The pizza was solid (8/10) for the area, given that some authentic Italian spots are minutes from this place. The fries were good (8/10), and the wings were okay (7/10). MY RECOMMENDATIONS: The competition for Italian and American food is too steep to invest much effort into improving pizza and fries. Horrible food. We have gone here many times in the past and food was inconsistent with a few reliable items. Tonight our " reliable items" were horrible. Sausage pizza was cardboard with practically zero cheese and minimal sausage. Dry as a bone. Overcooked. The Greek sandwich which came with fries on previous orders, now cost an additional $. I've ate here a couple times. Gyros were pretty good. Today, I tried the Philly cheesesteak...honestly the absolute WORST one I've EVER had my whole life. Bread was hard and burnt, they used lamb instead of beef, and the provolone cheese just made it that much more worse. Growing up in Tarpon Springs, always had great Greek food so now every time we visit other cities we try local Greek offerings. The gyro cone at Olympia, the meat didn't have any charring and that translated to the sandwich. Was almost as if the meat wasn't cooked all the way and the chicken souvlaki meat was so dry. My daughter took me there a few months ago and I'm hooked now. I originally had a Gyro with lamb and a side and it was delicious. My wife and i order takeout a bit and we always include a Greek salad with chicken. Their Greek dressing is the best I've ever had and salad has good leafy lettuce not iceberg crap. Me and my wife ordered the gyro value meal, we usually go here when we crave their gyros. We found hair entangled in the meat of the gyro about 3-4 inches long light brown to blondish color. My wife brought it up with the cashier and he said "thats your hair" mind you my wifes hair is about 2 foot long black colored hair and she had it in a bun. We left shortly after having it remade, but the cashier said as we walked out the door "watch your hair next time huh?". The cashier's hair is about 3-4 inches long, mine is about 2 inches. The menu seemed a bit overpriced to me at first but once I saw the portion sizes, I believe they were fair. We ordered the turkey club, spaghetti and chicken Buffalo wrap. Everything was delicious! But the customer service was dreadful. The menu doesn't say the sandwiches/wraps come with a side so I asked if they had chips and the gentleman's facial expression immediately changed to this disgusted, possibly annoyed, look and all he said was "no". I said okay, can I just add a side of fries. A few moments later my husband asked if we could add cheese to the turkey club because again, it is not listed on the menu with the other ingredients that comes on it, and his face made the same annoyed look and he said "it had cheese". Anyways, the food comes and sure enough there was 3 sides of French fries because he couldn't be bothered to tell me the meal came with sides. The establishment itself was pretty dirty throughout. Don't let the exterior fool you. Olympia's has some of the best Greek food and pizza you'll find (I know, interesting combo). Tbh, I love routine and almost always get the gyro combo. For $12 you get a gyro, fries, and fountain. Gyro is perfect and PACKED with meat. Meat forward in all the best ways. Fries are solid too. Olympia Cafe has, by far, the best gyros and buffalo wings in town hands down. The gyro meat is juicy and flavorful. I tried the Gyro platter yesterday and it was amazing. The salad with the greek dressing is wonderful. The sauce that comes with the gyro is also delicious. The wings are just the right size, crispy, and the buffalo sauce is amazing. I've never had a sauce like this in the Jacksonville and beaches areas. I highly recommend it. They also have unique eats like falafel and hummus and they were delicious. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable and affordable on every budget. Honestly, I do love this places food. But the staff? Thumbs down. They accidentally delivered food to me. Went and asked my neighbors if they ordered food, they all said no. Oh well, not much else I could do. 10/15 mins or so go by, I start eating it. Then some lady calls me up yelling saying I either need to pay for it or bring it back. I told her I already started eating it, why would I bring it back. She continued to yell at me, so I told her to come pick it up. I'm not gonna pay for something that was their mistake? The owner then calls asking what I'm going to do? Bro, it's not my mistake. Already told her to come pick it up. So at the end of the day, I will no longer order from here.
