    Mushroom Swiss Burger
    Allister D.

From the outside, this place can be mistaken for a daycare or some children's fun place by the way the store sign looks; it's slightly playful and doesn't match the look of a micro brewery/bar restaurant. They serve basic all American type cuisine: Burgers, finger bites, sports bar appetizers, etc. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger which was $22!! This was priced too high for a pretty small burger I thought. The meat quality is just ok too; nothing special. Their fries tasted like Burger King! They taste exactly the same. The poke nachos for $22 were just ok as well. I personally thought there wasn't enough sauce around the fried wonton chips, leaving a handful dry. The pieces of ahi tuna are pretty small which isn't too bad except that the quantity is tiny. Their truffle fries were ok but the powder mix was a bit too salty. The service is pretty solid. Employees were checking on guests frequently and making sure ordered were taken and served on time. There's another tap room next to the main dining area which is a great addition for the beer drinkers. Overall, this place is ok. The food isn't that good but I know the drinking scene would be pretty awesome! Hop deVine is a local icon in the neighborhood and I really hope more people come and try it out. It's a whole different space inside.

Hop DeVine is one of those places that is out of sight, out of mind. It is located off Vaso Road in the northeast side of Livermore. Although it is not a brewery, it definitely has that type of vibe. There are two sides to the inside that are separated by a wall. There is plenty of seating for small and large groups. There is some seating outside also. One side has a full bar and the other side has a large seating area. Both sides have several tv's which are sure to have one of your favorite sports teams playing. The restaurant has a subtly nod to law enforcement with a blue line flag and law enforcement patches from several agencies displayed on the wall. Our waitress greeted us shortly after being seated. There were eleven of us in our group. She did a great job hussling around for such a large group. I ordered the Asian Chicken Wrap with fries. When I initially saw the portion size, I was concerned. However, I felt the wrap with fries was the perfect amount. It was delicious and not overfilling. The crispy chicken on the inside was tender and had a nice crunch. The fries also had a nice crunch and taste. We had a really good experience here with some tasty food and a fun vibe. If I have one negative thing to say about this place, it's the menu pricing. I felt that $28 for the wrap, fries and a soft drink was pretty steep compared to other options.

First time here for lunch with my sister. The ambience is very family friendly Sports Bar. Restaurant divided into 2 sections, one for customers who want to enjoy a more quiet experience with lots of individual tables. The other side is Sports bar heaven. Open seating on large picnic tables TVs abound with a great view no matter where you sit. Saw lots of families enjoying Sunday football. Service was great and right on top of getting menus, silverware, etc ! Big menu with breakfast, brunch and full lunch available. Huge selection of on tap Beers, full bar. We ordered one of the scrambles and it was enough to take home left overs for next day. Delish!

First of all we love Hop Devine. The food, drinks and most of the food is great. With that being said I tried the grilled cheese the last two visits. The first time the bread was barely toasted/grilled...looked like plain white bread. It was sent back to the kitchen where it was properly cooked and it was delicious. The second time I ordered it I told our nice server I'd like it heavily grilled and she made a note to the kitchen. This time it was kinda toasted/grilled but it was tasteless. Come on Hop Devine I hope the kitchen can figure out how to make a grilled cheese.

I ordered the Brussels Sprouts, the Avocado Chicken Caesar Salad, and the Lychee Peachy cocktail and everything was absolutely delicious! The salad was especially wonderful, I finished the entire plate. I also tried a few of my friend's French fries and they were tasty and had a nice crunch. The Lychee Peachy cocktail was so good, I had to order a second one. Our server, Tori (hope I'm spelling that right!), was incredibly sweet, fun, and accommodating. She gave us great recommendations and really made the experience even better. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day, which made everything even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Driven by many times. Heard former co-workers talk about Hop DeVine. Finally made a lunch date with SO. Lots of parking since it's in a strip mall on Vasco Rd. We arrived about 2PM, not busy & immediately seated. They are 2 seating areas, a "bar" area & a "dining" area. The "bar" area has large picnic/family style seating while the "dining" area has booth & tables. Regardless of which area you select, it's very family friendly. There's a great family & friend vibe! There are multiple TVs. Some with the many tap offerings & others with sports broadcasts. The menu is awesome! Something for everyone! The salad selections are awesome! A menu with these offerings make decisions difficult! I think we needed 10 minute to decide! For the starters we went with the Calamari & the Brussels sprouts. The starters were out first in about 10 minutes. The serving size of the Calamari was small IMHO for the price. The Brussels sprouts was huge! The Calamari unfortunately was 1-2 minutes shy of being done. The sriracha aioli was more aioli than sriracha which is fine. I like spicy, but I know that not every doesn't like spicy. It was tasty. Would not order again because of the serving price & price. The Brussels spouts, OMG! Roasted, tasty awesomeness! Enough for 4-5 people. If you don't like Brussels sprouts, you haven't tried these! We will order again. I ordered the fish & chips, SO ordered the Poke salad. The fish & chips are amazing! The batter is thin & chrispy! Perfectly cooked! Not a tartar sauce fan, but it was tasty. With lemon, salt, and malt vinegar, it rocked! I had a bite, a couple bites, of the Poke salad. Wow! Great flavors! Winner Winner Poke dinner. Great, well-balanced flavors. We were looking at the menu trying to decide what we would try on our next visit! If this is in your area or if you are nearby, check it out!

My husband has been here many times as he works nearby. I was able to finally come check it out when we met up with some of his co workers for a small retirement party. Staff did an amazing job taking care of multiple orders/tickets and people showing up at different times. We stopped here again today on our way home from an event. The restaurant is unassuming and clean. Staff are helpful and hardworking. There is a nice selection of drinks and a huge selection of beer. If you have a favorite and don't see it on the menu you can always ask your server. They may have it in cans. I can't say much for the food cause I've only gotten the poke nachos and the onion rings. Both are done exquisitely. Go , now! Get the nachos :) you won't be disappointed.

    Angry Bird Sandwich

I always enjoy exploring neighborhood restaurants with my Dad who lives in Livermore. Many of his coworkers have raved about Hop DeVine and enjoyed their meals. So after a work-from-home day, we chose to come here for dinner and drinks! The restaurant is easy to locate within Vasco Plaza. It's humongous in size and a great place to host families, parties, and other gatherings. There's a casual vibe to it, and basic decor, all with friendly and non-pretentious service. However, we felt rushed at times being offered take-out boxes and having our dishes cleared before finishing. Typical bar bites and American fare are found here--appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches. My Dad got the French Dip while I had the Angry Bird. I'll say we both liked our drinks more than the food. The Angry Bird sounded great on the menu but I found it lacking in flavor. The Turkey tasted like typical deli meat, the sriracha mayo was minimal and had no spice, and there wasn't much seasoning to it. The best part for us both was the fries. I wouldn't mind coming back, but I'd get something different. For those looking for a down-to-earth atmosphere in Livermore, Hop DeVine is laid-back with nice service and decent food. Find them in Vasco Plaza with plenty of parking out front in the lot.

    Old fashioned

I was in The area for work and stopped in for pretzel bites, ahi poke salad, and an Old Fashioned, everything was on point with super fresh ingredients! Staff was friendly and got us served fast. Tons of space for groups and comfy seating too. If I'm in the area again, I Will definitely be back! The food was so good I forgot to take a pick of the food.

Since I was last here, their seating has doubled with the addition of taking over the space next-door. You now enter from the corner entrance and find your own seating. Staff is attentive and greet you as soon as you walk in the door. This time I decided to try something different and got the chicken ranch sandwich which in the description is fried chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato with ranch dressing on a sesame seed roll. I asked for the role to be replaced with sourdough and the ranch dress seem to omit the ranch. I was anticipating a crispy fried chicken patty with slices of bacon. Instead, I received two thin lightly fried pieces of chicken with bacon, bits, and melted cheese on top. Chicken didn't appear to have. The chicken was lightly seasoned and tasted more on the blah side, especially next to their beer, battered fries. Their side salad is spring mix with diced tomatoes on top and a nice addition for only $3.50 I was sad to learn that their coconut shrimp was no longer available.

We stopped for a quick drink before we went in for dinner to another restaurant nearby. We had been trying to visit this place but were always missing out so this time we grabbed the chance and were blown away . The place was hopping with multiple families, all enjoying a late Friday evening and we immediately felt this could our regular place for a Friday beer. Since I had a sore throat I ordered hot toddy which was made well and warm. Better half had her fill on a beer which she settled on after some tries. We ordered onion rings who and piping hot and crispy outside but fresh and crunch inside. All the while being served by a very friendly and courteous wait staff at the bar. The place is spacious and with communal and formal seating as well. Keeping fingers crossed this becomes our regular weekend haunt and we happen to meet you on your visit here!

The food here is consistently good, and they serve some of the best fries around. The atmosphere is fun, and our service was excellent -- our waitress was attentive and checked on us frequently. Unfortunately, on this visit, our food took quite a while to come out, and when it did, it was burnt. To her credit, our waitress handled it quickly and professionally. She had the kitchen remake the entire order and even offered to let us keep the original dishes (we didn't eat them, but appreciated the gesture). The replacement meals were delicious, and they gave us a discount for the trouble. We really enjoy this place -- it's usually a great experience. While I do wish the prices were about 10% lower, the quality of the food and the convenient location keep us coming back.

Do they have a private area for a party?

Not that I saw. Just two large rooms with seating and outdoor patio.

This bar was nothing near quiet and chill when we swung by. It was more of a frat basement vibe (which I actually found quiet endearing). This place is super tiny. When I came, all the chairs/furniture were pushed to the side to make room for a dance floor. The DJ played frat classics like 'Mo Bamba' and somehow created an energy where everyone was being perfectly carefree and dancing all over the place. Everyone was cramped up in the tiny dancefloor but still had enough room to move around and get to the bar. There was a pool table that was covered off to the side and some games lined up on the wall (to likely be used on a more casual and lowkey night). They had a bunch of security. They had guards at the entrance, by the DJ, and at the back door (that I think led to an outdoor patio). I'm not sure if this makes me feel reassured or concerned that they feel the need to have so much security. To me, the drinks were average. I ordered a Vodka Cranberry and felt that it was mostly just cranberry juice. The bartenders were friendly and quick. The prices weren't too bad either. I would definitely come back!

Last time I went, they had food, raffles and DJ/Karaoke! I'd recommend trying the Inferno burger and/or the Mongolian beef. If you want a casino with a welcoming vibe, helpful staff, and good meals that won't wreck your budget, this is the place. Definitely go check it out!

Then about 5-7 min in to sitting down and chopping it up about work when one of the security guards came up to our table looked at me directly and said for me to " grab my shit and leave ". I was totally blown away that they would make an assumption that I was the one in my group who didn't have their ID on them. Without ever asking me to present one in the first place when I first entered and when he approached the table to make his assumption. I would recommend skipping out on this joint until those in security are replaced. Beside that the chefs / food is good

The service was excellent and it was a fun experience all around. The ONLY reason I didn't give five stars was due to a family with two young boys who were running onto the bocce courts stealing pallinos. Their parents couldn't care less and did nothing to stop them. The staff really should have kicked them out or, at the least, reprimand both the children and their entitled parents. Luckily they ended up going inside and using a simulator.

Their food is italian based...sorta fusion tastes type of menu Hosting and wait staff was welcomig and attentive My family chose this place fir a late lunch as a tryout for a future large gathering to celebrate at and i think they made a great choice based on the size of the place and the atmosphere. Not everyone can be a fan of italian food but the menu here is divese enough that guests will still enjoy the flavors they choose. What helps is that this food does not come out skimpy at alk, they hook up their portions...at least our orders were a nice amount at the time. Overall....would come back here again for a meal just for being in the area

I ask a person who works there if they can put on the UCLA Maryland game. He said "sure no problem." Goes in back to get the channel changer and the schedule print out. While I'm waiting the waitress takes my order, a smaller sized Modelo for starters. The guy comes back out and tries to bring up the game. They don't have the Big 10 Network. "Check please!" I explain to the guy that it's really surprising and disappointing that they don't subscribe to that channel since the last three national champions came from that conference and there are now 18 schools in the conference. I know it comes down to economics, but when my waitress finally gave me the check for my beer, that small Modelo was $10. A case at Costco is $24.99, so a hair over a dollar a beer. Works out to probably an $8 profit on that one beer. No wonder they were only about 10% full and most of those weren't watching the games anyway. Went to The Draft sports pub in Pleasanton. Very nice people, the place was much nicer, cleaner, cheaper drinks, great food selection and THEY HAD THE BIG TEN NETWORK!!! Never going back to Beebs. The Draft will get my business from now on.
