Literally the worst hooters I've ever been to. Our food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Our waitress hardly ever came to check on us. I ordered boneless wings and they came out cold. Our food didn't even come out at the same time and my boyfriend never got his fries. Oh and to top it all off the booth we were sitting at smelled like straight up piss. It's a shame that you go to hooters to eat but then have to go next door to pluckers to use the restroom because the one at hooters is worse than a public park bathroom. Planned on eating at Buffalo Wings but the parking lot was full so decided on Hooters located next door. Sat at the bar and ordered a beer. Only three people at the bar. After about 5 I asked for a menu. Another customer sat at the bar. About 10 minutes later that person was asked to order by one of the two ladies behind the bar. After she took his order I told her I was ready to order. About 15 minutes later I asked again. In the meantime the other customer's order was delivered. (Somebody got reasonable service.) One of the ladies responded but she did not seem to be happy with the interruption of your cell phone activities. (Why would any manager allow their waitstaff to place texting ahead of serving customers? Why allow cell phones in the service area?) The place was one third full at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night and I was imposing by wanting to order.. Food was okay but I will never be back. We came to this Hooters because my son wanted to go there for his birthday. We arrived around 6:30 and we were seated pretty quickly but the girl did not seem in a hurry to help us. She was more interested in the older guys at the table next to us. It took about 30 minutes to even take our order. I told her that it was my son's birthday and we wanted to celebrate there. She advised me that the other girls didn't want to sing to him. Poor service. Great location and food. I have been coming here for at least a year; a few times a month. Never had a server treat my family and I so bad. We did not ask for anything outrageous. We were polite and courteous. As soon as we were seated, she rushed us into ordering. She seemed stressed out and was answering our questions rudely. ALLIE would not even stop at our table to check on us - after we got our food. I had to flag down a different waitress for a refill on our drinks. Second time flagging down, we just wanted our check. This was after waiting 15 minutes after we were done eating. She forgot about my son's drink. She would stop and sit with men behind us but not check on us. The waiter was not knowledgeable of the menu, when asking questions she had no idea how to answer. My boyfriends Buffalo shrimp with ranch came out with a long hair in it, when I brought it to the attention of the manager, his response was "oh, (with a frowned face) let me get you another one". No apologies, no discount just reheated shrimp with a new ranch. Never came back to check on our food, the service or anything. Also, for the restaurant to be as empty as it was, the food, which was sub par at best, took forever to come out and was not hot. I'm assuming with all of the running around that our waiter had been doing, our food probably sat back there for a while before making it to our table. I've been to this Hooters many times because I'm a sucker for beer, pretty girls and nostalgia. Besides meeting my instinctive male preferences, this place has to be one of the worst Hooters in terms of service I have ever been to. I don't know where these girls learned how to be waitresses. Whenever I have honest gripes about the food or drink, the attitude I get from the girls is that they don't give a damn. When I waited tables and tended bar and a customer wasn't happy about something, the first thing I would do was apologize, offer them something else to make their experience better and take the item off the bill. That's just basic customer service that anyone with common sense waiting tables should understand. Hooters used to be something great years ago and a great place for great food, cold beer filled to the rim, and great girls that knew how to wait tables and make a young boy blush. This was the worst experience I've had at a Hooters. The restaurant was dirty, particularly the restroom. The service was incredibly slow. Our server seemed to be trying hard, but it took right at 30 minutes to get the pitcher of beer we ordered. Finally, the food was actually not as good as other Hooters I've been to. A shame that you can't post zero or negative stars because that's what this'd be. Stopped in last nite with my grandchild to watch a game and eat some wings. First warning shoulda been the almost empty parking lot since the wing place next door was packed. Second shoulda been no hostess so we seated ourselves at the Texas table just between the door and kitchen. About five minutes later, after every waitress had walked by ignoring us one girl asked 'What can I get you' to which I replied 'Menu would be a good start'. When she brought those back she said 'Your server will be along soon'. One waitress stopped by and cooed with my granddaughter but that was it. Ten more minutes went by where I watched an obviously bored and disinterested waitress leaning up against the kitchen window chatting with the female manager. After that I walked over to the kitchen and told the hostess 'Tell your manager customers are leaving because they're hungry and being ignored'. She walked over to the manager who gave us a cursory glance as we left to head across the street to BWW. There's a good Hooters over on 35 in Lewisville; this one obviously sucks. read more

Went there last night with my husband, son, and his friend for the "All you can eat". For Monday night football there were only about 10 customers in the entire place. Service was good but the food was horrible. All of the wings were dripping tons of grease and was barely any sauce on the wings. By far the worst Hooters location. 2-7-2016 I ordered wings for our Superbowl gathering and I'm very disappointed. The boneless wings with buffalo sauce were unseasoned and VERY greasy. The bone in wings were also very greasy and had no flavor. I especially didn't appreciate the black hair that was attached to one of the wings. NASTY !!! I stopped in on Friday night (7/6/2018) to grab some wings after work. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer before ordering my wings. The bar waitress immediately asked me for my ID. I thought she was joking, because I'm 66 years old. She persisted, so I showed her my ID. I felt humiliated afterwards and thought I should have just left. I got my order, paid and left a tip and drove home. The next morning (7/7/2018) I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. She said it's corporate policy to ask everyone who orders alcohol for ID. I know my friends are gasping now that I actually go to Hooters. As a mother of 3 daughters I am not a fan of objectification of women. It had been years since I went into one and I was a little worried that people would think it odd that I was in there. The girls who work there are more friendly to me than I expected and honestly if I had been blessed with those looks I may have chosen that job at some point (many years ago). As it stands, I must make a living with the other stuff God gave me. Well if your aren't going to gawk at the girls, why go to Hooters? The roasted oysters. I crave them and I know of no other place to get them. I've never liked raw oysters. They used to be on the menu a few years back and if you know who to ask and how to ask, you might get lucky and they'll make them special for you too. They take a while to make, so prepare for that. You order them 6-12-18 or so at a time. I've eaten 18 before. They come out in a bucket with a towel and oyster knife. You have to shuck em, dunk em and eat em. Outstanding. read more

I placed an online order for lunch at 10:49 AM to be picked up at 12:00 PM. When I arrived ON TIME my order was not ready, and the waitress informed me that my order would take five more minutes. Ten minutes go by, fifteen minutes go by, and then twenty minutes and still my order is not ready. I request to speak to a supervisor because at this time I need to start heading back to work, after all, I am waiting on a PICKUP ORDER I received confirmation for at 10:49 AM. I continued to get the run around from the wait staff as well as a shift manager who made up some BS excuse that there was a glitch in the system preventing the online orders from being received. With no more time to wait for a meal that apparently was nowhere near completion, I demanded a refund. The shift manager voided out our tickets, and we left. I am not even entirely sure if she correctly refunded my money. There were two separate orders on my ticket, and my friend and I paid separately. Horrible customer service! Do not eat here. Worst food poisoning I've ever experienced in my life. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a Caesar salad. Within 30 minutes of eating it I was in complete agony. I don't know if it was not fully cooked or something was contaminated. I've been considering getting the health dept involved because the lettuce could've been contaminated with E Coli, or the chicken with salmonella. Our first visit to this Hooters restaurant in Grapevine, not overly impressed as compared to their other restaurants. Most of the servers spent more time chatting to each other instead of paying attention to their guests, food was mediocre, have been to better Hooters restaurants than this one. Decided to move onto Pluckers due to our disappointment, our 1st visit to Pluckers, will definitely choose Pluckers over Hooters for sure in the future. read more

We came on a Sunday night and it was fairly slow, however still took forever for our food to come out, and for the waitress to come and refill drinks as needed. After we finished eating, we waited about 15 minutes and still our waitress had not come back. So we had to ask the bartender to go get her, but as I got up to go ask the bartender, I saw our waitress Lahken (unsure of spelling), sitting at another table - SITTING in the booth while we were forgotten about. Very poor service, I manage a local hotel and will be sure to let my guests know to try BWW if they would like good service. My family of 4 went to lunch there this afternoon as my husband was hungry for wings and the place he wanted to go had to long of a wait....we should've waited! We will never step foot in the Grapevine Hooters again! We arrived and got seated Immediately and got our drinks and fried pickles that's where it ended! It seemed like we waited forced for our food and when it finally came it was cold!! We told our waitress and she put in another order for it. My youngest decided he couldn't eat the wings he ordered so we ordered another order. I started my stop watch on my phone after our meal was put back in! When my sons 2nd meal came out it was cold...so we asked them for another! Well his meal came out before ours and when we picked up the first wing it had a hair on it!! At that point we had been sitting for 32 minutes waiting on our hot food to show up which never did come!! They kept telling us oh it's in its way, it will be out soon...again never came!! They kept making excuses and we were done!! Never again will we step foot in the restaurant and we used to love Hooters!! So disappointing!! Worst restaurant experience I've had in 40 years! It is very hard for me to even give a rating of one star but that is the only way it would let me post! They don't deserve a one....they deserve a zero today from this little family!! read more
