It has been a great experience both times, thus the 5 stars. The office people treat their customers like a Christian family. They seem glad to explain what service they preformed if the situation needs it. They have a basic lobby area with chairs and a sofa. The lobby has a refrigerator stocked with bottled water only. Water is great to have on a hot oppressive heat day. If you don't wish to stay, they will call you when your vehicle is ready. They are hidden a little bit off highway 31 but still give them a try, it beats a lot of other automotive places in town.

Zach is a kind young man who got me checked in quickly and made the process easy from the start. Chuck stepped in to assist when there was a question about whether the tire could be repaired. He took the time to clearly explain why it wasn't safe to repair it again. I had only purchased the car about a month ago and had no idea there had been a previous patch. I really appreciated how thorough he was, and his patience when I asked for a few minutes to check with my son about what to do next. They didn't have a matching tire in stock, so it had to be ordered. Chuck let me know it could arrive between 1 and 5 and promised to call. I wasn't expecting to spend $267 that day, but I truly appreciate their focus on safety over shortcuts. Once the tire came in, I got the call and returned. I have to say the experience was not the best BUT having the owner cobtactvme almost 6 months later to appologize for his previous employees (the man who addressed me as hunny was let go... not because of that incident) actions was VERY RESPECTABLE! I can say that I have not experienced any recent issues with my transmission (although we rarely drive that vechicle these days)... The owner did offer to look at the peak in coming from my sunroof as a courtesy as well... So although my previous experience was not fantastic the response and acknowledgment was very unexpected and welcome! Customer service is worth a new review itself!

On my way from Charleston SC to Newport Beach CA on the very first day of the trip we were coming…read moreinto coming into town and the transmission in my 98 Chevy PU started slipping going up hill. After calling a few dealerships and one Napa repair facility I was referred to Mr. Transmission. Jason (store manager) answered the phone and I explained my situation that we were traveling to CA and think we are having a tranny issue. Even though it was 15 minutes before they closed he told me to come by and they would run the diagnostics to see if there were any warnings coming up. We got there and as advertised he stood in the parking lot with his diagnostic equipment in 33 degree weather (yes that cold in Alabama) and ran it. Nothing came up but needed to drive it the next morning to feel the issue. We went ahead and got a hotel for the night and told me to be back at 7:30 so we could take a test drive. Again as advertised he offered me a cup of coffee and we drove from the shop back to my hotel so i could wait there with my family and not sit at the shop all day. Come to find out the engine was misfiring and only needed a full tune up, so 6 hours later all work was complete and Jason still found a way to add a couple of discount specials that saved me some bucks!!!! I can't say enough how impressed and grateful that we found a guy like Jason to get us back up and running with only losing one day to get coast to coast.
