    1) Food worth the hype 2) Genuine customer service Large open clean restaurant with a lot of options. We got two gyros and combination plate. Plenty of food for three adults and two children. The meat was tender, fries well seasoned and soft pita. This place is the definition of a hidden gem and I am glad we tried it. If you are in the area it is worth stopping by and grabbing a bite. We will be back!

Stopped in for a takeaway lunch on a Saturday. This is currently the only store open in a strip mall but that makes parking very easy. Inside is clean and spacious. Service was friendly and helpful. I opted for the gyro platter and will be eating for days! The meat, sauce and rice are all very good. The salad is what it's supposed to be and I appreciated the large chunks so they don't get mushy. Definitely want to return to try different things.

I want to start off by saying that the customer service was excellent in the building was very clean. Now regarding the Gyro was it the best one that I've ever had no but it wasn't the worst either. It was just OK. The tzatziki did taste magnificent. The pita bread was very soft but honestly for me there was nothing magical or flavorful regarding the Gyro. It was just OK. I did inquire about the chicken Shawarma, but the guy who took my order couldn't confidently tell me that it was great so I just got to the basics. Would I go back probably not but that's just my personal opinion. I don't know how to explain it. It was just OK.

Gyro Bros is such a simple concept with a very basic but great Mediterranean menu. The options include shawarma, gyros, falafel and more. I came in right when they opened (Noon on a Saturday) and there was a few people that came in with me. Ordering was quick and easy. Of course I had to come in and check out the veggie options and ordered The Mediterranean bowl with a side of Baba Ghanoush to go. Everything was packaged perfectly and perfect temperature! Once I opened it up to eat at home I was not disappointed. The flavors were so fresh and seasoned well with both the bowl and the baba ghanoush!

What a wonderful spot! We were hoping to try a new place off of US1 and Gyros Bros didn't disappoint. Their combo platter was delicious. Full of flavor and quality ingredients. The gyro was the best I've tasted in a while and I was loving the tzatziki. Little kid approved too. Great to split. Great service and quiet environment. They seemed to have quite a Togo following because though the dining area was empty, they have several togos while we were there. Very clean too. Recommend going!!

First gyro- tastes great but I love taziki and was disappointed it was all put on one end, made for quite the mess trying to spread and have to undo the whole thing. Meat was great but that would have fixed my only gyro issue. Apps- didn't love the falafel and would have liked one extra taziki like I asked to go with everything. A girl likes her sauce:) Warning though, the green stuff is extremely spicy. Had no idea until I had a huge dip... not like tobacco spicy but like the stick with you home made spicy. I loved the hummus, very good Gyro was my favorite. I spent $22, in today's market I feel I got a pretty decent amount of food. The service was friendly, I would go back and just be more specific about my requests.

Always down to trying Mediterranean food and with this new restaurant close by I wasn't going to miss the chance. The restaurant itself is super simple in regards to decoration, not your typical place for first date lol The menu is small but cuts to the chase and has something to offer for everybody. I had to go for the gyro; and it was simply delicious! The meat was crunchy and the tzatziki was great! So that will be my go to dish here! I also ordered the chicken shawarma, which as other Yelper pointed out it's not a real chicken shawarma, it's more of a regular grilled chicken in a wrap with a delicious garlic sauce. The owners were very nice and checked on me a couple of times, I wish this place good luck and I'll be seeing them often hopefully!

Recently discovered a fantastic new place in San Marco for lunch, dinner or carry out. Inside is clean and features great pictures to set the mood. You order and they bring it to you. You can tell it's a family affair and the service along with the food tasted like the family was proud to serve their take on Mediterranean and middle eastern favorites. They should be proud. Everything was fresh and excellent. My wife and I ordered the sampler and gyro sandwiches. The sampler consisted of grape leaves, tahini, falafel, hummus, baba ganoush and finally some of their jalapeño salsa. Grape leaves- only slightly minty, a better condensed texture of rice and flavor. You could not distinguish between the layers. This just melted in your mouth. Falafel-very good falafel. If Wafaa and Mike's didn't exist, this would be the best. Hummus-supreme hummus, rivals anywhere I've been to in the past. Falafel X has always been the standard for me and this was just as good if not better. Baba Ganoush-Fantastic as well. Jalapeño Salsa-This was a surprise and could be bottled and sold publicly. It resembles the consistency of guacamole. Fresh, clean flavorful at first and then the spice just kicks. Pita-The pita was good. I wish they used the same pita for the gyro for dipping. Gyro-Again, this gyro meat rivaled anywhere I have been and they give you a ton of it. The pita bread that comes with gyro is amazing as well. It's huge and it's $9. The sampler was plentiful as well and was only $12. Really we could have split both and had an excellent lunch for the two of us. Fresh, delicious and a great value. Highly recommend you try them out and support this great new local business.

Love this place! Daughter is new to the area and found this gem. Dined here twice in four days. Food is fresh and authentic. Service is quick and the staff is friendly. Will definitely be back!

Wow, i think we have found our to go spot for gyros! I believe it is one of the best gyros in Jacksonville and we have tried many. They have a hot spicy sauce that is simply delicious. Service is friendly and fast provided by the owners. The place is small but cozy and really clean. Wish them all the best and we will be back to try the shawarma.

Glad we found this place! Easy to miss in a small strip, they have delicious food and large portions. Unassuming, bright and clean inside and plenty of seating even though it was busy. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy, friendly staff brought our sampler out first. The hummus was excellent, creamy and flavorful. The baba ghanoush was also excellent, something that I don't always enjoy. The falafel was good and the grape leaves were perfect. I love grape leaves with only a hint of mint and compacted rice inside. The sampler also comes with tzatziki, jalapeño salsa, and pita. The tzatziki was good and the salsa was so spicy and delicious. The pita was warmed but I would have preferred the same pita as my gyro rather than the thin pita. The sampler platter would have been plenty for us to split but we wanted to try the gyro too. So much gyro meat wrapped in a soft and fluffy pita with the perfect amount of lettuce, tomato, red onion and tzatziki. The gyro is so filling and only $9. You can also add fries and a drink for an added $4. So glad we had the opportunity to try this place and highly recommend!

    Baklava

Absolutely amazing food! We started we the sampler. The baba ganoush was smooth and garlicky, and the falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Grape leaves were to die for. I got kafta kebab with the fattoush salad. The kafta was so tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned. The rice was fluffy and had great flavor. Hubby devoured his gyro, didn't even offer me a bite. We finished it off with the baklava and left with full bellies and smiles. 10/10 will definitely be back!

If you are striving for that "Olive Garden Salad + Bread combo"... let me suggest Kofta's version which is the Coban Salad and Puffy Bread. They're not offered as an all you can eat combo, but it should keep you filled between the two. - Coban Salad (5/5): A must try, soooo delicious. Fresh ingredients. Kofta Plate, Chicken Shish, Adana Plate are all good choices (5/5) - Sandwiches/Wraps: Their Doner Wrap was just okay to me (4/5) Service (5/5): no complaints here Pricing (5/5): Best value when you eat during Lunch. But Dinner items are not too pricey. Lastly, Buffets are also offered...on Sundays I believe. I haven't tried it yet but it definitely gives me a great reason to come back to Kofta.

It was way too much food for two of us, but it was all delicious. The meat was a little bit salty, but it was balanced out by the rice and other vegetables on the plate. The mixed appetizers were delicious. I don't think I would order the calamari again. Overall, great Turkish cuisine, owned by Turkish couple who moved to the United States a few years ago.

I was pleased with the overall appearance of the dining area. It was intimate and felt romantic...at first. The place is nice but it doubles as a lounge after maybe 10pm or so. This made what started out as a romantic dinner, turn into a rush to get home. It became super crowded near where we were seated and the service became stretched. The food was good. There was complimentary bread that came with an olive oil dip reminiscent of Carabba's. For dinner I ordered tuna crudo, shrimp and lobster pappardelle , mushroom arancini, and brussel sprouts. I won't go as far to say that anything was mind blowing but the dishes tasted good. The pappardelle was the star it was balanced and loaded with fresh shrimp and lobster throughout. The mushroom dish was pretty much a risotto ball that was breaded and fried. The tuna crudo was okay, fresh but lacking acidity and umami. The brussel sprouts were charred nicely and came with a yogurt sauce. There was an array of dinks. Cocktails, wine, champagne service, and two bars to sit and have drinks or dinner. I ended up getting the Sirocco cocktail x2. The drink was made well and tasted good. I would definitely give Cataluna another shot, just not so close to party time. I came in as a solo diner and was seated quickly, although my table was kind of nestled underneath the high outdoor bar. That meant hearing some of the bartender's phone conversations. I ordered a glass of Lebanese rose wine and liked it! But my meal wasn't impressive. The vegetarian grape leaves (one of my favorite dishes, generally) were OK, although several were split up on my plate (but hey, it happens). I thought the flavor was underwhelming; there was a lot of acidity but nothing else. I also ordered a side of "extra crispy seasoned potato fries" which just turned out to be generic crinkle fries with salt. Definitely wouldn't order those again. I thought maybe there would be some sort of twist on them? The big frustration was service. The restaurant was far from full when I went -- I counted maybe a dozen seated tables. After I finished eating, I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get my waiter's attention to get my check even as I sat with my plates pushed away, glasses empty, and credit card out. He walked by multiple times to wait on and check with other tables, and I saw at least five other employees working in the front of house and walking by me. Even when I got his attention for the check, it took quite a few minutes to get it, despite him walking out to other tables. (Although I will note he seemed busier than the other employees!) My check before tip came to $24, which felt on the pricey side for what I got. I hope I'm wrong, but I got the vibe that I wasn't exactly their favorite type of guest -- a solo diner who wasn't smoking hookah. (I noticed another solo non-smoker go similarly unnoticed by staff.) Maybe they heavily favor regulars, too. But they weren't at capacity, and I'd have gotten out quicker had I been able to pay. Maybe it was just an off night. But it's just not a great feeling to be ignored.

Unfortunately, the fries were the biggest disappointment. They were extremely salty and mostly made up of the small broken pieces you usually find at the bottom of the bag. The gyro itself was good, especially after adding some white sauce my friend received with her order. We ordered the exact same meal, so I was surprised that she received three different sauces while I only received one. Overall, my first experience with 904 Saffron was lacking.
