I hope I enjoy the meals.

Super flavorful and savory without being too salty, and the goat and beef was pretty tender! The fufu was also really good. I was a little worried I wouldn't like the texture and that it would change as it cooled. But the texture reminded me a lot of fresh mochi, and it stayed just as sticky and stretchy as it cooled. I definitely want to come back and try all of their other dishes!

I just wanted to come to RD's and pick up a few things, and get home, but I was so exhausted. I told my friend we might as well eat here. I saw this restaurant, and I saw the Jollof rice! Always wanted to try and make it! But saw it on this menu, and got excited. Limited options for Vegan/Vegetarians. So the Jollof rice cabbage and plantains, ok cool whatever, I just want to go home and get in my bed. I would say, place your order and shop in the store, and come back 30 min after you order. This Jollof rice babbbbb'ie This rice is the truth! I don't know if it's authentic but what ever they are making is so good! That cabbage! Ya" ll could have doubled that So much flavor! Now, I haven't found a Plantain that I would eat! These were good! I did like them, the only Plantains, I ever ate.....But I would do double the cabbage still over the Plantains! Customer service was amazing, and guess what! I will stop and get a plate every time I come to RD's

I'm sad beyond words that Kroger has decided to discontinue delivery in Florida. I have received…read moreand read several stories as to "why", but none of them make sense. When I moved to Florida a decade ago, the only thing missing was Kroger. Then, a few years back, they started delivering here. It's not like the brick & mortar store experience, but it was better than nothing and being stuck with just the "P" and the "WD" stores. I felt like things were close to perfect since I could get a good part of my Kroger brand items. I grew up in Ohio and grew up shopping at Kroger, so I got used to things and miss certain things when I can't get them. Being able to get items here that I love made a huge difference. But alas, they are leaving. I have appreciated being able to get my products and having such great experiences with the delivery folks. You see the trucks everywhere, and 7 out of every 10 people I know order from Kroger. I hope one day they will come back. Rumor has it that a Harris Teeter may open in St Augustine, and that is a Kroger brand store. I wish it were coming to the Murabella, the north US 1 area for St Augustine, Durbin, or the Nocatee area. But it's all a rumor, but hint, hint! I'm sad, but I have nothing but good things to say about all the delivery folks and team that serviced us since their opening, not to mention all the money I've saved on gas! Although I have a few more weeks of getting deliveries before you close down operations here in Florida, I want to say "thank you". Thank you doesn't seem like it's enough though, so how about..."Pretty please, with sugar on top, come back or build some stores!" ,

Plus there was another coupon code on top of it when I tried. If you schedule it one full day in advance, delivery can be as low as $1.95. There is no tip for the driver either. Delivery drivers always have trouble with our apartment building, but literally Kroger delivers it to our apartment door without ever calling or asking questions each time. It is super easy and the groceries are good quality (and prices). Super happy with my experience with Kroger delivery and will continue to use it for weekly grocery hauls.

I appreciated her knowledge of our venue space in addition to the recommendations she provided us for selecting the menu and the set up. I thought I'd try Woody's Bar-B-Q, wedged in a quiet mixed use area between the Southbank and San Marco. With South Florida being tri-state NYC and North Florida being the South, not to mention JAX being so close to the Georgia state line, you know that good barbecue ought to be available in this neck of the woods. It is and it was. And I'm glad I wandered into Woody's that afternoon. Granted, it wasn't crowded, but the service went above and beyond. The interior is woodsy and the air conditioning was working beautifully, so I'd be eating in. I had a 2 meat combination plate - beef and turkey - that also came with sweet potatoes, lima beans, and toasted bread. I also had a refillable soft drink with the meal. It was all very good and I could have eaten even more. The price was fair. There is parking right in front of this low key eatery. Woody's is not that hard to find, just slightly west of I-95 once south of the St. John's River.
