We went to Homespun after hubs saw the Yelp review (in area to visit sick relative at Mayo) and wanted a wholesome breakfast. Were definitely not disappointed! He had the Sweet Heat wrap, addictive flavor combo and nice protein punch, while I had excellent steelcut oats with berries, almonds and banana, really fantastic texture and perfect amount of maple syrup. Visiting from CA, where you can find amazing acai bowls, I was so pleasantly surprised to find this place but to also find out their bowls are great! I got two Harrison bowls, one for me and one for my grandma. So good! I appreciated they gave plenty of granola and fruit. My grandma was raving about it days after. My friend suggested this place when we were driving around and I mentioned I was craving an Açaí bowl. It's a small place along the shops on Atlantic beach my One Ocean hotel. I loved the wall that people wrote on- from quotes to names and dates. I got the regular size Super Goji Açaí bowl with agave on top. The employee was very nice and offered me an extra fruit because I had to wait a few minutes so they could make more açaí, which I didn't mind waiting at all. The bowl was very filling and the regular size cost around $10-11. I'm not familiar on what the average cost is for açaí bowls, but I was fine with it. They offer other foods as well. They do breakfast and lunch options and they also have 4 flavors of frozen yogurt. I'd Ike to come back again to try some of their food selections. Plus it's a short walk to the beach or you can sit outside and people watch. read more

Cool location near walkable shops across from the beach. Small cozy atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. But the food was overpriced! I paid $20 for a chicken wrap and an iced cappuccino not including the 20% tip. Granted the avocado ($2 I believe) and the chicken($4!) inside the wrap cost me extra, but way too much extra. It's a chicken wrap. It tasted okay, nothing $15+ worth about it. Just spring mix, corn, beans, cheese, avocado, and chicken. They should think about using a bit less of everything because it was gigantic, soggy, and falling apart. It was the type of wrap you'd want to save the other half of but can't bc it's too soggy. So you either end up too full from trying to salvage or throwing your money away. I suggest sharing with a friend. Their espresso is delicious and I like the fact that their "single is a double", buuuut if the staff is going to ask you about your milk preference when ordering coffee, they should ask about sugar preference too. I paid 3.25 for an iced cappuccino with no sugar only to have to throw in raw sugar myself and chew on it like Dunkin' Donuts. Hopefully just an off day. read more
