Basic diner fare, nothing more and nothing less. Came here on a whim. Decided to give their breakfast a shot. It's designed to be an 1980s sit down restaurant, which is okay for the area. I went in and asked the server what's good. Was immediately steered to the most expensive items on the menu. Instead opted for a single over medium egg and a piece of French toast. Food came out quickly, but it was very haphazard. The French toast was white bread barely soaked in egg mixture and cinnamon hastily dashed on the plate. I came in with low expectations, and they met them in spades. At least the egg was in properly cooked. Price was 6 bucks, which was okay. If the quality was better then it would have been worth the money. Not a fan, it's a place to eat for the area. Don't expect much

Stopped in this morning w two friends for breakfast. My first time, not theirs. Ample parking. We were greated and seated promptly by Taylor, who also took our drink orders after we sat. Very diverse menu with lots of choices. Normally, I am a corned beef hash man, but Taylor, when I asked. mentioned it was not homemade. Plan B was scrambled w kielbasa, HF and toast. Demanding Dan had his usual....meat lover's omelet. Mike AKA Omar had ham and eggs over easy. Food came out really fast and hot. The three of us were satisfied and enjoyed our meals. Taylor was constantly checking on us and refilling our drinks. As w most food establishments, they are looking for additional help. All in all, am a big fan.

Never had anything at Hometown that I did not like. The menu is quite varied for breakfast, lunch or dinner and they have liquor too. Prices are fair and servings ample. Located in a plaza, the parking is very good. Atmosphere is homey and comfortable and the staff is attentive and friendly. Try it, I think you will like it.

Whole belly clams They were yummy and reasonably priced

Recently changed hands. Place was out of control. New owner has no idea what she is doing. Miss Kathy already. We will not be back.

Had heard really good things from two friends, so stopped in yesterday for lunch on the way home…read morefrom East Longmeadow. Sat at the bar, where 5 others were also having lunch. Jacob brought over my drink order and a menu. Lots of good options, and I ended up ordering a Bond burger w crispy fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, and the brioche bun held together well. Jacob mentioned they get their meat from Arnold's, which has a rep of being one of the best, if not THE best meat purveyors in the region. Burger had a nice charbroiled flavor. The fries... I don't know how to describe them except to say in my top 2 all-time. Crunchy on the outside, like they were coated (with what?, not sure). If you read my Yelp profile, you'd know that I believe ketchup is a vegetable. I have been known to put ketchup on my ketchup. Not with these fries. I ate them naked (the fries, not me thankfully). One quibble. I thought the bottle of Stella's, at $6.50, was a bit high. Next time, and their will be a next time (Jacob mentioned prime rib on Thursdays), I'll stick to a draft beer. All-in-all, one of the best burgers and some of the best fries I've ever had. And the music was at a good decibel level (and included really good songs). Definitely recommend. 5 stars!

I actually left them a great review on January 1, 2025, but I will say that my last three orders have totally dissatisfied me. I'll start with a burger I ordered a few months back. It was very greasy, and the bun was soaked with juice to the point it was soggy, and the cheese wasn't just softened when put in the oven, it was pretty much liquefied, and it did a number on my stomach. The pizza slices, which I used to die for, are now extremely thin and have a completely different taste. I asked if they changed their recipe for the slices and I was told no. Recently I went there to eat in and ordered a chicken quesadilla. I also got a side salad which was ok. The quesadilla was served cut into fours. It wasn't terrible but only four of the slices had chicken in them. The fourth slice was just quesadilla. Also, to my total disappointment, they used chicken cold cuts instead of shredded chicken to fill the quesadilla with. Talk about cheaping out. I'll honestly say I probably won't visit or call Danny's again. I will end this review by saying that this has nothing to do with the staff. They get 5 stars.

Available parking is pretty sparse, be prepared to either wait or park on the grass. Customers all over the place, the shop is very small. Folks in line out the door. They have a nice little prepared foods fridge and a small freezer with assorted items. After a short wait I made it to the seafood case. Bob the owner was extremely polite and very helpful, offering help and suggestions for my selections. I picked up large sea scallops, ahi tuna, Scottish salmon, blue crab salad and some smoked salmon. All very tasty and as fresh as it gets unless you catch it yourself. But, be prepared to pay a premium price for any seafood bought from Cold Harbor. The nice lady at the register noticed that I was a Veteran and said they give a 15% Veterans discount on some, not all items with proof of service. VFW card, VA medical card, etc. which was awesome and made my overall experience even better! Bottom line is I'll be back to Cold Harbor for all my seafood needs. The quality of their products and great service is definitely worth the price!
