I seldom leave reviews but after our experience tonight I think I need to. We arrived about 7:30 and were told there was about a 30 minute backup in the kitchen due to large amounts of take out orders from Grub Hub and other similar services. We decided to stay and wait since just about anywhere we went on a Saturday night in the Boro would have a 30 minute wait. Plus there was a good game on and we were able to sit beside some friends that had arrived just before us. After 10-15 minutes our drink order was taken and we were told again there was about a half hour wait. Around 8:00 we received our drinks and were told our order was going to be taken soon. At maybe 8:30 or so, which was an hour after we arrived, our order was finally taken. After we ordered my wife decided to go out to smoke. When I got up to let her out of the booth I noticed a woman at the hostess stand with a Boa Constrictor around her shoulders talking to the hostess. The woman, with the snake still on her shoulders, then proceeds to walk to the bar and then into the kitchen area. I shrugged it off as just a Saturday night in the Boro. Shortly after the woman and snake disappeared to the kitchen we heard squeals and lots of laughter coming from the kitchen, I guess the snake was at the middle of it but at this point? Who knows. Around 8:45 the manager comes by and I tell him my opinion and concerns about what is going on. He was sympathetic, apologized, and said our order would be right out. Around 9:00, a hour and a half after we arrived we received our food, sort of. While my fish tacos and my youngest sons cheeseburger were perfect my wife's burger was lacking bacon, my oldest sons burger was burnt and my daughters fried shrimp was greasy and had no seasoning. When we asked for the bacon for my wife's burger the kitchen sent out one piece. Really? One piece of bacon for a bacon cheese burger? While the manager was extremely apologetic and he did deeply discount our food it doesn't quite make up for everything that transpired. I've been to many Hooters over the years and until tonight had never had a bad experience. The only bright spot was our server, Jazymyn. She was wonderful from start to finish. I honestly felt sorry for her. She was doing all she could to make a horrible situation better. Also, this location has probably 20-30 televisions and all of them were tuned to the same football game. There was no other sport on. It's the end of September, there should have been several baseball games on and maybe some preseason hockey. read more

Pretty new Hooters in the area, it seems. I have been to a few Hooters across the US and this one was a nice experience. Mandy, our server, was very attentive and friendly. Food was to be expected, as many other locations. Looking to stop by if I am in the area again. read more

I've been coming to this hooters for a while now and haven't had too many bad experiences, but I am currently here, have been sitting for 2 hours. Took 20+ minutes to get my drink, and the waitress was extremely rude. Granted it is a popular game night, waiting 2+ hours for dinner is ridiculous. Not to mention the restaurant isn't THAT busy. I've been to many Hooters and this by far was the worse I've been to. We went there to watch the UFC fights. The food was poor and the service was not good either. The building seems to be run down and out dated though seems to fit in the neighborhood it is in. I heard plenty of people complaining that their orders were wrong and the wait was to long. I had not been to this location in over a year, maybe new management, not sure, but the worst Hooters. If it was not for the wonderfully pleasant and beautiful host (not sure of her name) and server (Sunshine), I would have left. The table was sticky, bathroom was disgusting, the waitress wore their shorts unlike any Hoosters I've been in (wedged in between their butt cheeks), and the food was mediocre. We were about to leave when this overwhelming smell of weed nearly knocked us out, everybody near the door was looking around trying to figure out where the smell was coming from... we walk outside a server and a patron was smoking weed in front of the establishment. The manager was no where to be found. I called back to the store and no one would answer the phone and when they did finally pick up, they would hang up the phone, I called 9 times... Will never go back unless they hire new management and clean up this place. read more

Food took too long considering that we only got shrimp and onion rings and it was nearly empty. Hot Buffalo sauce was more like a medium and both dishes were only barely warm, but not cold enough that I felt it deserved to be sent back. For $9 I expected more than clearly frozen onion rings. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TASTEBUDS; GO ELSEWHERE. Revolting! I've previously visited here when I was in town and really enjoyed the food; really the food was great. I USED TO LOOK FORWARD TO VISITNG THIS RESTAURANT. I recently returned (18 March) for my son's birthday and I was appalled! First the fried pickles: might as well have been potato chips: hard and barely the taste of a dill pickle. Horrible. Then the chicken wings: very odd; "Today because of March Madness we want to do something different", so the sales pitch went. For the life of me I couldn't understand why the "boneless" hot wings were cheaper than the standard ones. It was all you can eat, but: if you wanted more dressing for dipping your wings, it was an additional $0.89 each time. Really? So I ordered the boneless chicken; chicken McNuggets with some sauce is all they were. Not like the early days where you would get nice filets of chicken meat. Nasty chicken McNuggets (AKA chunks of chicken flesh pressed together to a form). Another thing that was disappointing was that in the old restaurant, you could see the cooks working their magic, having fun and interacting with the customers: not in the new place. I saw one cook and he did not look like he wanted to be there! So, to summarize: Hooters is cutting back on their once-great quality to make a buck at the customers cost. No thanks. I always come to swear with my family to have a different time today I put a take out order and waited 45 minutes and I ask the girl at the bar how much is left for my order I had no idea what my order was she asked her to another girl and the other girl I had no idea when I had placed the order 45 minutes ago I gave myself the task of calling the manager to find a solution because I was very upset the manager just told me I have nothing to do, your order is done list my question is this is the kind of service we offer to customers? I believe that both the manager and their employees need good customer service training. especially in these times. read more

I've been to this location 4 times over the last 2 months. The service is the same every time. Always super slow and hardly any wait staff in the building. There have been only 2 waitresses in the entire restaurant all 4 times. Waited almost an hour for food. No wonder the place was empty on a Wingsday Wednesday at 630! Everyone else got the memo! This place better shape up in a hurry or it'll be closing the brand new doors soon. read more

They have renovated and it's more like buffalo wild wings. Either way there is more light inside now and it doesn't look like a shady dive bar anymore. It's cleaner and it seems like the food even taste better. Try the Daytona Beach sauce. read more

We arrived and was seated immediately, however the girl that seated us got our drinks. 15 minutes later the waitress shows up informed us it was a closed area, she could clearly see we had drinks. She ask us what we wanted to drink, so she takes our food order. We waited another 45 minutes our food finally arrives with the "naked" no oil boneless wings I ordered being bone in and covered in sauce and minus the tots another person in the party ordered. 15 minutes later still no boneless wings or tots. Spoke to the manager and she made excuses as to why everything was so bad I explained to her no need for the excuses but a need for the meal to be compensated, that she did. This trip was incredible. I have never been to Hooters before but now I will definitely be going back. Our server Coya was fantastic. She literally knew everything we were about to ask for before we even asked. She was a mind blowingly great server. The wings were delicious and the drinks were fantastic. Literally nothing could have improved the experience. It you want a great experience ask for Coya as your server. We saw her be just as fantastic to all of her tables. read more

I know im at hooters, and ive been to plenty. The store looks great, but the service and kitchen are far from. I know plenty of people who work at other hooters restaurants and they are usually to the table faster, and have never heard of running out of boneless wings, especially on wingsday wednesday. Really no excuse. I would rate most hooters fairly at 4 or so stars, but id give less than one here if i could. I looked past the bad reviews in hopes they might have it together. Went there for lunch today and the service was just okay but food was not very good. We got 10 wings and buffalo shrimp with one order of fries. The wings were very very small. The fries seemed like they had been sitting for a while and buffalo shrimp was just nasty. First time I've ever been to this location. I thought it would a little nicer inside but no big deal. Had wings and fried pickles which were ok. Beer was good because it was happy hour and only 1.50 each. While I was drinking my beer I look down and a huge cockroach was crawling across the floor headed to the kitchen..gross because if there's 1 I'm sure there's more. I got up and told a server to tell the manager and she did but the manager did nothing. Then about 5 servers gathered around the cockroach all screamed and made a scene and then stepped on it to kill it...... Don't think I'll be visiting this place ever again. This is probably the worst Hooters I've been to (& I've been to my share.) As a former Hooters girl that still continues to celebrate my birthday at a Hooters every year, I can honestly say that this one is subpar. I waited at the hostess stand for a good 7 mins before being seated in a closed off section with one other table. The server took our order quickly, but it took forever to get the food, and mine was cold. (Like it finished cooking way before the other plate.) She kept awkwardly lurking around our table asking after every bite if we were enjoying it. We could barely speak to each other due to her conversation starters that clearly didn't come easy to her. I have been here a few times, and have been to many Hooters. I also have worked at locations before. This one is really a very good store. The girls were all very cute, I think being close to MTSU. Food is regular Hooters of course, but I think the franchise has stepped up the quality recently, it seemed to be better than I had seen in the past. I took a make-a-wish family there, the little guy really enjoyed the night and the girls all made him feel very special. We had a large group, and they were quick to seat us, and very attentive. Regarding my visit on 12/9/2016. Walked in -received sour greeting from the two persons that were supposed to greet, seat or assist customers. After waiting what seemed to be an extended period I received my order and left. After the sour greeting and long wait I made it home and sat down to eat..............UGHHHHHHHH. I have eaten food from Hooter locations in 3 or 4 different states, they all served good food. The food that I received at this Hooters was garbage. My first bite was my last bite. This was my first time in Hooter's in a long time and in their new location. I must say it looks and feel great for football but I was there for lunch. Love them hooters. Great place. No matter what your girlfriend says the food is awesome, and so is the scenery. The ladies are great although there are a few sassy ones. Lots of tvs to watch games and lots of teetees. I love the original hooters wings. And believe it or not I've had some great salads. Good clean atmosphere. read more
