We finally decided to move forward with changing out our windows. We have over 20 windows in all and they were old and our home was always breezy. Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winters. Seeing the windows now, I wish we would have done them sooner. Sure, they look great but what impressed me is how even the temperature is throughout the house. Our upstairs is warmer than downstairs but it's not as drastic a difference. And there's are no more breezy or drafty areas. Ever since we got the new windows, the heat is running less often (we have a smart thermostat connected). We're definitely going to save on it energy bills in the winter and summer. The entire Hometime Team did an excellent job. Communication was very easy and they explained the process from beginning to end, I even had the opportunity to see their warehouse where they manufacture the doors. The entire staff was very professional and informative. Scheduling an installation date was quick and Eddie and Carlos arrived 30 minutes early and quickly went to work removing our old door and putting in our new sliding door. My purpose for getting a new front door was to provide more light in my hallway and I wasn't sure if I wanted one with glass due to privacy. They showed me the door that has mini blinds inside the glass and I absolutely love it. Not only does it give my hallway a new look, it gives me also the privacy to close the blinds when I need to. So glad that I made the decision to get it from Hometime. Robert, the installer, was awesome, was very professional as not only did he show up on time, he waited to get started until I had all the cats into the bedroom so they would not escape!! I couldn't be happier! They came out and worked with the quote as far as options that the wife and I were considering (French style or plain for the sliding glass door, one big tempered window versus a small tempered window with a divider, etc.). Once the quote was finalized they came out for the final measurements, scheduling, and down payment. I was lucky to have a 2 day install scheduled only about 2 weeks out. Install time was set to start between 0800 and 0900. On the day of he install Eduardo and Jaime were there right at 0800!!! That means a lot to me. Eduardo and Jaime introduced themselves, explained what they needed to do, and asked permission to be able to come and go into the house. They also made sure that there were no pets loose in the house. Eduardo and Jaime went right to work. There was a concern with the decorative wood trim around some of my windows. I was relatively certain that it was just nailed to my stucco. They peeled off the wood from one window and we were delighted to see that I was correct. The installers were able to rip off that nasty old wood and now I have windows that are flush to the house. I felt comfortable enough to leave the house several times to take the kids out, get lunch, etc. They got the sliding glass door and 10 out of 16 windows done the first day. After they left I already notified how quiet the house was and that the temperature was not fluctuating like it does in my house usually. The next day they finished off. All the windows look perfect. They have a clean look and feel and the installers made super clean work of he project. I can't believe how awesome the caulking looks. I think my house is cleaner after they left than before they started! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Great product and a great company. A few days after the install the owner called me to make sure everything was ok. From start to finish every employee took great pride in the company. Lowe's and Home Depot quoted me about $16k to $19k for them to do it. Hometime was able to do it better and for about $8400. I think I will have them do my front door next. read more

Following our window purchase which I previously reviewed, we also ordered a new Front Door. It came in and was installed a couple of weeks ago. We are very happy with our new front door. Our old door was in desperate need of replacement. It was not energy efficient because the heat and cold were coming right under the door because it just was not ceded right, the weather stripping was shot and the floor plate was loose and wobbly. Danny and Ivan came to do the install of our new door and they were awesome. They made our new door fit perfectly. I called Hometime Windows & Doors to schedule an free estimate. Michael came out and talked to my husband and gave him A TON of options to choose from. After we made a choice, Michael came out again to measure all the windows. Michael was always very professional and responsive to e-mails and texts. I got e-mails from HomeTime Windows & Doors leading up to our first window installation, telling us that they started making our windows, and how to prep/keep area clear so that they can install the windows. When Eduardo & Carlos came out at 8 am to installed our 12 windows...they were finished by 2 pm! We were very happy with the installation process and our windows. They did not leave a trace that work had been done other than beautiful, clean, clear windows. When the work was done, the owner of the company followed up with a personal call and e-mail the next day. However, we did notice a slight warp, very tiny blemish on one of our windows. I texted Michael, and he had the service people follow up with a call to schedule someone to come out. They were going to send someone out to inspect it first, but ended up just having someone come out and replace it completely. The only thing about replacing the window was that I got a call the morning of the appointment to verify which window it was/the measurements. I think that should have been done well before the morning of the appointment date. Overall it was a great experience working with Hometime Window and Doors. We shopped around and received 5 quotes to replace 23 windows that were original to our 1992 house. HomeTime was the last quote that we received and received great initial visit from Mike Lowrie. The quote was in our price range and we even went and visited the windows in there office. The windows seemed high quality and the wait time was only 3 weeks compared to other companies that were up to 3 months. When it came to installation I was told that it would take two days due to the amount of windows that were being replaced. Eduardo and Carlos were great and they were even able to get an extra crew to come out and finish in one day. I was really happy with the installation and the crews clean up after. Based on the options, price, and reputation we decided on Hometime. We also did our diligence and looked at their Yelp, Google, and BBB. After deciding on Hometime it took a couple weeks to manufacture our windows. Come installation time: Peter and Enrique called to confirm out time/date. They showed up a little early! They started on time and endured the floors were covered and began taking the old windows out. They were very clean about the process.
