I looked for the items first, back and forth, and didn't see them. I saw someone messing with the clothes on hangers and decided to ask, since she wasn't wearing any uniform or name badge. "Do you work here? I'm trying to find..." and she was annoyed, as if I'm supposed to know that she works there. She looked in a direction and said "they're over there." That's better than nothing. I found what I needed to buy and got some other things. The amazing thing about this store is that it is organized. If you go to Westgate Mall in Saratoga or Great Mall in Milpitas, you'll know what I mean. You'll be lucky to find anything because you have to watch for clothes on the floor. The cashier was pleasant. Even security was pleasant when I entered the store.

I bought a mop and bucket set a week ago. It was a markdown it had tape and look fine like nobody…read moreat tampered it. I took it home came to find out that there was no mop head. Brought it back with all the stuff it had my receipt. And all I wanted to do was exchange it for one that had the necessary mop head. The young lady told me she'd have to charge me the difference because the other box was not on markdown. And explain to me that that's why it was discounted well how was I to know that it was discounted and assuming that it had tape on the openings that it was unopened. How is one to know if something isn't complete usually you say something or it's labeled incomplete from my experience. Has to speak to the manager manager said no she couldn't do anything and she had to charge me the difference even though she admitted that it was partly their fault. So two wasted trips and still didn't get what I needed. It's okay cuz I won't be going back. I'll stick to real stores that have real policies and better products I guess that's what I get for going to a low end store. It's okay because I found the same setup on Amazon for the same price delivered to my home. And you wonder why department stores are going out of business. So much for trying to support local businesses. But I will say that the young lady at the register was very nice and the manager also.

One employee in particular, Savannah, really needs additional customer service training. I watched her assisting another customer, and I could clearly see her rolling her eyes and showing attitude while the customer was simply asking for help. That alone was very unprofessional. Unfortunately, I experienced the same attitude when I checked out. she was not careful at all with the items I purchased while bagging them. When an error happened, there was no apology and no effort to acknowledge it. Her overall demeanor came across as rude and dismissive. I chose not to say anything at the time because I did not want to create a confrontation, but customers should not be treated this way. No matter where someone shops or how much they spend, basic courtesy, patience, and professionalism should be expected. I also want management to address the restroom situation at this location. The restroom seems to have been unavailable since this store opened. I frequently shop with an elderly family member, and having to leave the store and go somewhere else in the plaza just to find a restroom in the middle of shopping is extremely inconvenient. This is one of their favorite stores, so it makes the situation especially frustrating. The former 99 Cent Store at this location did not leave me with this kind of impression, and I even recognize some employees who worked here previously. I'm not sure what has changed, but both the customer service and restroom situation deserve management's attention. I sincerely hope these concerns are addressed because I would like to continue shopping at this location. Unfortunately, today's experience was unacceptable and easily one of the worst I've had here.

I noticed the milk that my son loves to drink is $.99. I get to the register and it rings up for $1.48. The manager comes addresses the issue says she will only allow me to purchase one, I have a total of five in total. Another manager comes and says she will only acknowledge one of my five regardless of the tag. She expresses if I have further to express to reach out to the owner, I expressed please call the store owner. Next paragraph at that point they take their phones out and reach out to the owner of this particular store located on 11th St. in Tracy 95637. The owner also agrees only one can be purchased at the marked price on the label. while the others have to be charged the $1.48 I have always been taught that whatever the price that is marked is what I have to be charged. They lied and did not charge me market price but tried to charge me a completely different price that was listed only in their system. I'm not one to complain and usually I wouldn't make a fuss but considering the tag reads one price and when you get to the register, it's a completely different story, I do plan to reach out to corporate and I will follow up with updates after

We were just en route to a destination and stopped by here on a whim, but it looked like a clean, well-organized store, with reasonable prices. We didn't see as many discounted deals as we're used to seeing at GO's in our hometown area, but we saw some good deals all the same. We only bought a couple of bags of chips for our road trip, b/c that's all we needed as we had brought plenty of food and snacks with us, but we're glad to have seen this GO and stopped by, and now when we pass by here, we'll know there's a dependable GO on the way to the coast when we are headed out that way! It's cool because I go do my laundry and then I grab some odds and ends in here and put them in the car. I like it because it's a busy store but they're pretty good at keeping their store stocked and the people are nice. Maybe not the people that come in all the time but they always have a smile at the register.

There is one on Capitol Ave and the other is near State Road 17 and Hillsdale. Obviously, it needs a big Dollar Tree Plus! sign out front because the days of $1.00 merchandise are done. Even the candy is more than that now. There is a fair amount of $5.00 items now. They have merchandise that you'll find at Walmart or Target but you don't have to stand in another line at another store to get it. I buy a lot of drinks and snacks at this one. They're usually well-stocked on most everything. They have a good frozen section with some brands you'd find elsewhere, such as Bibigo for Bao Buns and Mandu/Dumplings or the Golden Krust Jamaican Beef Patties. I wish I had a car so that I could load up. I still can't believe that Snyder's of Hanover pretzels are $1.25 for a big bag. I've seen some really amazing deals from time-to-time. Once I found Goli Ashkawanda, which was normally $13.99 for only $1.25. Staff are always good and try to make things better.

Figured it would be fun for the babes to find & buy her own stuff so armed with a fistful of dollars I timed it to arrive an hour before closing because everything she see's she wants. This is a warning for you to not waste your time going on a Saturday when everything is $0.25. The babes insisted on looking in every available bin and ended up with 2 items for $0.50. I found it annoying that they had a store filled with items that were blocked off. Spoke to the one & only staff person at the register and learned those items are for next Tuesday and the few bins up front filled with literally garbage as in open containers of food, empty boxes and used wrapping material was all that was left from the previous Tuesday. After that experience I may try it again on a Tuesday or Wednesday but most of the stuff blocked off didn't look worth a return.

When I lived in Florida, several people told me about Costco, but I never even visited. Here, I decided to try it. When I first walked into the store to go to the Membership Desk, it was already a circus. I asked about a walkthrough and got "We don't do that any more." I reluctantly bought the membership and after one year, did not renew. It must have been a mutual agreement because they were sending notices to former tenants at my address, but not to me. 11 years later, I went with some neighbors. The store is better. It's not nearly as chaotic. The neighbors know most everyone working at the store from the store manager to the people demonstrating the food. It's not awful and it's not great, either. The store has a more diverse selection of foods. However, they seem to take away items randomly. The electronics seem as mediocre as they used to be. The self-checkouts are back. Prices are as high as expected to support returns AND to support good pay for workers. I'm glad for all who enjoy it.

It smelled like the holiday season when you walked in. I was pleasantly surprised by all the Brighton jewelry and purses. I love Brighton! The gal that worked there was very nice which made it even more pleasant to shop! I will definitely be returning.
