They never have my butter roti buns :( today I went at 7pm and asked if they had any and they said no. I asked the fella if they were gonna make more and he said no? They don't even close for hours from now pls make more roti buns. Other than that this place is great!

Worst boba I have ever tasted. Not made with real ingredients. It's made out of powder. You can taste the powder when you sip. I bought 4 drinks didn't return them because I felt bad since it's a small business. Honestly the worst quality.

I love the boba that i order here... it is not too sweet, refreshing especially in the summertime when you just need to quench your thirst. The boba is also nice and firm. I've never tried their buns but they definitely smell sooo good.

I tried their featured item and did not expect to have it full with ice! I asked the cashier that was way too much ice for the drink and she responded" that's how much ice my manager tells me to put" if that's true. What a rip off! I was so disappointed with my purchase. I spent $5.60! Almost $6 for a small cup of ice! Will not be returning to this place at all! Horrible customer service! When you go to Starbucks if the customer is not pleased with the drink they would make the adjustment not ignore them. So if you want to come pay for ice this is the perfect place! Drank 6-7 sips and was completely gone! If you're coming here make sure to ask for NO ICE! And expect awful service!

This is the only decent milk tea place in Salinas. This Honey Berry is also way better than the one at the mall. Their milk tea is tasty and the boba is chewy. Their Cheese Roti bun is awesome!!! The place is clean and they social-distance. The only thing is that you can't substitute toppings in your drink. They can take toppings off but if you want to add toppings they will charge you more.

Yum! Delicious boba drinks, good service, spacious & clean seating area. We came to Honey Berry for a late snack at around 9 in the evening. We were greeted by a smiling worker when we came in who was also helpful with ordering. Both the hubby and I ordered a blended taro drink with boba. I got the small, he ordered the large. The drink is as I expected - sweet, creamy, and icy. The boba balls were soft and slightly sweet. We also ordered the roti buns that I had seen here on Yelp. We had the cream cheese flavor and to be honest, it was not quite my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, the bun is tasty - slightly sweet with that gooey cream cheese in the middle that gave the bun a little bit of sourness. The outside of the bun was crispy and buttery. Also, they warm the bun up when you order it. Overall, this is a great place for a boba drink that also serves gelato and other desserts. The inside is bright and clean, and the workers are sweet.

Bought 2 same drinks and wasn't filled up to the top. I bought 2 large size drinks. See the picture below when these drinks are flipped. I love their drinks but management needs to check this. We pay the right amount and therefore, we need to get what we paid for.

Weird how your website says you guys close at "10pm" but I arrived exactly at 9:10pm and I also had called before hand to make sure, the cashier saw me standing outside the door walked away and said nothing like a "sorry we are closed" would have been respectful. The worst place to drive to and waste time.

It is seldom that I eat anything that I have not tried before in one derivation or another. Considering the cultural diversity we are fortunate to have in the U.S.A. ('Merica...F#ck Yeah! )...there are really few "new foods". I mean if you've had a burrito...an Indian Naan wrap...or a Gyro...they are not much different one from the other but for the flavors and filling. So...I find myself with my son and daughter out and about looking for some quick "breakfasty" style noms...and pulling up Yelp to see whats nearby, I see this place. Honeyberry. The first review I noticed said something about try the Waffle Gelato something or other. My brain sees Waffle...and I think, Aha!...breakfast. When we walk into the place is a typical looking Frozen Yogurt-ish looking joint....except for the aroma of something sweet, baked and insanely delicious smelling. My stomach is looking for a chicken fried stead and eggs...but my nose and taste-buds say, "Hold on a second, what is that intoxicating aroma?". As I stood with an obviously dumb-founded face, the owner walked up and asked, "First time here?" He can obviously can read a face. I nodded slack jawed and saw him reach into a shelf and pull out a small round bread like item and place it into some sort of industrial toaster. As the toaster turned on, the aroma filling the place suddenly got stronger. "Here, I'm gonna give you a Roti to try." He could have just as easily said, "Here...I'm going to throw some bulls cajones in a toaster covered with sugar for you to try" and I'd have had the exact same reaction. I nodded eagerly in anticipation of eating whatever was making that wonderful aroma. Before my brain finally decided that perhaps now would be a good time to engage my vocal cords and attempt some sort of discourse with the gentleman...the toaster made a loud "ding" and the owner handed me a small brown bun on a piece of paper. What I was handed was a "Roti Bun" . Soft, warm, doughy, sweet and amazingly delicious. It was like having a raised donut, all fluffy and soft, yet chewy, with a super sweet sugary crust that provided a wonderful crunchiness and the flavor similar to the deep browned outer crust of a waffle. Mind blown! I quickly ordered one of each of the flavors of Roti buns they sell, Plain, Chocolate Butter and Yogurt Chip Cream Cheese. My kids and I sat down and within a minute all three Rotis had been split between us...so we could taste each flavor...and devoured in complete silence as each of us was having a bit of trouble wrapping our brains around these. Long story short, If you ever happen to be near a Honey Berry....AND...(notice it's a BIG "AND") you love sugary doughy items (we're talking you are the sort of person who loves donuts on a daily basis, deep fried twinkies and funnel cake...and never shies away from hitting your waffles or french toast with a healthy snow storm of powered sugar just before drowning them in pure maple syrup...) then a Roti bun will quickly become a favored delivery platform for getting sugar and dough into your body quickly! Did I mention these things are delicious?! No, seriously...I do not think I will be able to eat a donut ever again... If Roti Bun and Cinni Bun had a battle....Roti would Ninja Cinni Bun's glazed butt! That's all I'm saying.... Really...these things are that good. (Could be the sugar talking....sorry) read more

I love their roti buns. I use to go to San Jose and get them there but now I don't have to drive so far. I like the regular roti buns but the other two with the chips are just as good. They have something in the middle for the one's with chips. The regular one do not. Anywho, it's a great place to visit and try something new. They also have boba and ice cream as well. read more

I heard so many bad things about this place. Everyone would say Tapioca Delight was better. Honestly I enjoyed the drinks I got here. They were very nice considering they had a lot of people in the shop. I would definitely recommend this place. I tasted the Thai tea, taro, & piña colada with boba. All very good. read more

I ordered a boba milk tea and it was the most awful boba drink I have ever tried, and on top of that extremely overpriced. For a small it costed roughly 5.75$. Definitely won't be going here again, and if you were in need of good tasting boba I would recommend going to a better spot. If you like super sweet milk than this is your spot. read more

Their taro is better than tapiocas. This place is pretty cheap and very delicious. I love going to honey berry whenever I come visit my parents in salinas. Best place in town so far to get Boba especially Taro. You want a slushy just ask the cashier to make it into a slushy n they'll do it. read more

Honey berry was just amazing. We were recommended the honey dew tea with boba by the cashier and we were definitely pleased. The cashier was very nice and gave us a free Roti bun. We were shocked at how good it was and had to get another one. This place will soon drive tapioca delight out of business. read more

Love this place. My sister got me hooked, there was a time I had to have a green tea smoothie (no boba) at least every other day. My husband had to hold an intervention lol. Anyways, their drinks are delicious, their roti buns are heavenly and pretty much everything in their shop will make your mouth water. Great customer service too, everyone is so friendly and helpful! read more

The roti buns aren't super sweet(like a glazed donut or something) but they're really good! Warning: addictive! It's a very clean location and they've got such variety: soft serve frozen yogurt(think myo/yogurtland set up including a buffet of toppings), gelato, boba drinks, lattes, smoothies, waffle sundaes, and of course-roti buns!! So much goodness! read more

I go to the Honeyberry in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area a lot and I am happy they open one in Salinas. It is nice to see that Salinas is finally opening more places that are ethnic diverse than oppose to just having American and Mexican places. But one thing I would complain about is the the korean bapt-bing-soo or Korean shaved ice. The places in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale make their bapt-bing-soo in a bowl rather than on a plate. I wish the one in Salinas would do that. Also PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID of the RED BEAN that is in the bapt-bing-soo. Asian red bean are not like the typical bean you think American and Mexican people eat. Asian red bean are sweet and are only made for dessert. read more

The service was not good, sorry to say. The girl that took my order did not put my order in right and I'm sure that was just an honest mistake that's okay but when I told the other girl that I didn't order what she gave me she gave me an attitude. I work at Jamba Juice and trust me she would have been fired on the spot, but unfortunately I was the only customer at that moment so I had no witnesses to witness the rude attitude. I will never go there again. read more

Stopped by today for the first time with my husband. We each ordered a blended boba drink and a roti bun. Tried butter and cream cheese buns and they are amazing! While we were waiting for our drinks we were looking at the gelato and the man behind the counter let us sample each flavor. That was very nice of him considering we had already ordered. Green tea and Oreo were my favorite. I will definitely be back for gelato and roti buns. As far as the boba drinks go, they weren't bad, I just like the ones from another shop in Salinas. read more

One star for honey berry on Sanborn Rd Salinas. I walked in the store to buy some Plain Roti Buns, the 2 employees looked at each other and one employee said they only had 2 chocolate and 1 cream cheese left.. I was very disappointed because It was 9:00 and I only like the plain Roti Buns. I still bought the ones they had left for my kids. Staff is not friendly at all, I received not one single smile. Store was dirty, tables were not clean. Very very disappointed. When this store opened for the first time, I would always get a "Welcome to Honey Berry" the girl working there was friendly back then. The employees now are NOT! You get 1 star from me Honey Berry. read more

I was totally surprised with this place. I'd been to the Honeyberry in Sunnyvale many times and this location rocks! I randomly found this business while searching for a free wifi spot. Upon recommendation, I ordered the strawberry and lemon gelatos. AMAZING! Great customer service in a very clean environment. I look forward to stopping by again. read more

Location sucks but hey can't complain too much, it is the only chain in the vicinity. I dream of the honey toast, which by the way took way too long to make (I guess it kinda assured freshness). The shaved ice is heavenly and is enough for 2-3 peeps. read more

Favorite place to get boba at!! The workers are super sweet and help you if you need a suggestion. I love the java chip with boba but I used to get the Taro with boba. So good. I'm always in there. Haven't been to Tapioca Delight in so long because this has replaced it in my heart. read more

All the bowls we've tried have been 10/10. It takes a bit for the staff to make your order, but of course! All the ingredients are fresh and everything's made to order - it's incredible. No complaints from me. I had to grab a menu myself and ask in a loud tone if I could sit anywhere just to get their attention. Once seated, it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come by. I ordered a boba drink and pho with brisket. The server returned after another 8 minutes to say they were out of both the boba flavor I wanted and the brisket. After I reordered, the replacement boba arrived extremely sweet -- basically tasted like watered-down sugar syrup with almost no tea flavor. The pho was even more disappointing.. the broth was watery and bland, there was very little beef, and the bowl was light on noodles and toppings. It felt like a shadow of what they used to serve. It's sad to see a spot that was once one of the best pho places in Salinas (in my opinion) decline this sharply. The restaurant was unusually empty, and the few other customers looked just as unimpressed. I understand rising food and restaurant operating costs, but cutting quality this much will only drive more people away. I rarely leave negative reviews and I don't consider myself to be such a picky eater, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. I'm not sure I'll be back.

The Employees are very considerate and nice, greeting every new costumer that arrives. The service is fast, even when it is busy. It is rare when an order is made wrong. There are many different Drink Flavors. My favorites are Thai Tea, Taro, Oreo, and Expresso. You can even ask for combinations of flavors. If the sweetness is not to your liking you are also able to ask for reduced or increased sugar level. The workers of the store are very understanding. Furthermore, they serve crepes, teas, ice cream, frozen yogurt, and waffles. The ambiance depends on the amount of costumers in the store but it is usually peaceful enough to study with the wifi, or just chill, or have a laugh with friends while eating. Overall, Honey Berry is a great Boba store that has something for everyone as well as unmatched service. read more

This is the worst place I've ever been to! The manager or owner started cussing at me to my face out of no where right outside his business. He started blaming me for something I didn't do and also talked bad about the kids he sold to because he feels like he is forced to give them a discount for huge orders of 100 drinks and is losing money(nobody's forcing him). I talked to my kid and says they often get drinks with broken packaging that spill and don't ever complain! I would give 0 stars if I could and have the video of the owner cussing, yelling and thrashing kids to prove the owner of honey berry on Sanborn rd Salinas doesn't have people skills! read more
