This place is great. The beer selection is very good and well executed. The food is top notch across the board. Had the BBQ and it was absolutely perfect as were the fries that came with it. My Italian wife gave a big thumbs up to the pizza as do I. Even the two desserts were fantastic. Saw a number of other dishes pass by that looked like I might try them next time, the chicken and a hamburger that resembled a work of art. The design on the inside is breathtaking with what must be 30ft ceilings. The outside has spacious lawn area and outdoor tables. There are incidentally, tables outside on the second floor. The theme of the restaurant is to honor Veterans and First Responders which I am both and appreciative of that attention. Truthfully the best thing here was our server. He helped to navigate the menu for the food and beer. He checked on us regularly which helped the entire experience. As it turns out he told us that he loved his job. That's right, loved it. Honor has been a favorite of ours so when it came time for choosing a venue for a 6th birthday party, they were the clear choice. The planning process was quick and easy. Management jumped in and started making calls when an outside vendor dropped the ball on a moon bounce. Staff were present and helpful throughout setup and the entirety of the event. The bartenders were attentive and fun! Our BBQ lunch buffet was delicious. The chef took a break from the line to come out and cut the cake for my son. I am a big fan of Honor overall. Have been going consistently since they opened and really want to support this local spot with good beer and good vibes. But, they have got to get their kitchen and service together. I don't know what changed about six months ago but food is coming out overcooked, wrong, not fresh or tasting right. Tried out the new brewery, which is closer to Ashburn/Aldie than Sterling. Great brand new purpose-built facility, high ceilings, good vibe (music should be louder). Green staff, focused more on their mobile ordering than service. Kitchen pacing not great, as our entrees came before apps/snacks. Beer was great. The Burn said they have a Michelin Star chef at the helm? Sorry, they're nowhere to been seen. Burger tasted like a frozen patty (not the custom blend described in the menu), sidewinder fries also tasted like frozen fries although their shape was interesting. The brisket platter was uneven - thinly sliced. Surprisingly tender, but did not have much taste. Was not served with BBQ sauce. After multiple attempts they brought me some sauce, but it tasted out of a bottle and not fresh. Mac and cheese was good, pickles were good (but not enough). Pizza was ok - flavorless sauce, cheesy, but a little greasy. We'll be back and hope their acclaimed chef shows up to improve the otherwise avg food, great beer and cool facility with a honorable mission focused on our vets. read more

Went on a Friday around 430pm. Place was already packed! Place is honestly pretty cool inside. Modern, clean bathrooms and I dig the large open windows! I was recommended by a friend to try out Honor, specifically the Sterling location. I went in just to get something to go as I drink rarely. I wasn't expecting much but I was taken back by how many options were available both food and drinks. I was greeted by Zach who seems to have everything on the menu catalogued in his brain because he knew exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something light, not too strong maybe even a seltzer. So he described everything tip to tail within the specifications I gave him and I ended up getting the 5mg thc seltzers. He assured me they were very light and tolerable. He did not steer me wrong as I was able to enjoy these and still enjoy myself without any foggy brain feeling. I 100% recommend going to Honor because no matter what you fancy you'll find something for you! We've been here a few times now, once with a large party with toddlers and babies. Each time, the food has been really good- surprisingly diverse and interesting menu options executed well. It's better than many restaurants nearby. What other brewery has seared ahi tuna?! The sauce that comes with the pulled pork is SO good- very well-balanced and delicious with the addictive sidewinder fries as well as the sandwich. Their hazy ipa is usually my go to. Our end-of-season team party was held at HONOR, and it was fantastic! The meal and beverages arrived promptly and were of excellent quality. They were overjoyed that they offered gluten-free options, as several of the athletes follow a gluten-free diet. We were placed in a private area, which was great because it allowed us to converse amongst ourselves without having to deal with a large group of people or shout over one another. We had to wait for a table for about 20 minutes on an early Friday evening. Then had to wait another 20 minutes for our server to come to a table. And then another 20min to get our drinks. And food another 20!! At this point, we didn't know whether to stay or to leave. Staffing is definitely an issue. Understaffed. Food was okay and beer was decent. After we were served, server never checked on us to see if we needed anything else or if we were enjoying it. Well, because he had like 10 tables! This is their first week open. The bar was crowded and we sat at the bar. It took a while to get anyone's attention as the bartenders were focused on the flood of tickets they were getting from the tables. We ordered a flight of beer, pint, and the pimento cheese dip. Beers came right away. We liked the Hazy IPA and the Dress Blues. Didn't really like the cider but we are not big cider drinkers and just wanted to try it. We waited about 30 minutes before the Cheese Dip came out. It came out in a strange consistency that had like water on the top. We asked if that was how it was supposed to be and was told by the manager Jeff "no" and asked us if we would like to try something else. So we put in an order for Brisket cheese dip. After 30 minutes it had not come out so we asked to settle up. We had to ask to have the 2 food items removed. I noticed they put it as "manager comp" to remove from the check which was not an issue until I did the automated tip. It tipped on the total bill of stuff we didn't get. Not a big deal but just was surprised after I got my receipt. We will try this place again. This place is new and will be a great addition to the area. Just have some patience. read more

Solid 7. This brewery is brand new. Very clean, modern, tons of windows & very spacious! The crowd had a great mix of people including people in their 70's and families with toddlers. The staff are super friendly and know the menu well. We sat at the huge bar and I witnessed staff asking each other if they needed help! I ordered the street corn pizza. The pizza crust is great but it was pretty dry & I kept wondering if they forgot to add the white sauce. My friend said the fries were excellent & I saw a burger that looked good. Prices are decent. I tried several of the beers. I was hoping to find one I loved but I didn't . 2 I did not like at all and the others ( this was a flight + a 10oz) were good but I've had better pumpkin and fruit/ sours. Looks good from the outside but horribly not functional on the inside. The sun hits the majority of the tables inside leaving customers to fend for their eye health. Hoping that sunglasses will help, even the best sunglasses can't fight this eye frying situation. We asked the waitress why there are no tints and they even said there should be tints. We asked when's the best time to come and it's either when there's no sun or a rainy day. Hopefully the owners realize that this needs to be fixed asap and a minor cost to invite customers without being accosted by the sun. I feel so bad for the all the other people especially the older folks struggling to eat with their families in this environment Beers need improvement, the stouts are great but the hazy IPA's taste bitter and taste fades. Really a 3.5 but I've rounded down due to several factors. Food was decent but overpriced. Short ribs were only a few bites of meat for $32. Service was terribly slow. 40 minutes to get our food. Beer was good. Several good selections. We sat at the bar. Our primary server was not attentive. Fortunately her colleagues were much better. The building is awesome.
