I called before my oil change light came on and Tony told me to wait until it started lighting up. I was immediately impressed because he could've made money off me but told me to wait. A few months later, the light came on and I made an appointment. It's difficult to get an appointment quickly but I didn't need one right away so it worked out. I think he was scheduling a couple weeks out. The day of, I dropped my car off around 9am and came to pick it up around 4pm. Plan to leave your car as there isn't really a waiting area. If you walk about 10-15min you can find a coffee shop. It's also on a bus line if you want to take transit somewhere. Tony is very friendly. The oil change was reasonably priced at $88 before taxes. It was a great experience.

I waited outside on the curb because waiting inside would have given me a migraine. This service was not even a cheaper than average. I still paid what I would pay at the reputable dealership, but the technician did not tighten the oil filter and left the dipstick open, causing my car leaked oil for the past few months. The smell was noxious and it should never have happened. I only found this out after bringing it to another servicer because of the terrible smell. I would not recommend for quality or affordable work. Speed seems to be the only priority here and not worth the trade offs to quality.

The Bridgestone tires I originally wanted were no longer available, but Richard went above and beyond to price match them and get me taken care of without any hassle. After inspecting them, Richard let me know that my brakes were actually still in good shape and didn't need to be replaced. Informative feedback on all items with photos in an interactive dossier. The special stuff: I had to make some special requests as a brand new customer that they could have easily scoffed at or charged me extra for, and most probably would these days, but they handled it all with understanding without batting an eye, which not only means they care about their customers but also that it's just how they do business. That's the kind of thing that we need more of, and which wins my business. If there's a down side, it could be that their prices might be on the high side. But honestly everything feels pricey these days and they're totally normal ‍ Anyway, I will do more business here.

I have been to this shop twice, mainly because my brother recommended them and because my regular…read moremechanic (worth his weight in gold) was too busy to take me. The first time I went in for a catalytic converter issue and it took three visits to get it right. They made good on their word--sort of--but it introduced a theme with them that I encountered later: the good cop/bad cop routine between the mechanic, Kenny, and the front desk guy, Wayne. Wayne never seemed to take any accountability, it was always a Kenny thing. That's not what I call accountability. The second, and now last, time I took my car in I had them repair a bunch of things that led to my car stalling in traffic. I dropped 3 thousand dollars on repairs that lasted me 30 miles. The brand new hose to my radiator came off and fouled the motor. Of course, even though they had done all kinds of work on the cars they day before, none of this was their fault. So, to get my car back into drivable condition, it cost me another 4 thousand dollars. Had I known beforehand that I was going to get stuck spending 7 thousand dollars on my car, I would have probably taken a different course. When I took my car to my Real Mechanic, he said that I probably had a legal case against them (though impossible to prosecute) and that my engine "sounded like shit". They said the hose looked large and was probably cranked down too hard, and that was what led to the radiator flange breaking off. Oh, and Lioe's kept my car for three weeks while they were trying to fix it. If I had known that they would take that long (and their communication was terrible) then I would have been out a car just as long as waiting for my Real Mechanic to get me in. At this point I don't trust Lioe's enough to take the car back and have it serviced under warranty, should it have engine troubles. How's that for a spot to be in? They should fix it, but I don't think Kenny is either skilled enough, or scrupulous enough, to properly fix it. Feeling quite burned by the whole experience.

There were four workers and everyone accomplished their respective task in a timely manner. Oil & filter changed, interior of vehicle vacuumed, windows (exterior) wiped down and everyone moved with efficiency. One of the workers came to show me a placard with white circles with a few drops of automatic transmission fluid explaining that it needed to be changed. Explained to him I would make an appointment for that service as soon as financially possible ($200+ quoted). Great overall experience and I would continue to drive the extra mileage to service our car at Pit Stop.
