Hot chocolate should be hot. And taste like chocolate. We came in for coffee but were told that wasn't an option because the espresso machine was being cleaned so we opted for hot chocolate. It is not hot. It does not taste like chocolate. Waste of money. read more

We were staying at One Ocean and walked over here for breakfast. Quick walk - less than 5 minutes. It's a quaint and healthy food spot with smart and better eating options! Cons: limited in seating. We wish their food had sides, like the burrito had diced potatoes or side of fruit, etc. Pros: we ordered a bunch of options. And everything we tried was delicious! We loved the coffee, great quality. They had coffee and Kombucha on tap. Also they had small and large açaí bowls. The small was perfect as a side option if you also got a mini burrito or 1 slice of toast. The Sweet Heat burrito was my favorite !! Full of flavor. A bit spicy like we were warned but we loved it! This review is for a catering order: WOW! First class service and first class fresh food. I was very excited to try Homespun and had an opportunity to use them as our caterer for a wellness/healthcare event I facilitated. I got compliments all day long on how great the food was on point. The mobile acai station is genius and an affordable way to add a unique touch to any space. My learners loved that they could customize their bowls and all the fruit was freshly cut. The only comment was one person wished they had whipped cream lol but that defeats the We also loved that every dish is customizeable as well. So while our bases were vegan or vegetarian, I loved how I had the freedom to add different proteins or even avocado to them. The Buffalo Ranch was PERFECT, not too spicy but lots of flavor. The other favorite were the Powerhouse wraps. They were able to accomodate evey dietary need we had and everyone felt like there was something for them to enjoy. Aaron and Joy were great to work with and the gentleman who helped deliver and set up was professional and timely. Will definitely use again for catering, and probably stop by for myself next time I'm strolling down Atlantic. read more

Seeking a quick breakfast before you head to the beach, look no further! Homespun is walking distance from the beach and makes an excellent breakfast wrap that you can take with you down to the beach along with great selection of drinks. They have açaí bowls if you prefer fruit in the morning as well. Ordered the egg, cheese with turkey bacon wrap and the iced coffee. Both tasted lovely and was very quick service. I love them almost as much as I love the food acai is always on point, and I love how everything on the lunch/dinner menu comes vegan or vegetarian! This is a cute little stop right near the water. The menu is relatively limited and there's hardly any seating. Even when dining in, everything is served in paper products, albeit compostable. But to me, I'd certainly prefer my espresso in a cup and my food on a plate. It was difficult to eat the toast from inside the small box it was placed in. I had to dismantle the box to pick it up. I did like the sentiment of the place but it just seemed to lack overall. So good! I went for the regular size joy breakfast wrap and added cheese and turkey bacon. It was a little pricey at nearly $12 but super tasty and large enough to satisfy any breakfast appetite. Worth to upgrade to regular size I think! Also the ingredients all make you feel healthy... even when stuffing things like turkey bacon and cheese in your mouth. My boyfriend thought the Southwest was a little dry and I definitely liked mine better ;) ordered online and it was waiting right by the door when I arrived. They seem to be taking covid precautions. I came in here twice and the experiences were night and day so I felt I had to share. The first time was an early Saturday morning after 8am. I walked in and the place wasn't busy at all and two ladies were behind the counter. They were very fast with taking my order and very thorough in asking me if I wanted anything else, if I wanted one egg or two eggs in my order, etc. I ordered the sweet heat egg wrap with two eggs and a medium drip coffee. Everything came out delicious and I enjoyed my time dining there. Fast forward to last weekend when I thought I would try my hand at an evening salad. I walk in and see 4 guys working tirelessly behind the counter and the prep station. I stood there for about a good 5 minutes without any acknowledgement whatsoever. Granted, they were busy, but still, "we'll be right with you miss" would have sufficed. Instead, I gave them an awkward, "I'll be right back" and I never came back. With that said, I took an average of both experiences and thus the 3 star review was born. I don't think my last experience would deter me from coming back. But the next time I see 3-4 dudes elbows deep in spinach and quinoa, I'm going to steer clear. read more

I know our society is into diversity, but diversity in the different Yelp reviews seems a bit much. Maybe it Is just one of those places that you either love or you don't. If you are not sure whether it is for you, here is my head-fi type quick synopsis. Pros: - Organic Food - Variety of Delicious Flavors - Juices, Shakes and Smoothies - Service Cons: - Parking (hint, park in the rear) - Table tops not clean (at least when I went) My daughters had been wanting to try this spot for a while because of the Acai Bowls and organic options. It took us awhile to figure out the menu, but once we got it choices were easy after that. We ordered two 50/50 Asian bowls, an Acai Bowl, a First Date milkshake and a strawberry type smoothie (cannot remember the name). It was so much food, we could not eat it all, even when we shared. The food was fresh, healthy and delicious and service was outstanding. I especially liked the 50/50 bowl of Asian greens and flavors, married with 50% rice, hence the 50/50. To be candid, there were a few issues. First there is the issue of parking, which is always problematic for this area of the beach, so it is not unique to Happy Cup. Also, they only have three or four tables and when we sat down all of them had stuff on the surface. It looked like someone had haphazardly wiped them off and while I did not mind wiping them off, it did seem a bit careless. But really worth a try! read more

Unique variety of healthy tasty options in Atlantic Beach. One of the employees could tell it was my first time and politely asked if he could help walk me through the menu. So many great choices it was hard to decide. So I got both... they offer two size portions so getting the smaller of both was the perfect breakfast. One of my favorite places in AB!! EVERYTHING I've had here has been amazing. While it's pricy (as many açaí bowl/health places are), it's well worth it because they're using fresh ingredients full of flavor. A majority (if not all) of their ingredients are locally sourced and/or organic. There's also options for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters so its perfect for everyone. One of my favorite things to get is the Hippie Chick breakfast wrap (but never actually for breakfast). It's locally sourced tempeh, avocado, organic spinach, organic carrot, scratch balsamic vinaigrette, house seasoning, 100% whole grain wrap but I sub Franks Buffalo sauce instead of the balsamic vinaigrette which makes it YUMMIER! The Harrison Acai bowl is incredible as well, the smallest size is usually perfect for me and runs you less than $8. Another one of my favorites is the Kimchi Avocado Toast. They bake the bread fresh in house and the kimchi is vegan (and deliciously spicy)! read more

He had the Sweet Heat wrap, addictive flavor combo and nice protein punch, while I had excellent steelcut oats with berries, almonds and banana, really fantastic texture and perfect amount of maple syrup.
