OMG I love this spot ! Such a hidden gem! If I'm in the OC area you'll definitely catch me here. 1000/10 !! There isn't a bad thing you can order on the menu, coffee wise. They let you adjust the sweetness and the coffee is just amazing. I love my drinks strong so I always order Vietnamese. I've had the Horchata Vietnamese (ordered less sweet), the Ube and the original. It was so good walking back to my car I went back in to order another one.. mind you, these are strong coffees lol Service was friendly and super helpful with the recommendations. Parking was available when I went.

I was in the area and needed the caffeine. This place was down the street from my lash appointment so I decided to stop by and check it out. I know there's a second location in SA so I was excited to finally try them. The woman who took my order was nice and helped me decide on their cookie butter latte. She mentioned this was one of their most popular options. She also customized the sweetness to my liking which was perfect! I don't like overly sweet coffee. I really really liked my drink! Will definitely try their other drinks next time. Thanks Hood Coffee!

Found this hidden gem and I'm glad I ordered mazaan latte! I really really love the nutty flavor of mazapan! Also, the coffee is strong because it kept me focused on my work after. Parking is a little tricky because the space is very limited. There are no decorations or whatsoever, but I think they are just newly opened. There are some seats outside for you to hang around. The drink came out pretty fast and the staff is friendly.

Friendly customer service, good parking available, and fair prices for the coffee. Food prices are a little high but the portions are huge and the menu packs a lot of flavor. Busy on the weekends so expect a wait for food but well worth it. There is limited seating so expect more of a grab and go but definitely a must try. A down to earth style coffee shop. No frills just good food coffee and people. Coffees are strong and bold but a little on the sweater side. We tried the Spanish latte and espresso nube. Both had great flavor but the espresso nube is great choice for people who don't like their drinks too sweet. A lot of people ordered the horchata viet so that is next on the list, but you can customize the ratios of the drink and the sweetness levels!

Caramel Macchiato with Cloud Foam

Came in on a Wednesday morning around 8AM and there were no other customers. There also weren't much seating inside but they had some outside of their coffee place, although they might be in the works for renovating? I ordered the Caramel Macchiato with a Cloud Foam but I will say make sure you specify the size. They kind of assumed for mine and it was definitely a big drink for me. The drink itself was really delicious but I do wish the foam was creamier. I would love to come back and try their other drinks !

We stopped by because this place caught my girlfriend's attention after seeing it a while back on TikTok and we saw it had good ratings on yelp. The drinks were absolutely delicious. I ordered the cookie butter latte and she ordered the horchata matcha. Both were extremely flavorful and well balanced; I didn't feel like I was drinking watered down milk and sugar hahaha. The guy who attended us as well as the guy who gave us our drinks were both friendly. I work in the area and I would definitely come back.

Visited around 6:15 AM. Customer service was great--10/10. This isn't really a dine-in spot, more of a hole-in-the-wall for good coffee and quick bites like burritos and pastries. I ordered the Vietnamese horchata iced coffee and a steak burrito. The order came out fast. The first couple of sips of the coffee were amazing, but the more I drank it, the stronger a tequila-like/alcohol taste became, to the point where it was unbearable. I've had Vietnamese coffee before, but this was my first time experiencing something like that, and I ended up dumping it. Total was about $25 ($8 for the coffee, $15 for the burrito). A bit pricey, but the burrito was loaded and filling. My only issue was the potatoes, they were cut way too large. It was decent, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall, the place is decent, but I was really disappointed by the strange coffee taste.

This coffee shop is sooo cool! There's lot of fun menu items to choose from and even a little panaderia selection!

Hood Coffee is reasonably priced coffee shop located near the Orange circle. They offer lattes and horchata / Vietnamese coffee drinks as well as some baked good. Although when I arrived at around 1pm on a weekday the offerings looked limited and not that appealing. However the place was packed and there was a consistent stream of people coming and going. Cookie butter latte ($8.00 + $.50 processing fee - 24 oz.) - Made with real biscoff this latte had a robust coffee flavor and chunks of biscoff. I should have asked for light ice because there was too much ice for my liking. However I did enjoy the drink and it was made in a timely manner. Overall I was impressed with the drink offerings here. If I came back I would like to try the horchata Vietnamese coffee as I heard good things about that one. Seating is limited to 2 tables outside and a few seats inside.

We ordered the Lavender Lemonade and Passion Dragon Fruit refreshers and we did order some food. Chilaquiles were good, chorizo burrito was meh! it was ordered without cheese and the lady who took orders even repeated it back "no cheese". Well the burrito definitely had cheese, chilaquiles was good but the presentation was very questionable. The refreshers were so so delicious! however their service is horrible. As we walked in, no greeting or anything just "you guys ready to order" ok not that big of a deal, order was taken and repeated back but still it was incorrect. As we left I walked inside to throw my trash out I said "thank you, have a good one!" The lady didn't even bother to unlock eyes or pause her conversation with guy hanging out on the other side of the counter. It's the settle things that do it, being nice a simple greeting goes a long way!

Strong coffee for an affordable price? Count me in. Tried this place out by the recommendation of my coworkers and I was not disappointed. Got the Horchata Vietnamese coffee and it was a delectable blend of sweet and strong. I did find the decor a bit in need of some care as it looked like random house furniture brought in. But service was excellent and flavors were plenty.

They only have iced lattes , I got a Spanish latte iced and a cookie with a piece of banana bread the latte was flavorful it needed alittle bit more espresso to give it that coffee flavor. The cookie was amazing it tasted like a cookie brownie because of the cookie that will bring me back alone . The banana bread was alittle greasy.

Never been to this place before. When I got there, there were a couple of people waiting on their order, so I was the only customer ordering. I tried to order a hot latte ... which, apparently, isn't something that they do. The lady said they could make a hot latte for certain coffees on their menu so I ordered one. And I waited. And waited. And waited. While I waited, 12 other customers came in, ordered coffee or picked up something they'd ordered online, and all got served. My coffee still hadn't arrived. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, after 20 minutes - 20 MINUTES!!! - I had to leave. Yelp always asks "what was that dish?" and asks to attach photos of the food. I can't do that. I NEVER GOT MY ORDER. I paid $8.50 + $1.00 tip to sit in a building for 20 minutes. DO. NOT. RECOMMEND.

I had expected the business to be in a more high volume area, however a benefit of their corner spot was that the parking lot had plenty of spaces. There's no indoor seating, but outdoor tables were set up along the north and east perimeters of the building. I was by myself at this latest visit, and it was close to the end of the day so the inventory was quite depleted. There was no line at all which was not a surprise. The famous Strawberry Croissants and prepackaged items were on refrigerated display to the left when you walked in. As the service counter rounded a corner, there were more fresh baked goods on display before you reached a register. Across from the registers were shelves containing bags of fresh bread products. I bought a Strawberry Croissant, a Sticky Bun, a Ham and Cheese Croissant, and an Apple Croissant. The quality of the pastry dough was very good, and I could see why the Strawberry Croissant was a favorite with the customers. The croissants were light and flakey, and the powdered sugar added a delicate topping to the strawberry version. If I were to rate on just the Strawberry Croissant, then it would be five stars. My overall rating was downgraded because of the customer traffic flow. The lines can be optimized so that if you wanted to buy a six-pack of the Strawberry Croissants and/or anything prepackaged, then a separate queue should be arranged for those customers. The cafeteria trays were of limited use if you were not getting a large number of items. As you advanced in the queue, other products had to be requested from a worker behind the counter and then those were not placed on the tray. Ultimately, I think they can configure the operation to more efficiently handle the higher volume periods of the day.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

It's in the market so there's open seating and can get quite loud if there's a lot of people. Unfortunately, I was greeted very poorly when I got here. No one was available to help and periodically she would yell over to see if I was ready to order in a very bad tone. When I asked about the cheesecake selection, she said "you have to wait 30 min." I then asked what flavor it is and she said "pandan pineapple" in an annoyed tone. I asked if there were any other flavors and she said "no because I still need to decorate. You should really come later at night." I'm used to bakeries selling out later in the day but I guess it's opposite here. As if it couldn't get worse, I asked her if there are any coffees she recommended, and she said "viet coffee." I then said viet coffee is usually too strong for me and asked if there were any other recommendations and she doubled down and used a horrible tone to say "I already said I recommend the viet coffee." Therefore I opted to just not order coffee at this time. I ended up still ordering 2 cookies: miso toffee which was too firm and the ube coconut which actually was well balanced and had a nice coconut filling. I really hope they improve their customer service.
