairly seriously, then I would think twice. With that said, the price, in my opinion, is well worth it. The staff have all been super nice and Katie was there to hold my hand each step of the way, figuratively, showing everything from the app and amenities, to how to validate the parking. Before I even signed up she made me and my Fiancé feel like VIP guests. Equipment wise there are so many hi-low cables, LAT pulldowns / rows, and leg machines than any other gym 10 times the size would just fill with 100 treadmills rather than equipment people actually use. Machines are PREMIUM and have the best resistant curves and arm paths that I have ever felt. Don't like leg day? I guarantee you'll look forward to them here! Five different squat machine variations, every isolation machine you can think of, they probably have it, and if you don't like machines, well they have five, I think, deadlift platforms that double as squat racks, then and additional two power racks on top of that. I don't think I have ever needed to wait for a machine or piece of equipment besides their gym80 lateral raise machine (oh this machine makes the membership worth it itself) The trainers all seem knowledgeable and are all super friendly if you have a question for them in passing, and I also have seen Tess for their in house nutrition, who was great in giving me the information I needed to reach my goals. Between the gym, PTs, nutrition the only way I can fail is my own willpower to stay consistent. Cardio wise I have never really seen the treadmills completely full, but there aren't too many and there are multiple different brands of treadmills that will spam and minimize your workout until you log in and create some account with them, which is actually super annoying (looking at you technogym!) and I have accidently hit the stop button more times than I can count, which might just be a skill issue, but I haven't had that problem anywhere else so I am nitpicking there. The few times I have used the sauna and steam room it was clean and the people using it were all respectful of space and being sure to cover themselves appropriately. Making it much more comfortable while I am about to pass out while chugging water in the sauna. I have not used the cold plunge nor think I would ever want to so no comment on that. So yeah.... that's it I think. TL;DR: Gym is expensive but if you take the gym and health seriously then it is well worth the price tag, or if you just are in that higher tax bracket lol. So many high quality machines it'll bring a tear to your eye when you first use them. People I have run into are very nice and respectful.

I've been a member at VIDA Fitness for about a year now, and my mom is actually a founding member,…read moreso I've seen the gym from both a long-term and more recent perspective. When I first joined, the experience felt aligned with the "luxury" brand they promote. The classes are still a highlight because they're engaging, well-run, and one of the main reasons I've stayed. I also genuinely like the bar area, and most of the food I've had has been solid. That said, the biggest issue for me, and it's a major one... is cleanliness. It's honestly disturbing to see the same stains on the gym floors day after day. I understand the flooring is a neutral color, but that's not an excuse for it to look visibly dirty all the time. The areas near the windows and equipment are especially bad. At $200/month, I expect a consistently clean facility, and that standard is not being met. The bathrooms are no better. The floors often look stained and unclean, and there are almost never toilet seat covers available in the women's restroom. It feels like basic upkeep is being missed regularly. The cold plunge has also been an issue!! I've gone to use it before and noticed a visible film, which made it completely unusable. That shouldn't happen in a facility marketed as high-end. On top of that, the staff isn't particularly welcoming or attentive, which adds to the overall disconnect between the brand and the actual experience. To be fair, not all of this falls solely on the gym.. many members don't wipe down equipment after using it. But that's exactly why there needs to be stronger oversight and more consistent cleaning protocols in place. During the summer, the rooftop pool gets extremely crowded. The pool itself is nice, but it's clear they need more staffing during peak months. Service becomes very slow, which takes away from what could otherwise be a great amenity. As someone who works in facilities and understands operations, this feels like a management issue. There needs to be more attention to daily maintenance, cleaning standards, and overall quality control. Right now, it simply does not reflect the luxury experience being advertised. I'm willing to give it a little more time to improve, but based on my experience so far, I would rate it a 2.5 out of 5
