There was an Asian couple not to far from us that were asked if they needed help or had questions. I finally flagged an employee down after 3 passed us by without even a smile. The employee was a short young lady with glasses, did not smile at us just proceeded to open the products I asked her to open. I liked the item and decided to take it. An employee returned from break and the same young lady that helped us smiled and greeted her as she returned from her break. But for us not a smile. The young man that checked us out at the register again no smile. My girlfriend made a small comment and we laughed thinking maybe he would crack a smile but no. It seemed very unusual to not be helped nor have friendly service as I frequently visit the Lovers stores. This was my first time at the Brea location as my girlfriend and I had dined out for galentines. This visit really put me out of the mood to purchase anything more from the store. I would strongly suggest to have all the employees have a lesson in customer service since customer service is to serve customers. I'm not saying you have to follow me around and hold my hand but a welcoming smile is nice and asking every customer if they need help or have questions is mandatory in my eyes as a customer especially that I did have questions.
